Genuinely… the best meal of my life! Do yourself a favour and get the Signature Banquet - $60pp, 5 courses and each course will blow you away! And my gosh… the dips are to die for!!! Completely celiac friendly, such professional and friendly staff and so much flavour packed into each dish! Melt in your mouth meat! Cheese that makes you believe in god and pistachio ice cream that ties everything together in just pure perfection! The Pinot noir pure bliss! Would fly from Perth again purely for this meal! I will be back! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
Fries and other fried foods are not cooked in a separate fryer, so not coeliac safe - separate utensils but no separate preparation processes. Really helpful and kind management and staff, but we chose not to risk it. (We have eaten here prior to a coeliac diagnosis in our family and it’s truly delicious!!)
Food was excellent and big servings!
Need to book so you can choose your seat.
We ordered FULL GREEK which is 65PP!
However, I am lactose intolerant and needed to be gluten free. The restaurant has adjusted some of the food for me which I really appreciate!
There has been some delays with the servers which maybe due to a lot of customers dining in. That’s why I rated 4. Which I must say can be improved.
Atmosphere is also 4 coz the seats are too close to each other and its difficult when you stand up without bothering other people. It’s just feedback that can still be improved.
Overall, the food is great and we enjoyed a lot. Hope to be back here soon!
Our group of seven were so well looked after. The extensive Gluten Free menu was well appreciated. So many gluten free desserts, it was difficult to choose. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. The view is amazing also. Staff were very obliging.

Had a delicious meal, definitely book! We went early at 5:15 and had very prompt service no waiting. By 6pm it was full! They were excellent in catering for my coeliac /gluten free food! Thanks Kosta
We went here to try the food as my friend is celiac and they offer gluten free options.
Food was yummy. Lamb pieces were abit tough but the other 2 skewers were a hit!
Rice was bland but the yoghurt helped.
Ambience is nice though tables were very crowded in small space.
I was really looking forward to dining here after hearing such great things, especially because of the mostly gluten-free menu. Ideal for celebrating a coeliac friend’s birthday. Unfortunately, the experience fell short.
The portion sizes were shocking for the price. $28 for a plate of heirloom tomatoes and stracciatella felt steep for what we received.
The cauliflower dish was also underwhelming, it was bland and lacking in flavour.
The sticky date pudding and the cardamom yogurt were great but didn’t redeem the meal.
While I could understand paying premium prices for amazing atmosphere or great flavours, neither were memorable. Disappointing overall, especially given the great reviews and high prices.
No longer 100% gluten free, and can’t even cater for it adequately despite saying they can on their menu - didn’t notify us until 30 mins before our booking despite us specifying “gluten free” in our booking 5 days in advance, and couldn’t offer substitutions for their set menu (their menu now says only a couple of things aren’t gluten free, but we were told anything on the grill is no longer gluten free, so the menu is incorrect as well). To make matters worse, they take the full amount from your card for the set menu at the time of booking upfront, and then you have to wait days to get your money back if you’re not going.
This place was an institution for coeliacs - if that’s why you were going, don’t bother.

Overall, we had a mixed experience – some dishes were delicious, but several service and food issues kept the evening from being truly special.
• Tasty mains: The lamb (with potatoes) was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly.
• Great gluten-free dessert: The gluten-free rhubarb dessert was a wonderful end to the meal – creative and flavorful.
Areas for Improvement
• Slow service for basics: Water service was slow, and one of our cocktails was forgotten until we reminded the staff.
• Service slip-ups: A waiter dropped cutlery near our table, and we were almost served a drink in a chipped glass (caught just in time).
• Table clutter: Unused wine glasses stayed on our table all night, which felt cluttered and unnecessary.
• No dish explanations: Each dish was delivered with no description or introduction, leaving us guessing what we were eating.
• Food quality issues: Some ingredients not fresh – the cauliflower salad had pomegranate seeds that tasted old, and a gluten-free zucchini flower appetizer had an off (fishy) taste.
• Burnt dessert: Unfortunately, the churros we ordered came out burnt, which was disappointing, especially for a special occasion.
Asked for a gluten free pizza for a Friend: she says is one of the best she's had.
The other two also were very good and tasty. Totally recommend this place
Very helpful with a seperate gluten free menu offered for the GF foodies. Food always on point! Only thing I would recommend is more lemon on those roast potatoes (or on the side) YUM!
Fantastic dining experience. Lots of Gluten Free options, which us why we came, but we were delighted by the warm welcome and fabulous service. We will definitely be back.
I popped in here desparate for some quick, easy to eat food on the go and got the wild zataar and veg on gluten free bread.
Any one who needs to avoid gluten understands how most gluten free bread completely sucks, so I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into this and the bread was deliciously crispy, chewy in texture, and wasnt dry!!!
Decent espresso. Atmosphere, very small inside, crowded/was super busy. Pretty expensive
Best souvlaki ever.and this is coming from 100% Greeks. Best part mama diagnosed celiac after birth and first time got to eat pita souvlaki after many years..thank you
Really good.. perfect even? Gluten free base is unreal.. flavour, consistency-wise👌. Currently addicted to loaded pepperoni with a bbq swirl.. do they put crack in it? 🤣 . I sometimes order the Southern style tenders as a side as well which are 1000x better than kfc
Love this place!! Came here for a meal with family last Friday night. The space is beautifully designed, the staff were fantastic, so friendly and absolutely take pride in their restaurant. The sticky date lamb was incredible, highly recommend. Lots of gluten free and dairy free also on the menu which is great as we had a ceoliac with us. Thanks guys, will definitely be back.
The worst food I have eaten in a very long time. Bivouac used to be amazing what happened?!
