I was so excited to try this place because I had been told they had gluten-free bar food. And it was delicious! I had chicken strips, fried pickles, and onion rings. Yummy! Hubby add a hamburger with a gluten-free bun, fries, and chips with spinach and artichoke dip. We were both very pleased with our meals and will absolutely return. I also enjoyed their tequila specialty drink which was also delicious. We were there on a Tuesday and it was completely packed for lunch. I'd highly recommended!
Cute place. Friendly staff. Good service. The food was good. But not great. Nothing was "wow that's good, I will be back". It was $30 with tax and tip. I had an omelet with sweet potato hash browns, 2 sausage links, and gluten free toast. Hot cocoa to drink. For a $30 breakfast, I want to be wowed.
Always the best crepes in the state. Sooooo good and gluten free is available for all crepes. I love the French infused atmosphere and the staff. A must visit breakfast brunch spot in the city
Summit pizza I have say, has some absolutely amazing gluten free options for my Celiac girlfriend. We love coming to this place because they have really good food imo. However, over the last year, we’ve decided to order and pick up from the LS location instead of doing dine in most of the time. That has caused a lot of issues with our online orders. For example, we order the same thing every Saturday/sunday, every weekend for about a year. And they have not, ONE TIME, made the order correctly. I understand it happens sometimes, we are all human I get that. But these cooks must be blind because I have not had a single order be correct. We order the GF garlic bread, every single time I double check it, it’s gonna be cheese bread instead. Without a doubt in my mind these people will make your online order wrong. Same thing with the pizza. We get a GF Summit stockyard and half the time it comes out as a supreme pizza… 😂. It’s not like they get it right so it’s hard to give them grace at this point. Great food great people, but if you order online good luck getting what you ordered, you are gonna have to wait an extra 10-15 for your actual order.
We tried Favazza’s around 1:30 p.m., so it wasn’t busy at all. Overall, it was just okay—an expensive, average experience. We started with the toasted ravioli, which was actually pretty good, nice, and crispy with a flavorful filling. For entrées, we had the manicotti, the pasta con broccoli with pink sauce, and the gluten-free shrimp with pasta, plus a dinner salad. Everything tasted fine, but nothing really stood out as exceptional, especially for the price.
We sat on the patio, which was unfortunately extremely loud—even with few people around, the noise echoed and made conversation difficult. Service was a real disappointment. Our waitress was not attentive and kept disappearing for long stretches, leaving us waiting for refills and check-ins.
In the end, it felt like we paid more than the quality and experience justified.
I love that they have so many gluten free options! I had my first pizza in over a year because I can never find a good gluten free pizza. It was AMAZING!! I'm also super impressed that when I told them I was gluten free, they brought me complimentary gluten free bread. I have never been in a restaurant with complimentary gf anything! I always have to skip the bread, so this was a rare treat. The server was friendly and efficient, very personable. The room was a bit loud at first, but we stayed and talked to our friends for a long time and it quieted down after the dinner rush was over. Perfect place for a double date and I'm so glad they didn't close! We will be back.
We had one of the best waitress were probably ever had! At first, my food was not prepared the best ( they were busy) BUT. It was fixed quickly, without fuss and was delicious. I actually just sat and didn't say anything. She noticed and just took action. The gluten free pancakes are fantastic and you can get different kinds, not just one note. OJ is made fresh in the restaurant. Tip: Expect to wait a bit. A large party, call ahead.
My family decided to give this place a chance even though we are vegan and gluten free. The wait was 2+ hours to be seated. When we were seated our table wasn't clean, it was caked with sauces and stuff. I cleaned our table and chairs and the cloth was nasty. We were hungry so we stayed, but we didn't get our food for another 1.5 hours. Luckily there was a bean bag toss to keep the kids (and let's be honest adults) busy. They ran out of crayons and coloring paper.
When the food finally came out, they had cross contaminated the vegan gluten free pizza with the non vegan pizza and my daughter and I got really sick.
Needless to say, if you have food allergies, don't go there. We learned our lesson the hard way.
I love it here- the servers are knowledgeable and aware of Celiac. I have been here multiple times with no issues, and their menu has a ton of gluten free options!

