They were stellar from the moment we walked in. They had my mind at ease immediately assuring me they donβt even bring gluten into the building. The food was amazing it felt like a 5 star dining experience. The whole menu being gluten free and without worries of cross contamination it was a fantastic experience with food and service. I will be returning for all of my events worth celebrating. Not to mention a full side menu of mocktails π
Lots of healthy options. I tried their sausage biscuit and Cyprus side salad. The biscuit was good but the salad was stellar! So fresh and delicious. The dressing so light and flavorful. They had lots of gluten free and vegan options. Enjoyed the inside, very warm and inviting.
Our waiter was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions due to celiac disease. He provided a gluten-free menu and ensured that the kitchen was aware of her needs. He made excellent wine recommendations and checked in on us throughout the meal to ensure we were enjoying our experience.
As for the food, we were blown away by how delicious and beautifully presented each dish was. The shishito peppers were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of salt to complement their savory flavor. The calamari was tender and flavorful. The mussels were plump and juicy, and the broth was rich and flavorful. The scallop ceviche was a standout dish, with fresh, bright flavors and delicate textures.
For dessert, we couldn't resist trying the creme de catalan, which was a perfect ending to the meal. We paired it with a scoop of almond and floral ice cream, which was rich and creamy, and a glass of sherry that added a lovely depth of flavor. Despite the restaurant being a bit noisy, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the meal.
The restaurant's cozy and intimate atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience, and we look forward to returning. Highly recommend!
Gonna have to rate this lower until I get a response. Ordered the asiago chicken, fries, and French onion -all gluten free with listed allergies. I didnt have the soup last night and have had severe diarrhea, bloating and gas all day. Typical from eating gluten for me and last up to 1-2 weeks. I can only assume it was in fact the Asiago chicken. I rarely eat outside of my comfort spots because of this so im gonna have to recommend you steer clear if you are Celiac, GF, or have any allergies. If you cant guarantee the surface or utensils havent been contaminated, don't use them or don't make the product. I would rather have the items docked and refunded than go through this.
It has been a while since we visited Taste. Historically have had good service but today even though we clearly stated gluten free due to allergy there was a croton in my wife salad and she got cross contaminated. I took the salad to the staff and they offered to make it again. The second salad had other items not Gluten-free. Very disappointed as they used to have dedicated station for making Gluten-free orders.
We were there Dec.8th,Sunday 6:30pm. As soon as we stood to order, no one recognized our presence. The guy and lady just went on with what theyβre doing. Not busy, itβs just us waiting. 2 people seated. They couldβve at least say, Weβll be with you or something. Instead, they just made us wait for about 3mins. We ordered Bacon and brie pasta which is the only one thatβs ok thatβs why I gave a 2 star. The Supreme pizza and a gluten-free pizza are so dry and tasteless. This is also the dirtiest location weβve been to. I hope the owner/manager will address the performance of their staff. The attitude they reflected shows that theyβre not happy with what they do.
This place was absolutely amazing! The gluten free bread was so good! The fries were amazing and served in a huge portion which was great for sharing! Would highly recommend eating here if you are near Norfolk area.
I've been to No Frill a few times, but not in a couple of years. I asked for a GF menu and chose the Salmon Salad (choice of blackened or smoked). THANK GOODNESS for our server! He informed me that most of their proteins are marinated in a mixture that contains soy sauce -- traditional sauce is made with wheat! Why is that not notated on the GF menu? Our server was celiac aware, thankfully! I had to choose the smoked salmon. The salad was good, but our server was the best, and I really wish I had gotten his name! Of you are celiac or GF, be aware their GF menu may not be totally GF. Be sure to ask!
Went there on my honeymoon and just recently made it back after 15 years. Same great food and service. They are great with gluten free options and this time we brought the kids and they enjoyed it as well!
What a fabulous place!!! Not only is the food great, and it includes lots of Gluten-free options, the people are amazing--particularly Shauna-the owner/gallery manager, and Willow. They have painting opportunities/relaxing and a gallery for artists to exhibit. What a great vibe!!!