The fried potatoes which sounded like they would be crispy were chunks of greasy potato with a horrible sauce that left a weird aftertaste in your mouth. The crispy skin pork was stale and soggy skin. When I gave feedback I was told that’s because they cook it in the oven and fry it… not oh I’m sorry let me fix this. Ridiculous excuse. The chimichurri was not chimichurri it was like a weird tasteless spinach thing. The sauces were flavourless. Honestly it was hard to find anything I enjoyed at a once great restaurant.
I will say there are many gluten free options and the chicken wasn’t dry. Those are the only positives I can find.
Fantastic food at a beautiful venue. The service was friendly and attentive, and they cater to coeliac requirements in a very welcoming manner!
They can make almost everything (apart from the fried options) coeliac friendly, and the banquet and skewers we had were delightful and extremely generous! The baba ganoush and tabbouleh were some of the best I've ever had!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Mez Club. They do a contemporary take on Moroccan food. Excellent food and very creative cocktails! Many of the dishes are vegetarian and/or gluten free. The crème brûlée is a must try! Staff are lovely.
We had paella, lamb salad, saganaki prawns, pan-fried veal, affogato, and tiramisu. The paella was a touch salty, but the lamb salad totally made up for it—it was spot on! I also loved that they had plenty of gluten-free options, which made the whole experience even better for me!”
A pre-booked table not ready when we arrived. All good we were seated a few minutes later. The wait staff seemed distracted and distraught when I advised that our group was not having the set menu. Wait staff seemed to think this was a given. Only 1 drinks menu available for the table we asked several times. Ordered wine took 45 minutes to have that delivered. Others on the table had their mains sides delivered prior to entree. One of our group is coeliac and ordered a GF free option which was delivered with bread on the plate! Noisey atmosphere staff were overrun. We were not asked about the bill payment for our large group and we had to rock up 1 x 1 and relay what each person/couple were paying for. Very weird. The food when it finally arrived (mine anyway) was hot fresh and tasty.
Other group members complained about a serving size of a lamb shoulder.
Limited wine list and average quality with above average pricing. It’s a big no from myself and others in our group. The wait staff were friendly enough but just not focused or way too distracted.
I will not be returning an extremely expensive and disappointing night all round and sad as it was a ‘celebration’ for 2 of our group. I was embarrassed that I suggested this place & the interstate visitors were not impressed.
Quite delicious. If you get the set menu, portions seem a bit small at first but by the end, you’re stuffed. Nothing super ground breaking, just modern Middle Eastern fusion done well and presented beautifully.
Sat outside and the bar table is a bit unstable, plus the ground is sloped. A bit awkward to deal with but not terrible.
Plenty of gluten free options and well communicated.
Nothing that stood out as a must have again but still a solid choice for an upmarket meal out.
Berth has incredible food, drinks, view and atmosphere, however, the service is what stood out to us the most, especially our Waiter named Tibbs. He ensured to check in on us regularly, gathered empty dishes in a timely manner and surprised me with a sparkler and free ice cream with my dessert to celebrate my birthday! In addition, I am a coeliac and I felt very safe at this establishment, with a majority of the food being either gf or gfo and Tibbs ensured whether it was a preference or allergy. We had such a great experience, would highly recommend!
Wonderful gluten free pita. My boy had the chicken pita bread gluten free and removed the spicy and dairy ingredient in its app. The pita was nice when it was served warm.
I had the standard mini chicken wrap. Love this Greek street food.
We like the alfresco sitting area too.
Dinner for 2 on a Tuesday night which was packed with people, luckily we made a booking.
We got the signature set for $190 per person, which I felt was plenty of food.
Everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection, especially the citrus butter scallops, glazed fish collar, wagyu shish and slow roasted lamb shoulder. They tried to accomodate my gluten intolerance by swapping for gf bread, gf breadcrumbs and gf chocolate mousse which was great!
Atmosphere was classy and dark however was noisy due to being cramped with people.
Service was amazing with waiters explaining each dish however again it was too noisy to hear them.
It is on the pricier side, we spent almost $500 including drinks for 2 of us, so not a place I’d come to often. But it was nice for a birthday celebration.
Very friendly family environment, they took good care of my gluten free requirements and the food tasted fantastic! A little small on the portion sizes for a man and a bit pricy but overall very much enjoyed! Apparently the pita bread was to die for!
I’ve been a regular customer for years..
I usually order the meal for myself and my little girl which is usually more than enough. This time the meal came filled with chips and some meat thrown on the top. After I brought this to their attention and asked what caused the portion of meat to drastically change into half the usual quantity, I got told ‘they weigh the meat’! A laughable answer.
On the top of that, ….
I usually get gluten free bread on the side which is an extra charge, makes total sense but to also charge me for the pita bread that’s meant to be part of the meal is shocking.
This used to be our fave place because of the consistency of the food and the service. Very disappointing to see how greedy they have become.
That is certainly my last visit.
We were a group of 8 who were very full and satisfied with our meal tonight! Very tasty! The calamari was to die for! Also as a coeliac I was super happy to be eating the same food as everyone else. There is also a seperate gluten free menu. Our waiter Emalie was extremely helpful and friendly. He provided great service efficiently and with a smile. As a Greek myself I was very impressed with our meal tonight. Hats off to the chef! Job Well done!!👍
Lemoni is the hidden gem that you will fall in love with on your first visit! Incredible food, absolutely wonderful service - and remember to book ahead as this place is no secret to the locals and it’s always busy for good reason! They are also really gluten free friendly which is such a plus 🙏🏼
Best food in Coogee, will not disappoint. Quiet, ocean views, food is plated beautifully, interesting ingredients. Highly recommended the zucchini fitters and coconut milk chai latte. Heaps of gluten free options available.
