Informal and familiar place. The space is medium-sized, the kitchen is open and also the wood oven for gluten-free pizza made by them. Simple and convivial mise en place, excellent for a pizza with friends and family. Place suitable for celiacs, they have gluten-free chips and in fact dedicated pizza with a dedicated oven. Very appreciable the fact that the gluten-free pizza is made to perfection and also very good, as well as the offer of desserts with and without gluten. We ate very well, even the normal pizza is very nicely presented. I can only recommend this pizzeria especially for the quality price and the welcome and the service that remains informal but attentive and not invasive. We will return! Unfortunately I did not take photos of the gluten-free pizza because we ate it immediately but I assure you it is worth it.
Warm and welcoming environment. Great food and wine! Perfect for celiac people! Maximum attention to intolerances and allergies. Room with fireplace and embers for cooking meat. I highly recommend it! The staff were very kind and very competent!
I was there for a baptism to which I was invited. Restaurant with rooms on several floors, one of which is an attic accessible by lift. A beautiful, well-kept garden, good food, also suitable for celiacs.
Wonderful location on an open terrace in the shade of climbing plants with a view of the lake. Elegant, top-quality table settings, excellent service in all aspects, discreet as I like it but fast and very attentive. I have celiac disease and almost all the dishes on the menu were adaptable to me too. The food was truly superb, carefully chosen dishes, porchetta, calamari and fried courgette flowers were top dishes, simply exceptional. If we ever come back to the area we will definitely return. There were 4 of us, and all 4 agreed unanimously. Highly recommended
The best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. All of their pizzas can be made gluten free and they’re covered in the oven so that no gluten gets onto them.

We ate there with our children a few years ago. We didn't like it then either. This time, we thought maybe things had changed since the gluten-free pizza was so highly praised. But it was very disappointing. The pizza base was a frozen, mass-produced item, probably from S...r, and the tomato sauce was simply passata with no seasoning. It was one of the worst gluten-free pizzas I've ever had.
My husband's regular pizza tasted of nothing either. The tomato puree base was, of course, the same as mine. And the dough tasted of nothing either. The toppings were simply slapped on without any care. The grumpy waiter was the icing on the cake of our restaurant visit.
I came to this restaurant with a group of friends, I took a gluten-free pizza which was brought to me still cold, the mozzarella wasn't even melted (I think it was a dough already prepared and frozen), the cake which cost us €6 each was served to us as not even a bricklayer with a trowel would have done, without even talking about the rudeness of the staff in responding to our requests... We definitely won't be back!!!!!

