It is a place where you want to return again and again... Because you find everything you are looking for - excellent food, perfect service and pleasant location The name "Gli Attortellati" can already say a lot... It was chosen by the first owner, the mother of the large family and the meaning is the people who eat with gusto, who like good food... Of course with the name so in Maremma you can't "dirty" the plate with sauce by putting two measly spoonfuls of pasta on top. The Attortellatis are a large family and apart from the restaurant they have run for more than 25 years, they are an agricultural company and produce livestock, fruit and vegetables... Therefore everything you eat in their restaurant is zero km food. All the pasta, gnocchi, tortelli, pici etc. are handmade, on the same day of consumption... The superlative bread is made in a wood oven.. The meat melts in your mouth, the vegetables from the garden are delicious despite the fact that they are simple! The desserts are all made there, of a great choice and are delicious... The portions are plentiful. For gluttony you order more courses and then you're sorry that you don't have the capacity of a camel that can accumulate water for the future, so Gli Attortellati was enough for you to go without the minimum food for a week 🤣 The service is excellent but not because the waiters with white gloves serve you but because they immediately make you feel at home... All the waiters are smiling, they welcome you like a friend who has come to visit them, they recommend the dishes, they tell you what you find on the plate, they play pranks. The place is rustic, in the Tuscan countryside. The rooms are old stables, surrounded by the garden. There is ample parking inside and also a small pitch where children can play but also adults to arrange food🤣 The Attortellati are very famous not only in Grosseto but also outside... Many tourists who have been to them willingly return not only because they had a good time but also because unlike other restaurants, here they don't make a difference in price and tourists pay the same as the locals. Another important thing. Here you can buy homemade jams, vegetables in vinegar (the jars of these are in plain sight throughout the place) not to mention the direct sale of fruit and vegetables. The Attortellati are so famous that during holidays and weekends they are forced to make a fixed menu (because on those days there are 250 people to be served) but this absolutely does no harm because there are three menus to choose from and you will never be disappointed... Yes Vegetarians and celiacs will also enjoy it. I highly recommend you go and dive into the best Marremano food!!!

The venue is intimate, well-kept and pleasant. For us, coming here has become a certainty, we are now regular and satisfied customers. You can see that there is love for what you do, thanks to these two fantastic sisters and the mother in the back. For me as a celiac everything is excellent and tasty and Camelia always goes out of her way to prepare delicious dishes for me. Thank you, we love you
