Restaurant was clean. The waitstaff was helpful and patient as we had never been there before. The food was good; we ordered fries, two different wraps, a hog boss, a sandwich, and a burger. We also ordered onion rings, they werenât the best-a little soggy (gluten and gluten free eaters all agreed), but everything else was great! Five people ate lunch for about $100 and we were full. Would definitely eat there again if in the area.
I have a hard time finding gluten-free, dairy-free food. Ima Noodles checked all the boxes for me! Not only was it delicious but it was healthy and pleasing to the eye. One of my new favorite places!đ
Firstly- it is just wonderful to have a place that has gluten free fried food. A real treat for those of us with celiac disease. Secondly, my husband loved his regular (not GF) chicken tenders salad. It was huge and he said the chicken was delicious. Lastly, I wish I could rate the GF food higher. I had the 4 piece chicken tenders meal with coleslaw as my side. The coleslaw was fresh, but very basic. It would be better with more zing- maybe just more vinegar? The chicken was hot, crispy, moist and tender and the tenders were big. I could eat only two of them. But again the flavor was a bit underwhelming. The GF flour coating needs to be seasoned with far more spices. The standard mixture of seasonings for fried chicken is paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano and cayenne along with salt and pepper. I did not taste anything but salt and pepper. Please consider adjusting the recipe. Overall, pretty good but it could be better.
Wonderful food and atmosphere! Friendly and attentive staff! They can cater to those with gluten allergies (like myself) very well. I only had some Mac n cheese and veggies but it was very good and I'll be back to try dessert (bc they have gluten free dessert options)! The homemade chips are the best chips I have EVER had! I am going back to grab a bag for my husband (bc you can order them to go)! I will say that the presentation was nothing special for my dish but others had meals like looked amazing on the plate. But the food does speak for itself! Charming and delicious!

The food is so good!! I went with a friend and we got the peanut stew, bean stew and rice, akasa, and the fufu. It was my first time having fufu I loved it!! Tastes similar to mashed potatoes, next time I go Iâll get that with the peanut stew, they went together so well. My friend is vegan and gluten free and hates having to be the picky one asking questions, but the server was super polite and answered all the questions we had about the ingredients. They have enough vegan and gluten free options to satisfy that crowd, even though they donât advertise it. My only suggestion would be to add vegan/gluten free symbols to the menu so people donât have to ask, or worse, not order yâallâs delicious food bc they arenât sure and donât want to ask! Already craving another peanut stew and fufu!!! Thank you!!
Iâve been wanting to go here for quite some time and finally was in the area and stopped by. Absolutely amazing food, we had a variety of the empanadas but honestly I canât wait to go back again and try some other menu items. Itâs hard to find decent gluten free restaurants, this one far exceeded my expectations.

