Nice and knowledgeable staff! I have celiac and they reassured me that they have a totally separate kitchen!! Everything was good and 0 cross contamination
Phenomenal food and service, can’t say enough nice things about this place! Loved that the chicken pizza had a smoked option!
My dad had a gluten free sub with fries that he said was delicious, we will be back for sure!
I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! I am just passing through town and saw that it was highly recommended on the app and it absolutely did not disappoint… With the menu as robust as the cheesecake factory the fact that almost anything can be made gluten-free is it extremely impressive. I am celiac and tried the calamari and the lump crabcake dinner and it was absolutely delicious. No reaction! Highly recommend. I wish I could go back over and over to try just everything that was available gluten-free such as sandwiches, pizzas and burgers, along with a multitude of appetizers and other dishes.
The food and whole experience was like a spiritual experience!!
As a person with celiac disease I have one had fried chicken once and it was not anywhere close to being as delicious as the fried chicken sandwich I got here! I also got the fried provolone cheese wheel. YALL!!! 10/10. My gluten eating best friend was as blown away as I was! She said it was the best food PERIOD that she's had in a long time! Would recommend!!
It's so hard to find gluten free fried chicken, but love bird is amazing and knowledgeable on allergies! I live like 40 minutes away but it's worth it to me to get good gluten free food that I can trust. The Mac and cheese and onion rings are also very good. I need to try the fried pickles next time I go! The fact that everything aside from the bread is gluten free is really amazing. And usually that would make me nervous because cross contamination but everyone I've talked to at lovebird seems to be educated on food allergies and how to keep things safe. I love the popcorn chicken so much. I really can't recommend lovebird enough, thank you guys for giving me good gluten free fries chicken!
Ps, if you opened a location closer to Delco, I'd be there like once a week. I know other celiacs/gluten free people who'd love it too. Just something to consider:)
I’ve been ordering from Mandy’s for 7.5 years, since being diagnosed with celiac. Things have been wonky since ownership changed, but on 12/28/24 I called at 5:15pm and was told they were out of gluten free pizza shells for the evening. Sold out at 5pm on a Saturday? So I ordered a gf turkey hoagie, to which I was told that the owner had taken this item off the menu! What?? I was flabbergasted! This is not an unconventional item, it’s a turkey hoagie!
I continued my order of traditional food for the rest of my family, a pizza and two hoagies, and waited 55 minutes for them, even when the the girl answering phones was telling people 35 minutes(I know this because I stood in the restaurant for 20 mins waiting for my 3 items, since I arrived at the 35 minute mark.)
It was very disappointing, and I hope that the restaurant can stay true to the original owners dream of food for those of us will allergies and restrictions.
They take allergies and celiac very seriously here. Although the menu is not marked, you can ask them what is gluten-free. I'm majority of the entrées are. And they have a dedicated fryer and some of the best fries we have ever had. It is one of our go to places and we feel very safe coming here. They've got great protocols in place.
Solid burger place and the ice cream is good too, especially the peanut butter flavor. Friendly staff, good service. Just remember: cash only (I can only imagine how many times a day the guy taking the order has to break the news to customers as they stare back with a confused look on their face). Gluten free buns are a big plus!
Such incredibly good gluten-free food! My daughter, who is the one with celiac, was so excited to get the onion rings and gluten-free Oreo shake! My husband and I do not have to eat gluten-free and still got the gluten-free fried chicken and it was seriously some of the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life! Very, very tender. We drove 20 minutes out of our way to get here and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Wish we lived closer.
Went out of our way to eat here while traveling from PA to NY yesterday because of their dedicated GF fryer. The young lady at the counter was so friendly, and asked the kitchen for clarification about whether certain sauces were GF. The bites and fries were delicious!
Great experience! I wish I lived closer, because I absolutely would return here.
Without question, this is a top flight restaurant in Bucks county. It may even be one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve had in general.