Nice roof terrace, great view. Gluten-free pasta and risotto possible, unfortunately no gluten-free pizza. Gluten-free bread was served. Service very attentive, prices okay. 7 p.m. for dinner is possible without a reservation (2 people), shortly afterwards many tables were occupied.
A little expensive the desserts but otherwise good value for money and a lot of attention for gluten-free with dedicated typical dishes. Beautiful panorama with lake view. Excellent service.
I can't comment on the food, but the parking attendant was excellent. He assisted with parking and inquired about a reservation. We didn't have one, but he was very helpful and checked with the staff for availability. Unfortunately, they were fully booked. He even recommended another great restaurant and helped us navigate the busy road when leaving. I've heard they have great gluten-free options here. I will definitely return in the future, but with a reservation.
Hotel restaurant 🍽️
I wasn't staying at the hotel but came here for lunch.
OK to bring your dog 🐶✨
The location was great, and all the staff were very kind and polite.
Pasta and bread are also gluten-free.
The olive oil and balsamic that were served with the bread were also very delicious and I liked them.
The dish I ordered, octopus stew with tomatoes? The Vongole Pasta and Tiramisu were also very delicious and I liked them, I recommend them 😍
My husband took me here as a special honeymoon treat. They remembered my gluten allergy I had mentioned when booking and were very knowledgeable about this and kind. We were treated with great respect and care by restaurant staff and the food was delicious. Thank you!!
Birthday dinner. All good as always, all quality raw materials...innovative but delicious dishes. It's totally worth a visit... very kind staff like Karim who took care of me as I am lactose and gluten intolerant... a heartfelt thank you to all of you. 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝
We had the best 3 course meal there and we are glutenfree vegans, so that’s no small feat! They made such a great effort to make the experience memorable for us, and it truly was. Grazie mille per tutti!
I have been to this fantastic location as a client, guest and groom and I was immediately amazed by the courtesy and professionalism of the staff, the location is similar to the one you find in fairy tales, full of details and magic. At all events the food is always delicious and I would like to make a note to address food intolerances: my celiac wife ate very well as did other guests with other tolerances. Truly a unique place! super highly recommended to everyone! 🤩🤩🤩 thanks again!
This place is a gem for celiac. The food is not the most amazing I’ve ever had BUT the owner is incredible, such a funny people person, and cares so much about celiac safety bc his daughter has celiac. The gluten free bread is amazing, the view is wonderful, and the wine list has some true hidden gems. Highly recommend!
Great hospitality and great food! Fast service and ready to satisfy every need!!!!
Lots of attention to gluten-free products! Great lake view and even though we ate outside we didn't suffer from the heat!!! I highly recommend it!!!!
We were hoping for good things tonight after some doozies so far this week. Ristorante Bilacus did not disappoint.
A beautifully presented restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating situated on the famous steps of Salita Serbelloni in Bellagio. Paul had again prebooked and paid a deposit so again we had high yet cautious hopes of things to come. We were sat on the terrace and it was a lovely fairly intimate setting which was surprising as it’s on such a main walk through. The staff were AMAZING 🥰 attentive, friendly, helpful, industrious and did I mention attentive ? Our wine glasses were never empty, my seat was pulled out for me when I stood up and every request was met with graciousness.
The food….the food was sublime ! We had a burrata and caviar appetiser to share - sweet baby tomatoes and the creamiest, lightest burrata. For primo I had risotto - al dente and perfetto- and Paul had Gnocchi with duck ragu- divine. We then had the fish catch of the day to share - delicate sea bass with a very manageable side of potatoes and veg lightly flavoured with fennel. Again my gluten free needs were met with knowledge and advice that left me feeling comfortable and we left feeling sated and sleepy 😂 thank you to all the staff of Bilacus - we will be back ( on Wednesday actually 😂 )
Grazie mille, Paul and Zoë
We had a fantastic Lake Como trip the summer of 2024! One of the great finds was the Rodrigo Ristorante Pizzeria. Our youngest daughter has celiac, so finding places that have both gluten free options and take precautions to not cross-contaminate can be difficult. She enjoyed pasta one night and pizza another night, and the owner took photos to show the pizza in a separate pan. He was amazing and really cared about our daughter to make sure everything was done right. All the food was great and the service was outstanding! Please stop by if you're near the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.
I found Locanda San Martino online, doing a Google search for inns and taverns on Lake Como.
I was looking for a place at high altitude, where I could sit, eat something local and admire the splendor of Lake Como.
I booked with WhatsApp at around 11pm and shortly after, I was immediately contacted by the owner (Paola) confirming my booking (I didn't expect to receive a confirmation before the next day, but Mrs. Paola is on the ball!).
We arrived the next day at 12.45pm, in this little village, suspended in time. Spectacular lake view. The Inn itself is small, capable of hosting less than 30 people, but the welcome from Paola and her husband made us feel at home.
The menu is small, not many things, but done well, also because there were only two of them doing everything...very good.
Despite the many things to do and about a dozen customers to look after, Paola and her husband never missed a smile and a few chats, even in English with other customers present at the inn, still demonstrating, as if there were the need, that Italian hospitality is one of the best in the world.
Yesterday we had an Italian appetizer, a timeless classic, cured meats and cheeses... delicious.
THEN we continued with tagliatelle with mushrooms and chopped hazelnuts, equally good; By the way, my wife is gluten intolerant and Mrs. Paola opted for a gluten free pasta (Rummo brand), thanks to which my wife was able to enjoy the dish like me.
Small wine list, not very pretentious, but very appropriate for the place where we stopped.
I loved the passion with which Paola and her husband do this job, the effort, the sacrifice of doing something that pleases and gives satisfaction.
A heartfelt thank you to both of you for giving us such a regenerating lunch for us, after a summer of work.
We will definitely be back next time, as long as Paola tells us her husband's name ;D.
GO THERE!

No one can take away a nice 10/10 from him. All perfect. Quick service, precise and very friendly staff. Menu variety and quality, remarkable! Finally someone who cares about us celiacs. Price slightly lower than average. Very clean bathrooms. Passed with full marks
We had reserved to be on the safe side. There was delicious pizza, delicious pasta and the tiramisu is hard to describe, so delicious. The way up the mountain is definitely worth it. Luckily, pasta and pizza are also gluten-free!