By far the best lemon blueberry scone I have ever had. I groaned internally when I realized after I ordered that it was gluten free...but seriously the best. You would never know. Their macaroons are creative and fun (lucky charm, shamrock shake etc). And the brown sugar latte was fantastic. I saw someone picking up their birthday cake and it was adorable. The whole team was friendly and warm. A must stop.
I am celiac and it was a wonderful experience! Our server Valerie was so knowledgeable and sweet! They have so many gluten free and vegan options! I was very impressed! The food was absolutely amazing!! I got the chicken skewers and the fries. I can't wait to try all of the other gluten free options! I found my new favorite restaurant!
This was the first time at a mellow mushroom, we chose here for the gluten free pizza as I have a medical condition. The service was top notch! Very friendly and helpful! He was very good with my special needs child as well!
The pizza was phenomenal!!!! It was the tastiest pizza I've ever had(my mouth is watering thinking about it!) their garlic butter sauce was the icing on the cake(or pizza!)
We sat outside and it was perfect. Nice and quiet. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back! 10/10 recommend!
From the service to the mini donuts, this place is a gem in KC. The crispy outside and the extra soft inside of the minis is a real delight! They also have gluten free that they have "stored" away from the normal donuts. I could sit here and just gas up this local gem for a bit more, but, you need to go try it if you haven't.
What a gem! This is by far our best vegan find so far. And we have found many. The vegan bbq chicken pizza was AMAZING! Especially love that they use other small businesses, like the Jazzy Bs bbq sauce! They also have fresh baked good in house, including vegan and gluten free options. Only disappointing thing about this place, is it took me this long to find it. Can't wait to try other menu options. BRAVO!
Good choices BUT I have been glutened more than once here, the gf noodles are often undercooked, they are just barilla penne, and I found a spaghetti noodle in them once. Eat at your own risk!
This place should be on your list if you're traveling through and should be a favorite of yours if you live here.
The atmosphere is fresh and new but adds in eclectic and soft themes throughout. Check out their live plants and unique birdcages throughout.
Food is a 10/10, in my opinion. Crepes are delicious, and they are ready to meet those with a gluten intolerance. Plus, they use locally grown ingredients!!
Staff are always welcoming and helpful. If you're going, be sure to try the Apple Mimosa.
Food was good. They do have gluten free options, but it's not on their menu. They have a gluten free penne and a couple of sauce options. A gluten free pizza crust that they made into bread sticks for me. Staff was so kind and helpful, and our waitress, Anna, double checked several items that might have a gluten issue.
The portion sizes are massive as well, and very reasonably priced.
Terrible service for Tuesday at 9am. The server did not know what celiac was so I only ordered eggs over medium and a fruit salad. They offer GF crepes, and have lots of GF options otherwise, but not safe for celiacs .
Rarely do I sit after a meal and have to leave a review immediately. I’ve been gluten free for about three years and there are things I miss desperately, like a good waffle. They’re always so grainy and dense. Not here! This is legitimately the best waffle I’ve ever had. Not just gluten free, just the best. Period. The cider is amazing, servers are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is super chill. Emily, our server, could answer all our questions and was very knowledgeable. My wife had the fish and chips and the fish was also gluten free - the batter was perfectly crispy and a great fish to batter ratio. If I could give 10 stars I would.
We made a special trip to the restaurant because of their celiac safe gluten free options. The service, staff, and food were all great! It is so nice to have a safe place to go while on vacation.
Terrible service. Can’t place an order on the phone and online doesn’t work. Called in hopes to place an order. Person answered with a AWFUL attitude and didn’t even start the convo with hello but a WE DONT DO RESERVATIONS. which I was NOT calling about. Unfortunately I am gluten free but will be going ANYWHERE else. WE. A. SHAME.

The pizza was good, no complaints about the taste but the price was pretty ridiculous. I ordered large gluten free pizza, with vegan cheese, arugula, green pepper, mushroom and artichoke and was charged $37. In my opinion the price was absolute outrageous for what I ordered. It should have been at least $10 cheaper. I appreciate the options that were provided but I will not be returning for an almost $40 pizza.
I can't get over how good these cupcakes are. Even when Ive had left over cupcakes that are a couple days old they are still delicious and moist. I've met the owner a couple of times while theyve supported other small businesses and female entrepreneurs, where they were always so kind and generous. Its an extra bonus that the cupcakes are so dang good! And tasty gluten free options too, which sometimes feel impossible to find.
Its counter service, but its the asian Chipotle with amazing benefits of being both All Safe Gluten-free, and vegan options not just vegetarian. And some of the best Korean BBQ, and spicy chicken I have ever had.
So many yummy gluten free options! Server was awesome, he was fun. Eric H. Know the menu well and very personable. Hope he's there when we get to go again
I love going to Rooster because I can order a gluten free crepe. I ordered the MO Made Sausage with white cheddar and roasted apples. I would have liked the apples softer. The crepe tasted delicious and I ate every bite.
I have given this location several chances and unfortunately have been disappointed. I have celiacs so options for gluten free Chinese are limited. With that said the only gluten free options Chinese restaurant there are in st.louis is PF Chang's and PEI Wei with all locations on the far west side of st.louis so I don't get this treat often... This is my second recent trip My first trip I stopped on my lunch break and ordered gf beef and broccoli no onions got my order to go waited 15-20 min got my order went to my car and it wasn't beef and broccoli it was chicken I had to go back in and get them to remake my order waited another 15 min then it came out with onions had to have them remake it a second time. Waited another 10 min and this time it came out correctly went out to my car to scarf this down as I just blew my entire lunch break just getting the order, only to find a hair in my food half way through. 2 months later decided to give it another try as my options are limited.
My friend was in town from Canada and I wanted to go somewhere nice. My friend and I arrived at 11am and waited to be greeted. We were the first ppl there and were seated at a small table by the bar. The bartender was our server and he took out order no issues I ordered gluten free beef and broccoli with no onions and my friend ordered the chicken and broccoli gluten free. The food came out and it was clear there were onions in my dish he tried saying I was seeing broccoli. Had to send it back and wait for it to be remade while my friends food got cold. I insisted they just eat and not wait for me. Our drinks were left unfilled when I finally did receive my order correct I had to flag someone down as servers purposefully avoided looking out way.
10/10 will always recommend this Black owned bakeshop. I always go here for gluten free cupcakes and healthy, tasty food options. They have a little something for everyone, they are so kind, and the vibes are immaculate. The waffle fries, cup cakes, Cajun home style breakfast potatoes, tacos, and vegan burgers are some of our go tos

Really neat place. Waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable! My 8 year old who has gluten and dairy allergies was able to enjoy a “normal” sandwich and Root beer float! He was on cloud 9!!
Hands down the BEST gluten free bakery I've ever had. The Almond Heart Cake is unbelievable, so delicious. The pistachio cheesecake and turtle cheesecake are equally incredible. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem!