The Detroit pizza with old and new world pepp was unbelievable! Zesty sauce but nothing that led to heartburn or bothered the kids. This is the best pizza i have ever had thats more deep dish in last 12 yrs since celiac! Super fun vibey place! And incredibly reasonable. Get 4 slices for gf and i coupd only eat 2 fyi. The family salad with homemade ranch is the BEST!!
This place is amazing! My server Paulina was super nice and helpful! The drinks were great and the food was amazing. So cheap for food of such amazing quality, I will definitely be back! Also I noticed they had quite a few gluten free menu items!
First time going, and I did not make a reservation. We were able to snag two seats at the bar after about 30 minutes. Definitely recommend making a reservation, if you can. The service was great! The server was very friendly. The gluten-free pancakes were awesome! I got the half size, which was definitely enough food.
Was excited to try the Chicago Deep Dish Gluten Free. Toppings were wonderful. The crust however was so hard, I struggled cutting pieces and eating it. Also had the White Pizza Regular Crust Gluten Free. The crust was to gummy for my taste. Sadly, will not be eating here again.
Safest place around for those of us with celiac disease. Tons of gluten free options with safety precautions in place. I eat here all the time without getting sick. Large variety of items on the menu.
Bugs Lora has some of the best gluten free and dairy free pizza Iâve ever had. Their staff is friendly. My only complaint is that their take out service is not the same quality as their dining in. Often times, there are less toppings, toppings/cheese is not evenly spread out, and in several occasions our pizza wasnât even cut! I hope they improve their take out!
Gluten free pizza was AMAZING 𤊠I believe is the best GF crust that Iâve had in a long time. Iâm more than happy, the place is cool and waitress are very nice.
An incredible dining experience. Super high quality food and great atmosphere. We sat at the chefs counter and our server, Ryan, was fantastic - both attentive and kind. Incredibly accommodating to food allergies, we had a lot of options and a great gluten free meal.
We were blown away with the quality! Super delicious. TONS of gluten free options!! We got a gf charcuterie board and dip for ~$50, which I think is fair for the quality.
This place was poppinâ on the Saturday of July 4th weekend. The line was to the door during heavy rains but the staff was well-oiled and kept the pies coming at a fast tick.
The pizza and garlic breadsticks are incredible. Got to go Old World Style if youâre dining here. Would revisit in a heartbeat!
Note: they do have vegan and gluten-free accommodations as well. A+
Best Pizza in Detroit! The gluten free pizza is hands down the best we've had in North America! Such a great crust! Amazing quality on toppings and the guys running the place and cooking the pizza's are world class, Thanks to the team at M&T you guys are killing it ,Cheers!
I doordashed one of the lettuce wraps and it is amazing!!! I recently became gluten & dairy free and this place has plenty of options. Will be back. :)
âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ I wish I could give The Filling Station more than five stars!
As someone recently diagnosed with Celiac disease, Iâve developed a deep appreciation for restaurants that truly understand food allergies and an even deeper disappointment with how rare that is. The Filling Station is a breath of fresh air.
They take gluten intolerance seriously, with completely separate prep areas and dedicated gluten-free fryers. Itâs not just lip service theyâve clearly invested the time and effort to make dining safe and enjoyable. On top of that, they offer seed oil-free options and cook their hand-cut fries in tallow. Everything we had was absolutely delicious.
A special shoutout to our server, Canaan, who was not only friendly and attentive but went out of his way to let me know he could offer tips and guidance when I mentioned I was newly navigating Celiac. That kind of care and knowledge makes all the difference.
Whether youâre managing food allergies or just looking for a great meal, The Filling Station is worth the visit.
Came in to order takeout for lunch yesterdayâ Molly killed it! She had to balance the floor (which had a 40+ party in one room alone), the bar, AND takeout. Food was well worth the wait; as a plus, the gluten-free substitutes were high quality.
We have dined in many times and ordered take out. Lots and lots of gluten free options! I love getting the Caesar Salad with Crispy Tenders!! They have a dedicated gluten free fryer.
This is a great spot with a lot of options. Itâs hard to find gluten-free options in the UP, but they had gluten-free bread with vegan options. They made sure to ask what my dietary restrictions were so they could prepare the food separately. Highly recommend. There is a very fun book selection, too.

Chartreuse was an excellent dining experience. I ate with a large work group, and everything was spectacular. From the entrees to the salads and desserts, everything was delicious with unique options and good flavors. It was also able to accommodate celiac gluten free and vegan options for our groups. I highly recommend their Mocktails and homemade cola.
A couple months ago, I ordered the Ewok with a gluten-free bun and it was great. However, I should complain about how customers were poorly informed about the temporary closure. I was planning to celebrate my birthday today with family, and I did not know until now that the place is closed. It was only clarified on Facebook but not on Instagram or their own website. I was so confused because their website's hours did not align with their Google page which showed they are closed. Two Beards needs to better at informing their customers on important updates.
My first time eating here was over the weekend and I regret not eating here sooner. I have celiac disease and trying new restaurants is scary. When I mentioned that my food and our appetizers needed to be made gluten free, the waiter asked if it was due to celiac disease. I think my face went red from how excited I was. The fact he knew what celiac disease was made my anxiety melt away instantly. We got the pizza appetizer and I got the fettuccine alfredo with chicken. We also got the gluten free bread (which was soft and amazing)! It was the most delicious Italian food I have ever eaten. And it was gluten free!
I think this will be our new birthday, anniversary, celebration dining place. The food was amazing and my family loves Italian food. I am ecstatic that I have found a safe, delicious, and gluten free friendly Italian restaurant.
Ottava Via in Detroitâs Corktown is a cozy Italian spot with a rustic vibe and friendly staff. The brick oven pizzas are a hitâespecially the Funghi and Margheritaâand the garlic shrimp appetizer is a must-try. They offer gluten-free pasta options at no extra charge, which is a nice touch. The outdoor patio with bocce ball courts and fire pits adds a fun twist. Service is generally great, though it can get busy on weekends, so plan ahead. Overall, a solid choice for a relaxed night out.
