Delicious- as always! - We are so thankful to have such a delicious gluten free option. Our son has celiac and must eat 100% gluten free, these cakes give us the opportunity to still enjoy and celebrate together
The staff was extremely helpful; pulled out the ingredients list to verify my allergies. Delicious AND gluten free. You have to get the flight if you are dairy and gluten free; they had four flavors I could choose from, 4!!! So the flight it was and my husband got the waffle cone because we could have that too. Must get flavor….Bee’s Knees, top 3 ice cream flavors I have ever had. This will be a repeat everytime we come to Monterey
Being gluten free, desserts are always a challenge. This was the best GF chocolate chip cookie and GF ice cream I've ever had. They had so many choices too!
Ice cream and waffle cone were delightful. I love how they have so many gluten free options. The addition of a cookie (reg or gf) is also a nice touch! The Mint Cookies n’ Cream & Peanut Butter Cup were delicious.
Such a wide range of flavors from vegan options, to so many different versions of chocolate and classics this is a for sure recommend! They have a virgin mojito and passion fruit flavour that are both vegan and so delicious on a hot day. I love that this place is also all gluten free so no need to worry about cross contamination.

Omg An’s Gelato is AMAZING. They start off by taking you on a “flavor tour” where you sample all of their flavors (about 6. They rotate their flavors every couple of weeks). Most flavors are gluten free, but let them know you have an allergy because they do have an occasional flavor that isn't GF. The staff is very knowledgeable. They even make their own GF waffle cones and occasionally GF cookies and breads that they mix into their flavors. I'm not kidding when I say that you will get HOOKED on this place. The first time I tasted their Canvas flavor (olive oil and rosemary with black salt- i know it sounds weird, but TRUST ME) it transported me to another dimension of complete bliss and euphoria with no worries in the world. It's no surprise that this place was awarded #1 Best Gelato/ ice cream in the country. The lines are always long- so expect to wait over 30 minutes on any given day. But it is worth the wait. They also have a location in Del Mar called An’s Hatmakers, and a location inside Petco Park called An's Athletic Field Services.
The ice cream is amazing, and so nice to have gluten free options! We got the triple with caramel crunch, roasted cashew, and banana nut flavors. You get so much ice cream and really amazing value, especially considering the grocery store prices of cashew ice cream. Will definitely be back!
100% gluten free gelato shop including the waffle cones!!!! I hadn’t had a waffle cone in 13+ years and enjoyed gelato twice during my visit to San Diego. 10/10 recommend!
Cute casual small cafe specializing in empanadas. Not a lot of seating outside but there's some.
Their lunch specials are a great deal. Big thing of soup a dessert a large empanada and a side salad is super filling! Empanadas are big, the crust is crispy, and the filling is super savory.
Recommend the Turkey Cranberry, original beef, and any of the breakfast ones!
They have a decent amount fried gluten free optionss as well. And their sweets I would recommend.
Amazing gluten free dessert! They have gluten free and vegan options! I haven't had churros in such a lot time. Super cute ambiance inside. Staff is a little unfriendly but that's ok. Ive been twice and I have brought my friends too!
The ice cream shop is completely gluten free and does have dairy free options. They sell gluten free cookies that are delicious and reasonably priced. The people who work there are very knowledgeable.
The lady was very helpful with my Gluten Allergy and was great with helping keep me safe . Shoutout to her i really appreciated that. They didn’t have many flavors and the ones we did get weren’t delicious. A single cone with a single scope was 8$. Wasn’t worth the money.
So exciting to see a gf/dairy free/refined sugar free ice cream in the area :)
This ice cream is good for what it is. I feel like the flavors I tried were really overwhelmed by the flavor of coconut, and honestly could benefit from some salt to round the flavors out, just from a culinary perspective.
The shop was very cute and clean, but the staff seemed to have limited knowledge about the flavors and struggled to tell me about the flavors I asked about (ex. She had no idea what was in the tropical blend…and a lot of I don’t knows, which was too bad since this was my first time here! Not really ideal, given this place seems to focus on allergens and dietary restrictions. Not the end of the world though haha
I’d give it another try if I were down in the area! It’s nice to have this option and not be worried about gluten cross contamination :)
Came in and asked for gluten free options. Server said only the vegan options were gluten free and nothing else. She said even the cookie one was gluten free which it wasn’t. There are many gluten free options besides the vegan one and she didn’t know what she was doing.
My husband and I stopped in for a quick dinner after hiking the Redwoods. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich and I got the grilled snapper (pretty sure it's rockfish). I asked for tarter sauce instead of the jalapeno jam and they were happy to accommodate. I was especially happy to see the option of a homemade gluten free bun. It was one of the best I've ever had. We shared the fries with gravy and cheese. The fries were delicious, but the melted Mexican cheese was different than what we are used to with poutine back home. I did not mind the self serve style and ordering at the counter. Our food came out very quickly. All in all, we'd recommend for a quick dinner!
Today was a hot day. After grabbing pizza next door which is conjoined with the creamery spot, that was cool! I ordered a single scoop but they allow half on half scoop of two flavors in one. I got the honey vanilla latte and Nutella bonfire s'mores. It was a great combo.
Service was kind, and they do flavor tasting if you are not sure what you want to get. They provide indoor and outdoor seating along with restrooms you can use.
Parking was convenient. The Ice cream flavors were not too sweet, it was a perfect mix in the middle. Don't worry, they have gluten free cones and ice cream for those that celiac disease!! Great spot to have ice cream.
First time and I definitely wish there was one in Lancaster. My server was super friendly and inviting. Her recommendations were on point. Had the lamb burger medium well. Juiciest burger with flavor a must try. Fresh fries with homemade thousand island Jalapeño dip and ranch. Tried the lemonade with basil different and super delish! For desert a chocolate chip shake with whip cream. Gluten free options. Only the freshest ingredients used and you can definitely taste it.
A bit pricey but really worth it. Best service ever.
Stella Jean’s has the best ice cream! Their flavors are original & also offer vegan & gluten free options. Ube Pandan is always a favorite. Currently in love with their seasonal flavor, black sesame coconut! If you haven’t been, it’s a must try. Great & consistent service from their team, especially Cesar!