The gluten free items are literally the best. Our daughter has Celiac disease and she feasted. My other daughter didn’t even know it was gluten free.
Support this local business! Outstanding!
We’re in town for a tournament and this place did not disappoint! I’m gluten intolerant, and the owner is also gf so I was able to enjoy Thai calamari, flatbreads, and crabcakes- all gluten free, AND my family (not gf) enjoyed it as well! Services was top notch, definitely coming back here when I’m in Hershey next!
The fries are great! And the lovebird special sauce was delicious! Chicken was also good! Only downside was the honey, it wasn’t great and I love honey on my chicken! But it’s a great place if you are gluten free
Wife and I love this place! She has Celiac disease and they are so accommodating there. Many GF options and she has never gotten sick. The food is always fresh and amazing, staff is always friendly, and the price is not crazy either. It is definitely a go to restaurant for us.
My fiance has Lupus and celiac disease and it's hard to find somewhere to eat other than home. A lot of places that do have a gluten free menu is cross contaminated. So it's nice to have somewhere that takes it serious when it comes to that process of preparing food that's gluten free. She said it tasted delicious.

Food, service and atmosphere were all great and my celiac daughter was well taken care of. I'm giving 3 stars because we went on mother's day and they were taking reservations. But the online wait-list nor anywhere else online that we saw said so. So we joined the wait-list which said 10-20 min but it was really 45min. They really needed to take the wait-list offline and post they are taken reservations for that day.
Edit:
Thanks for the response, good to see you pay attention to customer feedback, I gave you another star for the followup.
Went to Fat Head's for dinner and the GF Codfather didn’t disappoint, even threw in a gluten free Ghostfish Brewing Company beer. I can’t tell you the last time my wife had either of those out! She has celiac and is super sensitive and didn’t have any side effects, even today!!
A wide variety of food from Latin countries. However, I didn't see anything that reflected true Puerto Rican options. That was a disappointment. They have a few gluten free options and only one option for brunch. I'm not a fan of chipotle and wasn't in the mood for nachos for breakfast I just had rice and beans which were like warm not hot. It was almost cold. A huge turn off. I tried the yucca bowl that was good but had more cheese than yucca. The yucca fries were good but lacked a distinct flavor. I would have liked some adobo to give it more taste. Service was great. The environment is nice especially if you can eat outside. I will go back to try other things in the future and specify to warm the food.
Very average tasting food - kind of ironic when you see the name.
I appreciate them having gluten free option; I got a gluten free burger and I would say it’s what a burger from Applebees would taste like. Mashed potatoes were a little starchy.
My dad and I both have celiac disease, so finding a safe place where we can enjoy food without fear has been a huge challenge. The Flying V has exceeded all expectations.
The kitchen isn’t “100% certified gluten free” since they do have items on the menu that contain gluten, I have not once experienced cross-contamination symptoms as a very symptomatic celiac. They’re incredibly accommodating and staff is very knowledgeable. There’s also an option when ordering to state you have a gluten allergy!
I’ve been going here for a little over 3 years now (my husband and I make the hour long drive about twice a month) and it’s been worth it every single time.
Jennelle was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu! She went above and beyond during our dining experience. I appreciate that red robin has gluten free buns and impossible burgers. 10/10 service - always look forward to going when I'm in the area
Was greeted enthusiastically by the hostess who wished us a happy anniversary. ( We made reservations through Open Table which asked for birthdays and anniversary dates,,). Our server was very helpful in suggesting gluten free options for my wife. He also wished us a happy anniversary. Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Will visit the cranberry location.
One of my favorite pizza places. I have Celiac disease and ate delicious pizza that was safe with no cross contact! This place is sooooo good i had a dream about their pizza after eating it.
Very friendly staff, gluten-free buns, and the whole fryer is gluten-free! We really enjoyed the burgers. We had a gluten-free one and a lettuce wrap, the fries were good, the onion rings were OK, just don’t get a shake since it’s not a designated machine and may have cross contamination. Definitely going back again though!
