1st time visiting but certainly wont be the last. Food was absolutely delicious, and practically everything had a gluten free alternative which as a coeliac is a dream come true.
Staff were friendly and attentive, couldnt fault a thing.
Fabulous menu, especially as whole menu is gluten & dairy free (which i am). Food was incredible. Service was a little slow, we also had to move tables. Would definitely go back again.

First time at the Cosy Club with my wife and not dissapointed.
Polite and efficient service.
Amazing interior of this former bank.
I had the fish gougon sandwich and my wife had the burger. Reasonable size with fries. Menu caters well for gluten free diners.
Lunch for 2 with tea was £36.
Will be back.
*THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE TAKEAWAY SERVICE ONLY* We started ordering from Namaste several years ago when I became coeliac, and they were the only place that provided safe Indian food in central Norwich. The food itself is generally lovely, super high quality and very tasty- although as a warning even the lowest spice level is quite high coming from someone with a medium tolerance for heat.
However the true disappointing thing about Namaste is its takeaway service. Pretty much every time we order from here there is an item missing from the order (breads, rice, sometimes a curry dish). If there isn't an item missing, the order is late. Not ten or twenty minutes late, generally well over an hour late, to the point where the food is arriving well into the evening and generally stone cold. On each occasion it is late, we phone up to ask where it is and get told "it'll be a few minutes", or fobbed off in some other way, and lo and behold no food arrives. Utterly disappointing service. Refunds and compensation are generally not offered either.
Again, this is just a review for the takeaway service, and as I gather eating in the restaurant itself is a much better experience. If you're looking for high quality Indian takeaway in Norwich, take your money elsewhere.
Went for dinner with some colleagues at Zizzi Norwich. I am vegan (due to allergies) and gluten intolerant. I checked the allergen guide/menu well in advance and saw multiple options I could have including a pizza, 2 pasta dishes, sweet potato fries, regular fries, and strawberry sorbet. My group of colleagues very kindly selected this restaurant due to the number of options apparently available to me which was very kind of them. On entering the restaurant, we were asked for any allergies and I advised I am vegan + gluten free and was told this was no issue at all and reassured. I ordered the vegan non-gluten margherita pizza, to then be told there’s no vegan cheese so this was not possible. I then asked for one of the vegan non-gluten pasta dishes, and was told there’s no gluten free pasta so neither were possible. I then asked for the sweet potato fries, and was told this was not possible either. The waiter then advised they would give me 2 portions of regular fries at no charge which was kind. These portions, while doubled and very tasty, were still quite small and not filling at all while surrounded by people with good portioned meals. We also asked for a jug of water for the table when we ordered drinks and did not receive this, so had to ask again when we ordered desserts. For dessert, I spotted that the strawberry sorbet was suitable for me without needing any adjustments, so I ordered 2 scoops. My colleague sat next to me ordered the same for dessert and the same number of scoops, however when the bill came we saw that she was charged less for the same product, and mine said vegan sorbet, even though the strawberry sorbet was vegan anyway. Initially I thought I had been charged for an extra scoop by accident, but saw the bill listed 2 scoops so the number was correct, so I was being charged the price of 3 scoops for the exact same (no adjustments) product as someone else because there was an awareness of my allergies. It is already embarassing enough attending social food events, and I never expect people to cater to my dietary needs because I know it is difficult, but to be advertised multiple products and reassured on entry, for almost none of these to be available, and then charged extra for the same product as someone else when it did not even need to be adjusted is unacceptable and was incredibly embarrassing. I know I could have challenged the bill before leaving, but I was so embarrassed and let down by the whole evening that was meant to be a special employment anniversary event for my colleagues, that I just paid it on the QR code so I could leave as quickly as possible. I am not one to make complaints ever, and my dietary needs are my own issue and nobody else’s, but if you can’t provide a service, don’t advertise it, so that people with dietary requirements have a chance to find an alternative place to go. The staff were very kind and apologetic, but unfortunately that does not stop me going hungry, so would like to leave this review in hope this changes in future and that dietary needs alternatives are kept stocked, and as a heads up to other people with dietary needs that this may not be the best place to go.
I was extremely pleased to find all pizzas could be offered gluten free/dairy free. This is usually very rare when eating out. So 10 out of 10 for Pizza Express
Visited ASK today to celebrate father's day and had a very pleasant experience, our waitress Zara was an amazing host, very attentive and accommodating to my mum's gluten intolerance. My mum was very happy with the gluten free menu which had loads of options, and the food was delicious. Shoutout to Hamish as well, who was also incredibly helpful. Overall a great experience, would definitely go again! Thank you both :)
My favorite Thai takeaway. Because I’m celiac I have a hard time eating out, especially Thai food. Take Thai makes most their dishes gluten free and you can’t even tell! My favorite dish is the duck with fried rice, and the banana fritters. Always comes hot when I get it, and very generous portions. Highly recommend.
