Amazing gluten free options! And not just a bun substitute or fries - (although the fries were pretty tasty- bonus that they have a dedicated gluten free fryer!) I tried the gluten free fish and chips as well as the fried calamari and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the batter was. The tartar sauce was delicious- not sweet, very tangy which I love! And the calamari was cooked perfectly- delicate texture and not a single piece was rubbery! The fish was crispy on the outside and wonderfully flaky on the inside. Will definitely be back to try their gluten free fried chicken sandwich next!!!
It's great to have a place that has fried chicken and sauces that are gluten-free. The portions are good, too.
I ordered online for pickup, and my food was ready at the correct time. They do have a couple of 3 min parking spots. Otherwise, parking in the area is challenging.
I am OBSESSED with this burger joint!!! As someone who eats gluten free, their gf burger buns are PHENOMENAL and don't crumble at the slightest touch. I also love their spanky sauce and my husband loves the "dirty" version. My only two complaints is that they don't seem to be open on weekends (sort of sporadic hours), and you pay the same if you don't want fries, which I'm not always in the mood for.
With their hours, I recommend checking if the online ordering is available in order to see if they are open. I hope they eventually start being open on weekends because this will be my go to spot when coming to visit Tacoma!
Lots of great gluten free options! I have celiac and i have never had a reaction from here! Their frier is all gluten free and they will change gloves if requested.
Great spots for vegan and gluten free peeps. Lots of options, big portions. Sweet & Sour Crispy Tofu Sando was 10/10. Yam fries and the special sauce is a must.
Best best gluten free hamburger we’ve ever had!
Gluten free onion rings!!!!!
The service was super friendly and welcoming’ indoor outdoor seating our new favorite place!! Not super expensive YUM!!!
Love a place with a dedicated gluten free fryer!! And the food is so delicious! Ive had their regular buns and the GF with my celiac daughter and I actually like their GF buns more than the regular ones. The buns have a pancake-like texture but I prefer it!
We recently visited Tipsy Cow in Woodinville and ordered **The Rockstar** burger—three of them, including one gluten-free option. Given the enticing menu description—brew-battered and fried bacon, maple syrup, Tillamook aged white cheddar cheese, fried egg, lettuce, and tipsy sauce—We had high expectations. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t live up to the hype.
The burgers were small and lacked any real flavor, which was surprising given the ingredients listed. The gluten-free version didn’t offer much improvement, either. Additionally, the environment was loud, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. Overall, the experience was underwhelming.
I was searching online for a nice place to go for Fathers day Lunch. We have 1 person with a Milk allergy, and 1 person who cant have gluten or dairy. So when this place popped up and i saw the menu, i was pretty excited, seeing as i am the milk allergy. Happy hour appetizers where delicious ( the vegan queso i could have ate like soup) the pretzels are amazing, chips and salsa, then we all had different main courses, we had one fried/ crispy chicken sandwich that looked spectacular, we had a basic cheese burger ( with vegan cheese on lettuce) they have gluten free buns but she prefers no bun, then we had the Cascadia burger with the garlic fries, and finally the blue cheese burger sub for vegan FYH blue cheese and garlic fries, a dessert of lemon cheese cake with a huckleberry sauce ( that only had to bites eaten but was declared refreshing) a couple scoops of vegan icecream shared, and a scoop of regular icecream. All in all the meal was pretty tasty and we all were planning what we wanted next. Dare we say at least a couple of us are thinking the Vegan Mac.
Absolutely fantastic.
Very gluten friendly, lots of gluten free options and gf pita is even available and the flavors don't suffer for it. Wonderfully accommodating staff.
If you get the grill for 2-3 with friends you will have plenty of food and probably still take some home. Fantastically filling.
Most Seattle restaurants aren't worth the prices they charge, but this was the first one I've been to in a minute that was really worth paying for both the food and experience.
Will be back.
I really appreciated the gluten free fish & chips! The coleslaw was raw cabbage with some dressing drizzled on- I was hoping for something a little more prepared. My partner's flatbread was excellent.
Best experience our server Erica answered all our questions as far as ingredients for our gluten allergy, which was so great! She recommended their special, the peanut butter burger and oh my gosh 10/10 Will be back to try more!
I LOVE this place and the people working here. I long for the days when Amy's Favorite Salad is the special, and the gluten free pizza is so good I had to confirm it was actually gluten free.
Gluten free options, limited to GF bread to sub for burgers & such. GF bread Tuna melt - delicious. Special of sweet potato bacon Benedict was delicious. Hollandaise was a great balance of butter and citrus - like the best I’ve had in spokane since moving here. Friendly service!
My wife and I loved the ciders and food served in this great location. The ciders are delicious and don’t make you feel like you’re just drinking sugar. The food was exceptional too. We loved the fry flight, and my wife appreciated all the gluten free options available. We cannot express how great of a place and how great the service was, highly recommend trying it out.
Good food, comfortable and casual environment. The chowder was good, both the Manhattan and the New England. A few gluten free options including the fish and chips. We tried those GF and I will send as very impressed at the taste and quality.
The Ruben on gluten-free bum was delicious! The bartender answered my questions but didn’t seem impressed to be asked even though it wasn’t busy. She did take the time to explain there would be cross contamination no matter what. Luckily, I’m only gluten intolerant. Something to consider if you have celiac.
Oh to have a dedicated gluten free menu!
Not only did they have a dedicated menu but they had a dedicated fryer! I ordered the gf chicken strips! And LET ME TELL YA! Worth it. I haven’t had gluten free chicken strips since being diagnosed in 2019! The environment is fun as there is a ton of pool tables. It’s also considered family friendly before 9pm! Honestly, probably a new favorite
Absolutely delicious and inexpensive for the quality of food and knowledgeable team members. I was driving 45 minutes to get bbq until they opened. Gluten-free choices….a lot and I’ve never gotten neuropathy or any other symptoms as a celiac and have eaten many times. De double licious 😋
HEADS UP: Their gluten-free fryer may or may not be available. The last time I was there (May), the gluten-free fryer was back. The few times I stopped by in March & April (2023), they only had one fryer, and it was being used to cook glutinous items. When this is the case, they're still able to cook you up a super yummy gluten-free burger but without the fries.
Whidbey has very few places that truly cater to Celiacs, and this is one of those places. Lots of places offer gluten-free buns, but these guys have a separate gluten-free, dedicated fryer, making their yummy fries an option, too. They also have no problem bagging the gluten-free combo separately to avoid cross-contamination. This is our go-to place for gluten-free burgers and fries on the island.
We’re in the area for a few days and after a long travel day, it was a great experience to sit, enjoy an amazing fish/chips and fish tacos (gluten free options are available here) with friendly people at the restaurant. Food was delicious and great service was appreciated. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!!

Love Maxwell house. I have celiac and have never had any issues eating here. They have a dedicated fryer. So yummy. Broasted chicken is my favorite. Maxwell House Restaurant
Good place for breakfast on Sunday! Delicious food and friendly (if a little disorganized) staff. They had gluten free bread (+ $2/3) and corn tortilla options! We got a side of their breakfast potatoes to go for later because they were so good!
Service was great
Had the club, good portion size for price but felt quality was a little below what it should be. The sandwich could have used about 20% less butter and mayo, lettuce was oldish and fries could have been a bit more crispy.
Fair amount of gluten free options
