Wonderful South Indian food served by delightful, attentive, waiters.
I am not gluten intolerant but there is a distinct difference between this and other Indian restaurants. The meal does not weigh heavy afterwards. It’s very noticeable.
Try the salty lassi (lusi) and the paper dosa. It’s easy to over order but the waiters offer to bag the leftovers.
Just go. You’ll love it.
All celiac. Food was fabulous. Had chicken and paneer pakora with mint, Punjabi, and mango chilli sauce. Also lentil coriander dhal with rice and chips and cheese. For 3 of us had next day leftovers. Matthew took great care of us.
Great Indian food and everything is gluten free! Nice lunch special. Helpful staff. Very spacious restaurant with bathroom available. Easy to find street parking nearby.
A lovely meal for our daughters graduation made even better by welcoming our little grand daughter as well. Good range of gluten free options available
Ah Dishoom! We had a business brunch meeting, not our first, we love this place in the mornings. Bottomless chai and chocolate chai just keep appearing at your elbow, staff are so good. Other coffees and teas also excellent. I'm gluten free so the granola bowl is perfect - granola, vanilla yogurt and colourful fresh fruit always make me so happy. Everyone else went for wraps or the omelette or the bottomless porridge - something for everyone including the dairy-free folk too. We'll be back. Set over three floors, but very popular so do book

Food was delicious staff very friendly and helpful. My only little issue was we ordered the sharer street food meal. It was advertised as gluten free option but we weren’t told that that the starter and bread were not gluten free. If we had known that we would have ordered differently.
Quite nice, both the pakora starters and the mains (chicken korma and lamb rogan josh). I appreciated the care in asking for allergies and was told pakoras are fried separately for gluten free customers.
Quite possibly the nicest indian food ive had in years, with a huge range of food, and variation for veggie, vegan and celiac, there is very little (if anything) to be unhappy about. Staff were friendly and patient and the price was very reasonable for the amount of food!
I was coming from a long day trip and I found this lovely Indian restaurant next to the station- the food was great - the accommodate the gluten free and vegan request !!! Muchas gracias !!!(Argentina)
Excellent early evening meal at Spice Tandoori, Fort William. Menu well marked up for Gluten Free options. I would say it's the best Garlic Chilli Lamb dish I have ever had. Coconut Rice was awesome.
Had a very enjoyable meal. Great gluten free choices if you are a coeliac so a real treat. Curries cooked to perfection! Ali very welcoming, great service and many thanks for the free starters. Highly recommend a visit when in Glasgow.
Vibrant throughout the flavours of the food, the decor and the staff. Very accommodating and helpful with my questions on there gluten free protocol as I have celiac.i felt safe and the food is delicious. I will be back
This is my go-to for Indian food in Glasgow. I regularly order takeaway and it’s always consistently great – full of flavour and really well made. I visited the restaurant for the first time today and it was just as good in person. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help.
I’m gluten free and really appreciate how many of the curries and sides on the menu are clearly marked and safe to eat – there's loads of choice and everything I’ve tried has been spot on.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality Indian food in Glasgow!
We have been there for a social work-related dinner. Food arrived quickly, without making anyone wait too long, and it was delicious. I eat gluten free and they were super prepared.
Went for just a light dinner and had the vegetarian/vegan pakora and bhindi bhaji which very really delicious!! (Also made with gram flour in case you want a gluten-free dish). The staff was very lovely, we had a great time. Thank you!
It was a nice restaurant, with really welcoming and polite staff. The food was somewhat bland for me, slightly hit and miss. Other people seem to love it, though, so it might just be me. They had a variety of gluten-free and dairy free choices.

Restaurant was busy, we arrived early, 17.30, without a booking, there were no free tables, however, the senior staff accommodated us by having us sitting in the rear section of the restaurant. We sat with carry out drivers. Made the atmosphere a bit better, we did not mind sitting alone as we were going to be alone with a carry out if there were no tables.
Staff were attentive, apologetic that they had temporarily forgotten us between courses. Resolved of course when our main meals were ready. We had not noticed any delay happily chatting through our popadoms and spiced onions.
Main meals were well presented and taste was as expected. My first ever garlic nan sampled was tasty but I thought was not enhancing the curry. Plain nan next time.
Our quick two courses over we paid the bill, complimented the staff on their service and thanked the staff for helping us out with a table.
Meal was tasty and as expected Gluten free without worrying. It’s certainly a restaurant we will revisit again.
The restaurant on leaving was full as well as a couple of visitors waiting for carry out orders.
I would certainly recommend booking if intending to visit at the weekend. Our same day online booking attempt around 17.15 failed. I suppose as too close to the actual time. Turned out our booking was not needed as we were accommodated by quick thinking staff.

