I am recently gluten free and it is so nice to be able to be able to go somewhere where I could eat everything! I was feeling so discouraged being gluten free.

I ordered a gluten-free margarita pizza (gluten sensitive) and it was delicious! A little overcooked in my opinion, but I also understand that it’s hard to work with GF dough when it has barely any moisture. I’ve never been to a pizza place where I could choose either a traditional GF crust or Cauliflower Crust. If I’m back in KC I will want to see how the Cauliflower crust is!!

Eaten here before and it was great, however this time I got food from them-the picture shows- how much the quantity of an almost $10 salad was. In can't have gluten and said that but they didn't adhere to that...and my medium rare steak was super well done.

My all time favorite Indian food restaurant. Love their lunch buffet! Love their garlic naan, chai tea and mango lassi. Very easy to eat gluten free there, if needed. Every item we've tried on the menu is flavorful and rich and comforting. It's 45 minutes away from where we live but if we're going out for Indian food we always head to Seva!

I enjoy this restaurant every time I visit KC. The decor is inviting, cheerful and natural. The restaurant is very clean and crisp. I especially appreciate the many live plants. The staff is friendly, professional, and caring. They pay special attention to allergies and take them seriously. I ordered takeout tonight and Grace was very attentive to my meal as it was being made. As a note, they have gluten free buns, but they do contain milk (the staff did a great job of telling me). I made the choice to try the buns and can attest that there is a significant enough amount of diary to cause a reaction. They have plenty of options if you have food allergies. Also, they use avocado oil and olive oil to cook.

Summit pizza I have say, has some absolutely amazing gluten free options for my Celiac girlfriend. We love coming to this place because they have really good food imo. However, over the last year, we’ve decided to order and pick up from the LS location instead of doing dine in most of the time. That has caused a lot of issues with our online orders. For example, we order the same thing every Saturday/sunday, every weekend for about a year. And they have not, ONE TIME, made the order correctly. I understand it happens sometimes, we are all human I get that. But these cooks must be blind because I have not had a single order be correct. We order the GF garlic bread, every single time I double check it, it’s gonna be cheese bread instead. Without a doubt in my mind these people will make your online order wrong. Same thing with the pizza. We get a GF Summit stockyard and half the time it comes out as a supreme pizza… 😂. It’s not like they get it right so it’s hard to give them grace at this point. Great food great people, but if you order online good luck getting what you ordered, you are gonna have to wait an extra 10-15 for your actual order.

The food was absolutely amazing!! I got the chicken skewers and the fries. I can't wait to try all of the other gluten free options! I found my new favorite restaurant!

Started coming here because it is a spitting image of another pizza company where I went to college. Who doesn't love an unlimited topping pizza for a decent price? Employees have always done a great job, they're always very friendly here. One time I came in a few min early for an online order, and they were pulling mine out but it had a big hole! They remade it ASAP, and were super apologetic about the wait. They were slammed that night too. The only downside is they don't have options for those with gluten intolerance (salad will be cross contaminated).

My family decided to give this place a chance even though we are vegan and gluten free. The wait was 2+ hours to be seated. When we were seated our table wasn't clean, it was caked with sauces and stuff. I cleaned our table and chairs and the cloth was nasty. We were hungry so we stayed, but we didn't get our food for another 1.5 hours. Luckily there was a bean bag toss to keep the kids (and let's be honest adults) busy. They ran out of crayons and coloring paper. When the food finally came out, they had cross contaminated the vegan gluten free pizza with the non vegan pizza and my daughter and I got really sick. Needless to say, if you have food allergies, don't go there. We learned our lesson the hard way.

I had always wanted to try this place. I was beyond disappointed. The sushi had brown rice which I don’t like. I saw other people’s food and they had white so it would have been nice to know I had a choice since ALL rice is gluten free. I asked for gluten-free soy sauce and was assured it was but then had a reaction later so it obviously wasn’t. None of the workers were friendly nor welcoming. What truly turned my stomach was watching workers fill water glasses by literally pressing the water pitcher down on each glass where people drink thus spreading germs. I appreciate music and a good vibe but it was obnoxiously loud. Super HARD pass.

