Really good.. perfect even? Gluten free base is unreal.. flavour, consistency-wise👌. Currently addicted to loaded pepperoni with a bbq swirl.. do they put crack in it? 🤣 . I sometimes order the Southern style tenders as a side as well which are 1000x better than kfc
I have taken away from the Gungahlin location on two separate occasions. Both times the counter service was efficient and friendly.
My pizza orders were correct and hot. The toppings are generous and delicious. They have a gluten free option and the gluten free order was very identifiable with a big sticker.
Having previously been a frequent customer of Fricken Braddon as my wife and I always enjoyed the quality of their food.
Unfortunately having tried the Tuggeranong store on 2 seperate occasions, both times have been disappointing. The chicken on both occasions has been below par, first time i ate in, and the chicken came out cold. Today the chicken was undercooked.
Im giving 2 stars instead of one because my wife's gluten free order always comes out hot, and the batter crispy. I hope they pick up their game as its such a great brand
Fabulous burgers, chock-a-block full of delicious ingredients. I had the vegie and haloumi burger with a great gluten-free bun. Buzzy brewery atmosphere with great beers on tap.
I have had Brod before but this one didn't hit the spot. Firstly, the wait time was insane for a quiet Friday lunch and one burger order. I would hate to go on a busy weekend and be in a hurry.
Had a gluten free veg burger. Their gluten free bread was so dry - so many burger places in Canberra do gluten free bread well so this was disappointing. The thinnest driest haloumi slice drowned by oily vegetables that tasted half cooked which given the wait time seemed a bit silly. So much capsicum! The burger sauce had been poured on and was oddly spicy which must be to make up for the lack of seasoning on the cooked veges. I think I'll try the vegan burger instead next time.
Their onion rings had a thick batter which was a welcome change from other burger joints. Appreciate that aioli dipping sauce didn't come at an extra cost.
Staff were nice but one person in particular seemed incredibly fed up - as was I by the end of it all. Won't be going back any time soon.
Interestingly never had a bad experience at the one at Capital Brewing in Fyshwick.

i ordered a big bowl and it felt kind of empty??? and i feel like one or two of the ingredients i had asked for weren’t in there. i mean if the staff were tired it’s whatever but if they weren’t then i dont understand
also ordered the “buy one get one free” water thing and only got one , so feels like a waste of money in a way , kinda wish i ordered sumn else but idk doesnt feel worth the money
edit : i dont know what it is , but my mum was fine with zambrero awhile ago and suddenly she got sick whenever eating it , didn’t think much of it as she’s gluten free. but i also feel sick for the first time in awhile from eating it,mind you i am not gluten free or anything so idk what’s happening
Delicious and filling. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options. Friendly staff. Expect to pay $15-22 for a regular meal, but it is yummy, hearty, and filling.
Note: the 'free wifi' advertised on the door is Canberra Free Wifi'. But still, good wifi signal.
Note 2: Does not offer student discounts.
The food was great, but the chips were cold and we had an issue with the app. We haven’t been to Nando’s in quite some time and haven’t gotten used to the app yet. As a person with celiac, I was looking for food without any wheat/gluten. I clicked on salads and read the ingredients, only read: “grains” and didn’t think it would be that much of a problem, the salad had wheat grains on top. I called an employee over and didn’t receive much help at all. Went to the chef and was told it was my problem for ordering salad with wheat on top and was showed the “allergy advice” button, the ingredient list didn’t show wheat grains at all. She replied with an angry tone and wasn’t kind at all. The chef needs to treat customers properly instead of telling them it’s their own problem.
Zambrero offers a fresh and fast approach to Mexican cuisine, blending convenience with quality. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a focus on quick service that doesn't compromise on flavor. The staff are efficient and friendly, making the ordering process smooth and straightforward, even during busy times.
The menu at Zambreros is straightforward, focusing on customizable burritos, bowls, and tacos. The ingredients are fresh, with a variety of fillings and toppings that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. The burrito I tried was generously filled with tender, slow-cooked beef, paired with black beans, rice, and a zesty tomato salsa. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion size was satisfying without being overwhelming.
One of Zambrero’s standout features is its commitment to healthy eating. The use of superfoods like quinoa and their range of vegan and gluten-free options make it easy to enjoy a meal that’s both delicious and nutritious. The added bonus is their Plate 4 Plate initiative, where every meal purchased donates a meal to someone in need, making dining here feel even more rewarding.
Overall, Zambrero Weston is an excellent choice for a quick, tasty, and health-conscious meal. While it may not offer the complexity of a sit-down Mexican restaurant, it excels in providing fresh, flavorful food that’s perfect for a casual lunch or dinner on the go.
Best customer service and so accommodating. We had a vegan gluten free friend who was able to enjoy a custom burger. Nothing was too hard and they have amazing options for all people.
A ma-and-pa operation for the last twenty years, but the décor harks back to an earlier era in pizzerias. The food is cooked with passion, pride and skill. The stone-cooked pizzas have a nice crispiness and a distinctive pleasant toasty flavour, and even the gluten-free pizzas are shmick! There are a lot of people in Canberra making espresso coffee, but I think that almost all of them could learn something here.
One of the few fresh sandwich outlets around. Great that they offer options for those with dietary restrictions (eg coeliacs/gluten free). Nice food for when you need something fresh as an easy take out option
First time ordering pizzas from here and I would come back again. Gluten free pizza was tasty and toppings were generous. Bit busy after 5pm but that’s to be expected, car parking easy too.
Shop was quite loud and busy. But the food is amazing and they do gluten free. I especially love their Mustard Delux wrap gluten free w slow cooked beef.
First time ordering from here. Was the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. Perfect base, generous toppings and crispy cheese on top, cooked to perfection.
Tried burrito for the first time at Zambrero this morning. A guy changed the gloves, used paper to toast a wrap, used different plate to make my gluten free burrito.
Thanks for your amazing service. Will definitely See you again.