Great vegan, gluten-free, and nut free ice cream options. For a person who has too many allergies, this place is awesome. Not only do they have ice cream they have ice cream cakes/pies and omg those are great too (contains gluten)!!
Mosaic has a great ambience and fantastic servers. I gave a 4 star for the food because I would prefer more gluten free options and some organic options would be a bonus. But overall Mosaic will not disappoint.
I've been coming for years. My favorite place to get a sandwich! And gelato, of course. A few gluten free pastries baked daily, great tea selection, and good coffee. Not easy for large groups but great for small get togethers. Order ahead on their site or by phone. Really friendly staff ever time.
I love ice cream. This place was so so good, maybe the best ice cream I’ve had. I got a scoop of spumoni and a scoop of chocolate peanut butter on a gluten free sugar cone.
The ice cream was delicious- made from coconut milk and was gluten free. It’s a small place and has very few seating but the chocolate ice cream that was recommended to me, was chef’s kiss and a perfect way to cool down from the LA heat.
This is a great spot for fast, tasty food—whether you’re craving a burger, chicken sandwich, or even a veggie option. They’ve also got gluten-free buns and lettuce wraps, which is always a plus.
Since it’s Pride Month 🏳️🌈, they’re offering colorful rainbow sprinkles on your shake to support GLAAD, which we love! I tried the Banana Pudding shake, and it was pretty good—loaded with crumbled vanilla wafers and fresh bananas.
Other limited-time shakes include the Oreo Cookie Funnel Cake and Campfire S’mores—definitely worth stopping in while they’re still available!
Ordering is quick and easy—they have kiosks inside, or you can order ahead online or through the app. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and out, and they even have a parking lot (a rare find in Little Italy!)
It’s a solid stop for a quick, satisfying meal—and now’s a great time to go grab a shake and show some Pride! 🌈🥤💛
Honestly so so bad. Do not go here unless you want to walk out feeling terrible in every way. For the longest time this was on the very top of my list of places i needed to try. I was so excited. I have a number of allergies and the menu seems amazing.
However the food is really really not good, not even considering the cost. More than that, i finished it feeling more bloated and nasty than i have in a long time. So for all of the things they say they are, it seems like there’s something they use in their cooking that is not good. So not safe for those with sensitive guts. I got the rad thai, their take on pad thai and it was mushy and bad and almost tasteless. It came with a side of tasteless greens and tasteless and dry quinoa all for 31$. They used thin clear noodles instead of a flat noodle. Pad thai in and of itself is gluten free besides the soy sauce so it’s not hard to make a healthier version. Next time I know to make it at home because my god did they mess this one up. Just mush, no texture, no flavor, and 4 pieces of the tiniest broccoli mixed in and maybe 15 strands of carrot. $31.
On top of that the cashier was unbelievably rude and short with me totally uncalled for. And also just… weird? She took my order and then later when it came out even though i was the only other person in the restaurant she half-yelled out “rad thai” “rad thai” a number of times in a really irritated voice. The whole time i was standing pretty much right in fromt of her and there wasnt anyone else and she was yelling out into the distance in an irritated voice. Like girl wth 😂. It was 7pm too it wasnt even late. Also while i was waiting for my order i asked about the ice cream and she was texting the whole time and pretended not to hear me the first time. And then was like so irritated rolled her eyes at me and like mumbled ill get to you get out of the way there are other customers here. There were no other customers. Tho some customers came in 2 minutes later, i guess she was pre-empting the future lmao. She was acting like this with me the moment i walked in.
The ambiance is bad too. It is not comfortable at all to sit and dine in. That might be on purpose. I guess they dont want you there.
So if you want to feel like garbage both in your head and in your stomach this is the place for you. Would give 1 star but 2 for what they represent. Glad there’s a vegan and supposedly healthy restaurant here but that’s all they can get credit for because you dont leave it feeling healthy.
This place is a TREASURE to anyone looking for the most delicious DAIRY FREE and GLUTEN FREE ice cream sandwiches!! Try every flavor- they are all exceptional! The friendliest people work here and it is the cutest shop!

I’m on gluten free and dairy free diet due to my sensitivities and this is the first time I enjoyed ice cream/gelato in a very long time. They have a good selection of GF and DF gelatos. They also have GF cookies and cakes that look very yummy. Will definitely come back for more!
First impression was good overall. Seating outside. Vegan and gluten free options available if you have allergies, but unfortunately they ran out of gluten free cones. Variety of flavors, but they don't give samples which sucks, because what if you don't like what you ordered...? The staff seemed annoyed and not too keen on the small talk, but they properly had a long day, so please have your orders ready when it's your turn. Spent about $26 (not including tip) for 3 items. If you like your shakes thick I wouldn't recommend the soft serve milkshake (it's soft serve...), but the homemade waffle cones are a nice touch (thin/crispy, not hard/crunchy)
Great vegan options that are clearly marked! They are also very aware of allergies such as gluten free. I got the peanut butter ice cream 50/50 with a scoop of cake batter cookie dough. Very yummy! Cute shop with bright sunlight and a nice outdoor patio.
Gluten free waffle cone and ice cream.... felt like I was I Heaven!!! Such a special treat.... YUMMY!!! Thank you for having gluten-free options... especially the gluten-free waffle cones!!!