Stopped in to Heritage for some sushi this evening and wanted to say it was delicious 🍱 We sat at the bar which is so beautiful! The decor is amazing. I ordered the California roll and the sushi chef assured me it is gluten free. Our bartender John was so professional and helpful. I’ve lived in the Grove for about two years, and I’m walking distance from Songbird. This means, most days I’m up at 7 am walking my dog past this place to smell all the smells. Great smells, and all for free. I like to think my dog thinks the same, bc he will usually stop and take extra sniffs by this place. Fantastic place to smell, first and foremost. Okay, you want to know about the food. Yeah, I’ve gotten take-out from here, PLENTY a times. And it’s always going to be the same effing thing. THE COMBO SANDWICH! Please! Cmon! Insane to the fricken membrane! Never gets old! Perfect sandwich, and please know I come from the land of breakfast sandwiches (new jersey) and this place knows how to do a breakfast fricken sandwich. Freshly toasted sourdough, thick bacon, incredible cheese, and that EGG! 😫 With salt and honey on top, please. 🙏 Any time I get this to-go, it’s always warm, egg perfectly cooked, and so easy to order through their user-friendly website. Shoutout whoever does their web-design BTW - love it. Okay, now you want to know the dine-in vibes. Such a cozy, lovely, well designed interior. It feels like you’re eating at your down-to-earth rich friend’s house who definitely is a NPR contributing member. So like, good vibes. Love the hand-painted designs all over, and the color scheme is not overwhelming, it aids in your eating experience. One bathroom - small, and does the job well. Great bathroom. Every detail of this place is so well thought out, to the cookbooks on the bar, to the little figurines on the sill of the mirror. Also, always love a purse hook! Which there are a plenty of! The wait staff here - they are professionals. Like true, real deal professionals. My dad still references this phrase someone used - “How was your first chew?” I mean, how does one even think of such an original sentence? Thank you for inspiring thought and critical thinking. I’ve sat at the bar and at a table. Both spots had excellent back support, and how enjoyable to place my feet wherever I so choose when we sit. Perhaps I swing them! Love the choice. And the open-kitchen concept for the drink making, love it. How fun to watch espressos and kombuchas and teas and delicious alcoholic morning beverages be made!! Okay, now you want to know about the dine-in food experience. As much as I love that OG sandwich, I was recently diagnosed with a random autoimmune disease that restricts some foods I can eat, including gluten, so I was so happy to see they have a gluten-free option for their combo sandwich! I’m really not supposed to eat a lot of food, but the thing is the quality of ingredients is so incredible, I never have a poor reaction to their meat, dairy, or butter. I love they have partnerships with lots of local businesses, and you can really taste the quality. Okay, so I know I raved about the combo sandwich, but their menu is so full of variety and they have the best seasonal specials. My dad loves the Kale Frittata, and I’ve also enjoyed their Sprouted Grain English Muffin, and their grits are so yum! Please try everything once, you won’t regret it. Also always get the combo. lol. Now - the drinks. You might be saying, why is this tiny little Songbird latte $10? Yeah, I wonder that too. I think it’s because of inflation, and also because the quality of house-made syrup, cruelty-free coffee, and delicious milk varieties are just worth it. But hey, don’t want to spend that much? Get one of their insanely delicious teas, matchas, or juices. But don’t sleep on that kombucha. I won’t lie, it’s a bit of a small amount for the price point, but again, you get what you pay for here. My boyfriend tried their Coffee with a Kick as well, and he got a SUBSTANTIAL amount of liquor in that jawn 🤣. Very pleased. I know it’s a long review, but I must address one final thing. All of you weirdos are always complaining about the wait, and being “pushed out.” Go work in a restaurant once in your life. Please. Learn patience. It’s worth the wait.

When you want to feel fancy, eat fancy, and just be fancy...for breakfast! This is the place!! I think my kids love it more than me. The Funky Monkey! It's not for the faint of heart...but for sure do it once! Pro tip; get a mimosa while waiting for your table!! They use top shelf everything!! Amazing atmosphere; matched with amazing food! 6/5 stars recommended! Of and yes! Gluten free, vegan options, and for all the Ron Swansons!!! The "meat and cheese" omelet! Just order 1-2-3 meat and sit back and wait!! It's amazing!

We ate here after a trip to the STL Art Museum. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. I had a gluten free deluxe pizza. We both had salads. The food was scrumptious. The salads weren’t the plain iceberg and cheese salads most restaurants have. The gluten free pizza tasted like pizza not cardboard. I only have one pic, and it’s of the pizza I had left. I took it home. Yum! My husband swiped up every last bit of sauce with his bread because it was so tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s clean and cozy with a relaxed atmosphere and Sinatra in the background. What a great way to wrap up our day in the city!

Beignet All Day is a must visit spot! The beignets are absolutely delicious, with a fantastic variety of toppings to choose from. Whether you’re in the mood for sweet or savory, there’s truly something for everyone. I tried the gluten-free beignets and added ice-cream and was blown away. They were great and every bit as indulgent as the traditional kind. Our whole family loves them & they even sell larger quantities you can bringing to gatherings. Highly recommend!

It would be nice if they offered gluten free toast or English muffin. Paying full price and not being able to have a substitution offered or even when asked for what they have in gluten free (fruit or half a waffle) is not accommodating to guests who are gluten free (not by choice). Colorado offers it, they should too.

My husband is gluten free and I am not. We had the steakhouse gf pizza, wings, garlic butter shrimp and cookies to take home. The gluten free crust is the best we've ever had from anywhere in fact I am trying to figure out how to buy them so we can make our own frozen pizzas. The garlic butter shrimp was really succulent and not overcooked. Our 20 month old loved the naked chicken wings we'll be back for the wings alone because they were that good. These cookies don't have the right to be this dang good. If you like soft oooey gooey cookies this is a must. Sadly the cookies are NOT gluten free. I unfortunately don't remember our server's name which stinks because she was probably one of the best servers we've had in the 3 years we've lived in the area. She was very attentive without being too much and super sweet to our daughter which is always appreciated

The server was pretty busy and it took maybe 20 minutes for our water order and food order to be taken, a part of our order was delivered to a different table and the people at the table actually brought it over to us which was nice. The gluten free buns that they have have the same taste as the Wendy’s gluten free buns. Overall my meal was. 5/10. I was able to eat it, unlike Wendy’s gluten free buns which I couldn’t stomach.