My husband and I ate lunch here today and we couldn’t say enough good things about this place! I have a gluten allergy. Our waitress Bella made sure to answer all my questions about how the kitchen cooks their food. They have a separate fryer for their French fries so I was able to get them and they were delicious!! I got a regular burger on a gluten free bun (Udis) and it was the best burger I have had in a very long time! My husband got a bacon burger on a pretzel bun and he loved his as well! The service was great, the atmosphere was enjoyable and the food was outstanding! I did not get sick from anything as far as my gluten allergy and feel very safe dining there now. They have a separate gluten free menu. Will definitely be visiting again soon and telling our friends about it!
Ps. Make sure to try the bacon aioli sauce!
I was here a few days ago. They give the table complimentary tater tots fried in a dedicated GF fryer. They’re SO GOOD! They have a GF menu. I had the flatbread and it was delicious!
The greeting from the front end left a lot to be desired. Somewhere between barely acknowledged and annoyed. But the server was really nice and attentive.
I’d go back for the food, but the front end (greeter) needs some work.
The food is standard bar fare, but it's done well. I have celiac disease, and I love knowing this is a super safe place to get food is so nice! They cater to a gluten-free diet really well, and are even aware about the potential issue with shared fryers. And the gluten free buns are the best I've had!
The staff are very knowledgeable about gluten, cross contact, and celiac! (I’ve heard that the owner has celiac.) Great food, lots of GF options, the menu is well-labeled, and the atmosphere is great (indoor and outdoor seating)! They also have delicious GF desserts. This restaurant is my go-to.
This is the highest rating I have ever given a Red Robin. Generally our experiences have been horrible. This trip was a new location and surprisingly only moderately lousy. I had swore I would never go back EVER but alas Ruby Tuesday has not reopened their salad bar in Easton so we opted for bottomless fries. Our first round of fries was cold, and my son was served a hamburger on a bun when we ordered a gluten free burger with no bun. I needed to remind our server about the sauce and over the course of almost an hour he didn't refill even one drink. First of all I don't think I should need to ask for a refill of all our fries and frankly at this volume they should never be cold. But I needed to ask for the fry refills and since I was drinking water I didn't notice that everyone else had empty cups.... Again this is something our server should have taken care of. Overall not great but not as bad as past experiences in Warrington.
I wish there was a HipCityVeg where I lived! I always try to get lunch here when I visit family in the area. The food is *so* good! They even have gluten free options!!
We ate at The Boat House on 12/31/24 with a party of 10 people. My wife has a Gluten Allergy, and we found The Boat House on a Gluten Free restaurant app. The Boat House gets good reviews on the app, but we were informed that the restaurant is under new ownership. My wife ordered the Caprese sandwich on a gluten free bun. She asked the server to replace the fries with a Ceasar salad without croutons since the fries are not done in a separate fryer. The server was informed that my wife has a severe allergy. Upon receiving the meal my wife was informed that the kitchen was able to make the fries in new oil before it was contaminated with gluten. After comparing the bun that my wife's sandwich came on and other buns at the table, my wife questioned if the bun she received was actually gluten free. The server assured her that it was and that she triple checked with the kitchen. We asked her to check again. She did and then came back saying that we were right and that they would remake the sandwich. The server informed us that a manager assembled the sandwich on the line and did not read the tickets note about the Gluten allergy. My wife did not take a bite of the sandwich before asking. The server came back a few minutes later with what appeared to be a remade sandwich, and no fries on the plate. Following the meal my wife has had a severe gluten reaction. She has been in a lot of pain since eating at the restaurant and it is now 3 days later. We don't know what part of her meal caused the reaction, but we do know it was something she ate at the restaurant. I have doubts that the reaction is just from the fries touching the regular bun because usually her reaction is not this severe. I am guessing the fries she was served were not gluten free as promised.