Having worked in both coffee and customer service before, I can truly say that Cafe Stella's is a gem anywhere and a staple in Norfolk. My friends and I celebrated a birthday at Stella's tonight, and happened to interact with both of the owners. It warmed my heart to see a business where the owners are so hands on in leading their staff and making a difference in the community. I learned that the cafe offers gluten free options and has a special order bakery. I can't wait to try their gluten free baked goods during my next visitβif they're anything like the espresso, I know they'll be delicious. Thank you for hosting me and my friends!

Went to Saffron Bistro for date night last night. The food is incredible, the restaurant is spotless, and the the staff is welcoming and attentive. I have celiac and was so pleased that the majority of the menu is gluten free. Our servers were very kind and didnβt mind double checking for me that the items I ordered were gluten free. Canβt wait to go back!
The food is delicious and they have good gluten free options. I appreciate the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Their portions are large; come hungry!

My family came to celebrate a birthday. My son has a food allergy. The server Carson told me that they couldn't do anything to accommodate my son, and this is a seafood restaurant. I said to Carson we go to many seafood restaurants like captain George and they accommodate us.So I asked for the manager. The manager which informed me that the owners daughter has celiac and they use the over for her so I was like please do that for my son.
Omg best ever! They were constantly changing gloves. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and was so happy that I had gluten-free options. The fries were amazing and the Turkish coffee was spot on!
Good googly moogly this place has great food. And an entire vegan menu if you like me crave vegan food other than veggie burgers you love a good falafel and addicted to good hummus. Come here immediately. PS they also have a vegan and gluten-free brownie. I wanted to order everything on the menu and I think I did.
Very good vegan selection including mayonnaise with its own menu, and both the vegan shrimp and lobster are gluten free. They have tamari (gluten free soy sauce), and the wasabi is real (very spicy!) and gluten free. Other vegan options include a tofu steak and even ramen.
Please note the miso soup and starter salad are NOT gluten-free.
Very good service and the staff are knowledgeable about ingredients. They have a nice sushi bar with trained sushi chefs and optional traditional seating, though I wouldn't recommend it for anyone taller than 6'2".
Would love to come here again.
A great find. The pizzas are perfect. In fact the gluten free one my friend let me taste was practically indistinguishable from the regular pizza I had. Prices were very reasonable. Staff were very friendly. My go to in Norfolk.
Longtime fans, but this experience was alarming.
My husband and I have eaten here many times and it used to be our favorite pizza spot. Last night, we ordered our usual: pepperoni pizzas for us, the Maddy for my mom, and a gluten-free veggie pizza for our friend.
Not long after eating, my husband and I both became extremely sick. I was vomiting for hours, and he followed shortly after. Initially, we thought it mightβve been the pepperoni, but after some process of elimination, we realized my mom (who only had cheese) also ended up vomiting later in the night. Our friend, who had the gluten-free crust and no cheese, was totally fine. His was completely vegan.
So now weβre thinking it couldβve been the cheese, or possibly the dough, since those of us who got sick all had the same regular crust.
Weβve always loved this place, but this was a scary and disappointing experience. Sadly, we wonβt be back after this. Food safety just isnβt something weβre willing to risk.
The food was amazing and the service was superior. Dawn did an amazing job serving the guests. She is hilarious and makes fabulous recommendations. I didn't catch the bartender name but he was very funny and made excellent drinks. This place would make a great date night or hang out with friends. The menu is delicious and fun and has something for everyone. Vegan and gluten friendly items.
Delicious food and great service! The guys here are awesome - so friendly and genuine. I've yet to encounter any of them in a bad mood much less providing anything other than great service! If you have celiac disease it is safe to eat here! If you ask for a lettuce bun they always ask if you have an allergy and if so they take precautions to ensure no cross contamination. You can also eat the french fries!!! Love this place!!
Solo date at Press 626 Wine Bar. Hidden gem in Norfolk Downtown.
