TL;DR I’m celiac and went for the gluten-free options but the buns & fries made in a shared convection oven with gluten-containing items, so the bowls are the safest option.
I went here yesterday to try the hot dogs and I ended up having a delicious meal, however I was a bit disappointed initially because I couldn’t actually get the haute dogs with a bun or the fries.
They seem knowledgeably about celiac and the mostly the whole menu can be made gluten free, however the buns and fries are made in a shared convection oven (which circulates air, and thus gluten) with gluten/containing buns, etc. This is unavoidable for the buns because they have to cook from frozen and that can’t be done on their grill. At first they didn’t realize this and did say it’s safe, but as soon as I mentioned it about the fries, the staff went out of their way to tell me that the buns are prepared the same way so I could make a decision to not get it, I appreciated that a lot!
They do have a separate grill and ingredients, so I ended up getting a Caesar bowl which was delicious and I didn’t get sick.
Personally I’m more careful so I didn’t trust the buns and fries, but it’s up to you and your tolerance.
I really hope they can get a separate method for the gluten free buns and fries so we can enjoy them safely too!
Very tasty food and there was gluten free pasta, which we didn't find anywhere else in Brussels. Super nice service, they also brought water for our dog
Food was good, price was more than fair. The fries were a little boring, but the meat was really delicious. They also had great vegan and even gluten-free options.
Nice cafeteria/restaurant. From fries with a snack to pasta, mussels and so on. For people with celiac disease, i.e. who have to eat gluten-free, there is a wide choice of snacks.
Food: Wide range, even gluten-free products. Less a fan of hub cheese
the bickey cheese but everything else is tip top;
Services: usually friendly and ready quickly;
Atmosphere: has been the same for years, toilet in the basement could use a little freshening up but is clean.
The employee was very friendly, but it was a disappointment as a celiac not to find ANYTHING gluten-free. All the products had some gluten or traces, even a simple 'salad fruit'! Of course, the labeling is clear regarding allergens.
Super yummy gluten-free wok. Highly recommend the rice noodles with red curry sauce, veg & tofu. Had rather a long wait for my meal but otherwise lovely
One of the best gluten-free burgers I've ever eaten. All burgers are available in gluten-free versions. Great fries, and a variety of sauces.
This makes eating burgers fun!
My favorite place to eat gluten-free in the center of Brussels, I go there more than 3 times a week, but in recent days, I often found traces of noodles with gluten but not every time. You have to be a little careful
No interest
The fries are frozen, overcooked, tasteless!
The mayonnaise was there but I didn't taste it!
🚫⚠️ No gluten free ‼️
I had a reaction, hard and swollen abdomen! I hope I don't throw up!
1⭐ for the price €3.30 per large fry + €0.60 for the sauce.
Lots of choices, also gluten free bread available. The gluten-free sandwich was extremely tasty! The juice is very pricey, but tasty. The concept of ordering and waiting could be a little clearer, and the chairs and tables were unfortunately quite dirty. I would definitely get a sandwich again!
What sets this chip shop apart from the other chip shops is that the choice of frying snacks is really huge!!
In addition to the regular "meats", you have a very wide range of vegetarian snacks (from vegetarian currywurst to chilli cheese nuggets to vegetarian bitterballen.)
There are also halal and gluten-free options, so something for everyone!
Always very friendly staff and there is never a long wait
Nice chip shop with extensive menu, vegan, veggie and gluten-free options.

Super! Friendly people and gluten-free fries and snacks available and more importantly, they are well informed about cross-contamination, etc. We come from Lummen especially to you 🍟😋
Very friendly owners with a real passion for fries. Served quickly and very tasty. Their fresh burgers are baked on a plate. Definitely worth a try!
There are gluten-free options and they do their utmost to respect this.

Fries overcooked a little too long, but they have a gluten-free snack
Excellent service. We were fortunate to have two Spanish employees (Patricia and Cristina) serving us, and they were incredibly helpful with the gluten issue. Highly recommended.
SUPER vegan chip shop, which offers a gluten-free snack (a faumage croquette)!
Bravo to them for the effort.
I hope there will be other gluten-free snacks in the future <3
I have celiac disease and it’s really stressful to eat out. The staff was wonderful and communicated well with me and each other to avoid cross contamination. I really appreciated their efforts! And to all other celiacs out there, their fryer is only used for fries 🎉🎉
Very unpleasant employee, no hello and phone in hand. Error in the order, being gluten intolerant I always take the gluten-free noodles and the surprise... It's not what I asked for. The waitress does not want to admit her mistake and does not want to repeat the order. I ask her to call the manager and supposedly she doesn't have her number and she won't give me her name. After insisting, she ends up miraculously finding his number in her phone and calling him. The manager is also very unpleasant because I disturb her on her day off and tells me that it doesn't matter that I received the wrong preparation because in any case there is gluten in the sauce which is not specified anywhere in the menu or in the sauce ingredients. The waitress only expects one thing, which is for you to leave as quickly as possible to take her phone back in hand.

best chip shop in the area. also fresh burgers (on the baking tray) and gluten-free snacks. There is often a long queue, yet the service is smooth.
Excellent fries and sauces! I was recommended the place and told that they had the best fries in Brussels, that doesn't surprise me. It’s exactly this quality of fries that we’re looking for when coming to Belgium 😁
Little extra: gluten-free beer available!

Last Saturday I got gluten free fries for my grandson who suffers from celiac disease. He had to throw everything away, the fries were bad. Too bad, without food home after a day at Ostend.