Large choice of delicious sharable little indian dishes. Lots of gluten free options.
I so wish we could offer higher than a 5 star rating for service in this restaurant. There is a very good reason they won an award for service!
While at the buffet my daughter asked if the pakora were gluten free as she has an allergy to wheat, the waiter told her no, so she avoided them.
Ten minutes later, the waiter appeared at our table with two specially made gluten free pakora especially for her! Such amazing service.
Personally I don't eat meat but I do love the sauce that they cook it in, so I had loads of different sauces with plenty of naan and rice to soak it all up.
On the subject of rice, if you like rice pudding, I HIGHLY recommend theirs (in the desert section).
Super delicious food and most is gluten-free. Our server was really knowledgeable about gluten allergies and we all really enjoyed our food. Best curries we’ve had in awhile!
Great value. Small portions but easy to share. It may be street food but the cafe atmosphere and the attention of the waiting staff makes it an enjoyable indoor experience. A large variety of gluten free options
Thanks

Stopped by for dinner last night and was very good. The only downside is on the mixed grill platter the serving size is a little small with only one lambchop and one kabob. The food was delicious and though I couldn't have the Naan bread, it looked very good. My wife had the chicken rogan josh, and was very good as well. If gluten free, highly recommend the place for good food. Our waitress Mahima was very nice and super friendly towards our 3 year old.
The best way to define ranjit’s to me is straightfoward. The focus is on the quality of food and it never disappoints. The place itself is interesting, but be mindful you might need to share a table with strangers if it’s busy. In my experience it’s always fine, but might not be your cup of tea. Don’t forget to try the cheese pakora, the daal, and the chickpeas curry. Almost everything in the menu is gluten free, including bread, and vegetarian. Highly recommended
The food was superb and there was no problem for me to eat gluten free! And everyone was so friendly!
It was so delicious we decided to go back the second evening we stayed here. I wish we could take this restaurant back home to Belgium!
Madha – A Taste of Home in Glasgow
I recently had a wonderful family dinner at Madha – North & South Indian Kitchen, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a clean, elegant ambiance that instantly made us feel comfortable.
We started our meal with a refreshing lassi, which was perfectly creamy and balanced in sweetness—just like how it’s made back home. For the main course, we indulged in a chicken biryani that was bursting with authentic flavors, Butter chicken paired with freshly made, soft naan that complemented the meal beautifully. Every bite reminded me of home-cooked food, rich in tradition and taste.
One thing I truly appreciated was the vegan and gluten-free options available on the menu, ensuring that everyone, regardless of dietary needs, could enjoy a wholesome meal.
If you’re missing home-cooked meals, don’t think twice—Madha is the place to be. The authentic flavors, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a comforting Indian dining experience in Glasgow. Highly recommended!
Another visit to Cinnamon restaurant in Inverness. Fantastic food and service. Gluten Free dishes on the menu with great choice. Will call again next month.
Absolutely fantastic food, served in a beautiful, relaxed environment by staff who really know their menu well.
Brilliant, helpful and knowledgeable staff - happy to answer queries and requests and really understand special dietary requirements/food allergies. Even made me a Gluten free chipati - delish!!
Would definitely recommend - love this place! 👌💜
Best to book a table at busy times.
Home delivery also available and easy to order online. Food arrives in a timely manner and is always fresh and hot - never disappoints... 👌😊
This has been our family favourite since we moved to Helensbrugh. Last weekend we had a large party of family and visitors, who came with us for an amazing meal at Annaya's. The food is spectacular, they have great specials and there is something for everyone. To make it even better, service is always warm and friendly. Also my sister is coeliac and she has always had great food here and never had a problem. We love it here and we're very grateful how amazing they were for our large party last weekend!
I ate there on Sunday with my son - he has gluten intolerance and we are both vegan. Miss D took our order and checked carefully that everything served would be appropriate! The food was really excellent - best food I have had in a long time - eating out can be disappointing but at Rishi's we really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and attention to detail. The staff there are just excellent! Well done Miss D and everyone else at Rishi's!
Great food, service and decor. Young helpful waiting staff and you get the sense the kitchen are passionate about getting the dishes spot on for each order.
Dietary needs catered for carefully in the menu: gluten free, vegan options.
Lovely menu with most dishes gluten free. Very amiable and attentive staff.
We went on Saturday prior to a matinee at the Tron Theatre so had the pre-theatre menu which is very reasonable. Music is played at a suitable volume to allow you to chat without having to raise your voice!
Ideal location for the theatre too.
Excellent food, very friendly staff and they were very careful about the food when we told them that one of us was coeliac.
The restaurant was clean and the prices very reasonable. Thank you
Fantastic meal and great service. The food was so tasty and the staff were so accommodating recommending dishes that my friend, who is coeliac, could have. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back
Great restaurant. Lived in the area for a while but the first time we've tried it. Food was excellent, really fresh and tasty. Staff also very knowledgeable and helpful around gluten/dairy free options and when asked were able to speak around the menu items with confidence. Service really relaxed and friendly. Great atmosphere within. Highly recommended.