Craft cocktails and amazing food. Fresh βNon-alcoholic Cucumber Mint Fresh Squeezed Spritzerβ, βAustralian Lamb Chopsβ were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, gluten free and the miso tahini hummus with mint chimichurri that came with it was so tasty and of course I had to try their vegan βMezze Cheese Boardβ, as a cheese lover is mandatory!
Press 626 was amazing, great atmosphere, outstanding costumer service, my bartender Betti was super nice and welcoming. This place is very casual for a fancy place. Definitely recommend if you pass through Norfolk, I personally loved it.
Authentic Bengali family run restaurant serving up simple and homely Bangla food. We were here from Washington DC for a family vacation to Virginia Beach. It is a bit of a drive from the Boardwalk area but definitely worth the trip. Most Indian restaurants here in DC area tend to have a standardized menu of mass produced dishes that taste the same everywhere, Cilantro on the other hand is refreshingly original in its approach and flavor.
Their menu seems to change based on what they have fresh for the day and they run specials on a daily basis. Each meal is cooked by the owner herself and you can really feel the attention to the cooking. I caught a glimpse of the kitchen and was surprised to see how much it resembled a kitchen in a home rather than a restaurant.
The service was genuine, warm and friendly. Our waiter was one of the family members of the owner of the business and although young, was able to provide us great service and attention. He was very pleasant and made sure we were comfortable and well accommodated throughout out our time at the restaurant.
Coming to the most important aspect - the food is absolutely incredibly delicious and the best Bengali/Indian restaurant that we have been to. The servings are generous and the price is great for the quality and quantity of food you receive.
The most striking aspect for me was the honesty/simplicity of the preparations which I thought unlocked the flavors of the ingredients used - as opposed to an onslaught of spices that are the standard in most big city restaurants that we have gotten used to in DC.
We were served an appetizer of Chop, which was so delicious that we ended up getting everything they had for the day.
This place is also great for people with allergies. My nephews that have a myriad of allergies were able to eat everything in the menu with no problem. Great for people with peanut, nut or gluten allergies. If you have a lot of allergies or specific tastes, I would not hesitate to ask the cook for their suggestions and they will gladly give you their recommendation based on the day's menu.
We chose the Firni for dessert and it was amazing and was a fitting end to a delightful early dinner. Definitely going here again next time we are in town. I wish we discovered this gem earlier in our vacation so that we could have visited it multiple times.
It is great to be able to go to a well established restaurant like this and get a fast but good quality meal, And have it made gluten free! I love how their fixings bar always has such fresh food on it!
I have loved Razzo since their old location and family and friends have followed to their new location. If anything it has gotten better. The best thing for me is I have celiac disease (gluten free) and they have always taken care of me. Tonight I got the best tasting Veal Francese gluten free with no problems with the friendliest hostess and waitress. As a business owner myself I knew I needed to let them know how much my friend, son and I enjoyed the meal and will continue to come back as we have for years. Cheers!
Very nice experience this morning. Our server Tawanda was excellent! Fresh coffee, delicious eggs and gluten friendly pancakes (which were very good). Everyone was so happy and friendly.

Ordered pad Thai with chicken breast (meat cost extra).
Pad Thai was missing chicken, had a yellowed dehydrated lime wedge next to it, and doesn't seem traditional. Seems Americanized and very few gluten-free, dairy free options.
3.5/10, not impressed
First time coming to the shop at Premium Outlets. I got the steak and egg absolutely positively delicious! The two young ladies working very friendly and accommodating to my gluten free allergy (celiac). Jada and Tink really good hires great energy and vibes hire more people like them!!
So good. I did the grab and go and Iβm such a happy girl with the chicken salads here.
My only βwishβ is that they added a gluten free bread type option
Solo diner. Monday morning, and I was seated immediately. I like the look of blended old and new decor. I'm a gluten-free diner, so I ordered the steak burrito without a tortilla. It came out in a bowl, and even though the hash browns were on the bottom, they were still crispy! There was a good amount of steak on it, too! I brought my own coffee from my hotel, and they never said anything about it (win-win). There is a surcharge for using a credit card. Rashida is a delight! π