My favourite place for pizza, their gluten free one is soooo good! 10/10
The staff are so friendly too, I can't recommend this place enough.
(and they sell pocket coffee, which is an extra bonus)
Impeccable service, and TONS of gluten free options. Really impressed by the range available. However was a little disappointed by the food as it was a little bland - was expecting a little more flavour, tried all dishes we ordered and honestly each one was really lacking something.
Beautifully presented, and fast to arrive. Definitely book ahead as it gets busy.
If you like the spice and flavour of thai food, this isn’t for you I’m afraid, but the less brave person will find this a gentle and tame, but enjoyable, culinary experience.

I love this pizza hut, service is always speedy and the servers are very helpful, always willing to sort me a separate salad due to a gluten allergy and the risk of cross contamination 👍
Brilliant place, food is lovely and having a gluten intolerance doesn’t affect it either as they a brilliant selection of gluten free alternatives, waitresses are lovely, the one that helped us I didn’t get a name but she was brilliant, very helpful polite and friendly etc. awesome place
The BEST gluten free and dairy free battered sausage and chips. An amazing selection of gluten free and vegan options, proper Cumberland sausages. The gluten free + dairy free battered sausage was better than any I have had previously when I was not gluten free! Very knowledgeable staff helped me out with what I can have with my allergies. Excellent value too as usually free from items are extortionate but these were all priced at a normal rate.
Absolutely loved it here!
So many gluten free options, coeliac friendly, and all food was vegan but didn’t even think about it, it was so good! I was kinda expecting pizza for ‘slice’ and dice so it was a surprise to be plant-based but I was really impressed with the options. The aubergine rice bowl was so good, I definitely recommend that.
It was £4.50 per person for 4 hours, unfortunately I booked at 7pm online and didn’t realise it closed at 10pm so only got 3 hours, but still had a great time trying some new games. Tiny Towns was a personal favourite, as I like a puzzle game, also enjoyed Shoot for the Stars which is a guessing trivia kind of game.
The staff here are amazing, super friendly, great with suggestions for games and helping you get started with new ones - it can be a bit daunting looking at the instructions and not knowing where to start but they were super happy to help.
Their mint tea was fresh mint and that was lovely and refreshing. Also they were very reassuring and knowledgeable on food options. We felt very well looked after.
It was very relaxed and chilled out, and I thoroughly enjoyed an evening here - look forward to coming back again soon and trying some more games!
yesterday we came here for the first time.
we also came with a friends we arrived at around 1:30 and were still there at 3pm.
my yongest daughter had the chicken ramen on the childrens menu and my older daughter had the yaki soba i am the only 1 who was not ill beacuse i ordered gluten free. my friend also had the yaki soba
they both shared thier meals(my daughters and my friend also tried my younger daughters food)
and when we got home my youngest daughter started feeling realy ill and around 6-7 she was vominting alot. then my older daughter started vomiting at 1 in the morning. this went on till about 5 in the morning.
they both have high temperatures and my younger daughter even had diarreah.
my friend also vomited and she had diarreah.
i had to contact my gp and report this becasue they were so unwell, everything they drank and ate today the just vomited it, the gp said that this was food poisoning and it will take them 2-3 days to recover.
Intimate atmosphere; the decaf cappuccino was excellent, served in a vintage mug, and we shared a main dish charred cauliflower, fig, and spiced turnip purée with chili honey and walnuts. Gluten free friendly. Nice staff.
Mixed. I’ve had some great food here, but I’ve also been given gluten (despite saying coeliac when ordering) - was replaced, but has left me really mistrustful.
It gets quite busy too, so expect a long wait at peak times.
Brilliant food and great service. I am gluten intolerant and the waitress went through the whole menu and explained what was gluten free and what could be made gluten free (pretty much everything), and brought gluten free soy sauce. We had the sushi lover's two tier dish with some adjustments to make it gluten free and it was really good, as well as onigiri and mochi.
Great burger with tasty Gluten Free bun & plenty of GF options.
Was disappointed the fry’s weren’t GF but they jacket potato was very tasty.
Great BBQ sauce on the Rock House burger👌
A great cafe that was open pre 9am on a Saturday - always a bonus. The food was really lovely, and there was a very good selection, with gluten free options, which is always nice. The coffee was excellent too and the cakes were really lovely too. They're dog friendly too, so for us on our brief dog centred trip to Norwich, we couldn't ask for anything more.
