Beware, if you’re ordering off the gluten free menu DO NOT order the chip cob listed as “gluten free”. The cob isn’t gluten free!! The server let us order a chip cob on the gluten free side after we explicitly said the order was for gluten free fish and chips. Then they asked to package it separately because it contains gluten (??). Then got confused when my coeliac partner was confused why it had gluten in.

My partner booked here so that we could try somewhere different, as we had heard they had a good gluten free menu. We were not disappointed! Gluten free pasta and pizza... the chef even made us a gluten free garlic pizza bread.
Food was lovely and plenty of it!
We had gorgeous proper cocktails as well (2 for 1). Bargain!
But to top it all off was the service. The staff couldn't do more to make to feel welcome. Cameron was an absolute ray of smiley sunshine and made us feel so welcome.

This restaurant was very nice. It had two main rooms, one for small food or deserts and one is where you eat, the structure is modern and many choices on the menu. The food is fabulous and I tried a chai tea, a veg uttapum, and veg thali. There are many drinks, even types of chips and a small kids choice of food. There are indo Chinese food, masalas and many more amazing food. Service was quicker than other restaurants I've been to and you get large amounts of food for good money. Our experience was overall positive, but with a few niggles which overshadowed.
Afternoon tea food - absolutely beautiful and extremely generous portions. Gluten free options the best I've ever had for an afternoon tea. Very talented chefs clearly. Ordinary afternoon tea also excellent, and the children's portion generous.
We chose an orange blossom Ceylon tea, and this was lovely. Great selection of teas.
The parking was good and house decorated beautifully for Christmas.
The niggles were that the directions on the email link were incorrect and staff didn't receive the feedback in a logical way which would mean they do something about customers driving 15 mins in the wrong direction. Logically if something doesn't work, fix it or delete it from their emails because people are better off googling the location themselves rather than using the link that takes you to a place called Black Grill in Kirby Muxloe.
Secondly we had a voucher for afternoon tea but we're made to pay £2 despite the voucher still being within the expiry time. My general experience of using a voucher for an experience that is pre purchased is that you get that experience if used before it expires. There was no monetary amount labelled on the voucher. We argued this case and the staff wouldn't budge on us paying this menial amount. For us, it was the principle of the matter. It left us feeling this place would rather take £2 than give us a flawless normal experience. If the voucher had said an amount or had terms and conditions stating if the price increases you have to pay extra (which would be cringey!) we would recognise we need to top it up, but having it as a voucher for two afternoon teas I have never in my 43 years on the planet had to sub in money for an experience. Most, if not all businesses would in good faith let £2 go recognising that we had a voucher that hadn't expired yet. As a result the service felt amaeteur-ish, because this was bizarre, as well as the bizarre response over the directions being wrong.
Having said these niggles, I have already recommended this place to all my fellow Gluten free friends as the food was absolutely amazing!! Well done chefs.

Visited the Leicester branch after reading they have extensive gluten free options, this is in fact a stretch of the imagination. The only gluten free options are in the make it yourself range, the choice of one base, vegan/gluten free waffle, around 4 of their drip sauces, also around 4 of the toppings and around 5 choices of gf ice-cream, despite them advertising gluten free pancakes on their website (these are not available) we asked a server about why they'd advertise gf pancakes but not have them and he stood looming over us demanding to see proof on the Internet as it is misadvertising.
We were served by around 3 different wait staff, most of whom looked quite miserable, the lady who brought our dessert out put the non gluten free plate in front of the coeliac member of our party and had no idea whether it was the gluten free plate or not. Another member of staff had to be asked and then informed us that it wasn't the gluten free dessert.
During eating our dessert we were asked three times if everything was OK with it, while we were trying to eat.
One girl behind the drinks counter had a dirty bandage wrapped around her little finger with no blue plaster or glove protecting it.
The dessert itself was delicious, however £16 for a waffle, two scoops of gelato, drizzle and a topping is quite expensive.
Our service charge was waived because obviously it was known that the experience we had was not the experience Haute Dolci promise.
Sadly cannot recommend this place to coeliacs as the options are not great and the servers are not trained in allergy management therefore mistakes and cross contamination is possible.

My wife and I enjoyed a food and wine pairing experience at Veeno's, on Sunday lunch time. We were advised by Hardeep, a member of staff, (who was patient and friendly), to eat cheese, salami, olives and fruit, and drink (one at a time) from four glasses of red wine, which complimented and enhanced the food selection. The food was delicious, as was the wine. Gluten free bread was provided for my wife who is a Coeliac. The premises were very well decorated and furnished, there was a good atmosphere in the premises, and there was plenty of pay-as-you-go car parking nearby. The toilets were clean and tidy. This was a lovely experience, and is recommended to other customers.
