The staff were excellent, especially Bethany: friendly and attentive, but not intrusive - knowledgeable regarding allergies too. The gluten free pizza was good but not any better than any other chain restaurant (annoying to pay extra for a GF base too!). The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and great music. I would definitely return.

Excellent food and service. Enjoyed my birthday lunch and the staff made an effort. I never like the "Optional" 10% service added for me as like to leave a tip. Overall an excellent lunch with fantastic Gluten Free options.

Ooh this was lovely! Great that this place had a gluten free menu too! We stayed a night in York, never having done so before and was a bit stumped for tea. So we just wandered through the streets and came across D'vine on Swinegate. It put us off initially as there was nobody else dining and even when we left there was only one other table in, but to be fair it was the Monday of the first week back to school for kids and parents. Inside was slightly dimmed lighting which gave a cosy romantic feel. We enjoyed their choice of music. Everything was clean and tidy. They have clear glass panels with nice black designs on separating various areas, which I particularly liked. The food a starter (deep fried Brie with a jam and a sourdough breads) for hubby gluten free (creamy mushrooms with breads) our mains were the same spaghetti in a creamy sauce with chicken and mushrooms, only hubbys was gluten free. The food was all hot and fresh. Staff were lovely.

Lovely experience as always at Pizza Express on Museum Street. Food was fast to arrive and our waitress was super friendly and helpful throughout. As a Coeliac UK accredited restaurant, I always feel safe eating here. Our waitress even went to double check that the garlic butter was still gluten free as the gf label was no longer on the menu for this item. There is also 25% student discount available 6 days a week which is a fantastic offering. Food delicious as usual. Will be back soon!

Front of house staff were 5 star & very apologetic with the poor standard of food. Chef was 1 star & rubbish with our gluten free options. Burnt the starters & didn't even manage a decent pasta dish for main course.

The staff were lovely, so this comment is not about them at all, but Pizza Express as a chain. I have been to 2 different restaurants now and have to eat gluten free as I have coeliac disease. The menu says that there are 2 GF bases that can be ordered for pizza, but the classic base seems to be the the only one available. It is good there is a GF offer, but it's tiny when compared to the other bases so is rather disappointing and costs the same as a larger one. Can this be sorted out as my choices are limited as it is!

Amazing night out. All the seafood is fresh from Hodgeson’s Service was attentive without being intrusive. Timings on the courses were spot on. Wine list is comprehensive with some good choices. Portion size is generous without being too much. Gluten free options were also plentiful. Will be adding Little Italy to our regular restaurant rotation.