Wow, been meaning to go here for ages…what a lovely cafe! The atmosphere and feel of the cafe was homely and friendly. Service was fab, attentive and welcoming. Menu was great and catered to gluten free very well. Breakfast was well cooked, good quality and big!! Will definitely be back.
Charli was absolutely amazing. The gluten free food was really good and charli was very accommodating to my allergy. Would definitely recommend the bottomless brunch
Went here for my birthday and was the best steak I’ve eaten, They catered for me who suffers with gluten and dairy so made the experience even better,
Would definitely come back.
Welcoming professional staff, in particular Ali and Joel. The food was delicious and the gluten free options are not second rate or an after thought like many restaurants.
Splendid drinks menu as well!!
Came here for my Birthday with my partner and we were blown away.
First the decor was stunning and interesting, the tiling and the proper oven caught my eye when I walked in. Then a water fountain attached to the wall which was actually a beer tap!
We were served by Ben who was the most accommodating to my dietary requirements and happily answered any questions I had. The chefs also managed to make my favourite Turkish liver dish to order so I could enjoy it without gluten. It’s the little things!
Cocktails were great too, my partner is particular about his old fashioned’s and he loved it.
The atmosphere was warm, friendly and I have the say the music was on point.
We can’t wait to visit again and already telling all our friends from Cambridge about it. We’ll see you guys soon!
An amazing place, we had lunch on the outside terrace and it was great. The food was attractively presented and very tasty. We had the fixed price menu and we were not disappointed either by the quality or the portion size. My wife has coeliac disease and they were very aware of this and made it very clear her food was gluten free.
The views of the cathedral are brilliant and the vertical planters and waterfalls on one wall add to the experience.
Our server was very friendly, absolutely no complaints, I’d definitely go back.
Friendly helpful staff. Nice carvery meal apart from the gluten free yorkshire pudding who ever idea it was to change to that was definitely a bad 1. Sooner you go back to how they were originally the better.

I am coeliac, and pizza express is a trusted venue for me to choose to eat gluten free. Whilst I understand that there is always never an 100% guarantee food can be coeliac safe, I came in a couple weeks ago and ordered the gf dough balls, after telling my waitress that I was coeliac. The dough balls arrived, but did not look the same and weren’t the same consistency as the gluten free dough balls I usually receive when coming to pizza express. These were too bready, and really had me worried that they were accidentally the non gluten free ones. I asked the waitress to just confirm that they were gluten free, after already taking a bite, and she worryingly assured me that they were. Later that evening when I got home, I had a coeliac flare up, and a really really bad reaction to the dough balls, which I am almost 100% sure were not gluten free. As every other occasion when I have eaten the gluten free dough balls here, I do not have a reaction. I understand it is hard when the restaurant is busy to keep on top of these things. But this is a medical condition and not a choice, I would love to talk further on this.
Visited on Saturday 22nd February 2024. Was served by Ludo who was so attentive and ensured all our food was gluten free. The food was delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the food wasn’t hot but it definitely wouldn’t prevent us visiting again.
As a vegan (and gluten intolerant) I was catered for efficiently, professionally and with no "drama"!
The meal, service and atmosphere, were perfect.
Thankyou. I shall highly recommend The Ivy, Norwich, Brasserie, to family and friends, also to work colleagues.
Excellent vegan food that can be adapted to gluten free easily. friendly staff and very fair price for healthy, ethical and tasty food. Would highly recommend.
Visited nandos for the first time as someone who cannot have gluten. The member of staff who seated us was extremely knowledgeable and reassuring about gluten free food (though it isn't on the menu). The food was really tasty. A fab visit!
A party of 5 of us and nobody left disappointed. One of us is coeliac (no gluten) but was well catered for with plenty of choice. Good service and would definitely go back.
Could not fault this place, the interior was beautiful and the cocktails were something else. Had such a wonderful 20th birthday here. So many options to choose from for both drinks and food. Even caters for gluten free which was perfect for one of my friends. The staff were on point with the service and also were very friendly . Would recommend 100x 💖
Great atmosphere, there is also a local cat that comes and visit who is super friendly and lovely.
They were really good about allergies and double checked each item to make sure nothing would affect my partner who is both gluten and dairy intolerant.
Also huge portions! So plenty to take home at the end.
Lovely cafe, extensive breakfast and brunch options with clearly labelled allergens and veggie, vegan, or gluten free options available for almost everything. Alternative milk options for coffee too!
Dogs allowed inside and out, and a sunny outdoor terrace!
