If you’re EVER near Denver, this is a must stop. I live in Colorado Springs and have already warned my partner that their gluten free Nutella pizza will be a pregnancy craving in the future we’re def driving for. 😂 They use gluten removed wheat starch from Italy (celiac safe but not safe for a wheat allergy) and separate prep areas and ovens for gluten free orders. Their fried eggplant is also one of the best meals I’ve ever had from a restaurant. They do have vegan cheese options too.
We had breakfast there twice while staying at the hotel. The service is excellent and the Eggs Benedict was amazing. The use polenta instead of bread and proscuitto instead of the more traditional Canadian bacon. I would like to go back and try dinner here as the ambiance is really cool. Big windows facing the street. I am Celiac and they have lots of Gluten Free options in addition to a dedicated GF prep space. They take it very seriously and I was safe here. The bar area is really cool on the corner of the building.
I can’t over emphasize how amazing our time was here. We let them know in advance it was our wedding anniversary and there wasn’t a single staff member we interacted with that didn’t make a point to tell us “Happy Anniversary.” - it was so lovely! They even gave us a special Anniversary menu!
Every single sip and bite was exquisite. We’ve been to Italy and we’ve eaten true Italian food- this is the real deal. But what really seals this as a “must go” is the service. Brittany, our server, was so amazing. She made us feel welcome and appreciated. She was extremely knowledgeable and truly elevated our experience. Brett and Connor were both extremely helpful as well. Connor was our sommelier recommending the perfect bottle of wine in our price point. I nearly forgot to mention that I’m gluten feee and Brittany made sure that everything I ate was safe. She knew the menu top to bottom.
Overall, 11/10 ❤️ Brittany tipped the scale!
Spectacular food! The staff were super friendly and attentive and were able to accommodate for a severe gluten allergy. We had the Vodka Penne (with gluten free pasta), and the sausage french bread pizza. Both were really tasty, lots of flavor. We also ordered one of their gluten free cannolis and a piece of strawberry cheesecake to-go and were very pleased with both. I am not gluten free but my wife is, and her pasta and cannoli didn't taste any different from traditional recipes! I would actually order it myself. The restaurant had a cool atmosphere. It's a pretty small place (only 10 or so tables) with family photos on the walls.
Amazing experience, staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Ordered a skillet pizza since I have never tried one and it was amazing. The triple pepper pizza was also great. They have a great selection of Gluten Free pizzas and cauliflower crust as well. If you're keto this is the pizza place to go to!
The restaurant has premade gluten free crusts they can use for the pizza and to make cheesy bread. You can definitely tell the crust is pre-made but the toppings tasted fresh and they had some of the best gf cheesy bread I’ve had in Colorado Springs! The salad I got on the side was also large and filling and they use a separate baking dish for gluten free items + will change gloves and be careful about cross contact.
Don’t bother with this place, you’ll leave with an empty wallet and stomach.
We’ve been wanting to try Restaurant Olivia for a while and it was disappointing to say the least. We spent $200 (for two people) on bad food. The service was great, but the food is way overpriced, teeny tiny portions, and everything was super salty. The jovial gluten free pasta that you can buy at the grocery store is 5million times better than their “homemade” gluten free pasta. We literally had to go to chipotle after because we were starving. Worst food we’ve had in a long time, so sad.
Best gluten free pizza you can find! Not hard, stiff crust like most others. And they have a large size gf pizza which is almost unheard of! My go-to for pizza 100%
This is a tale of two dinners. Had it just been my dinner, this would have been 5 stars all the way. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
My wife, who has celiac, loved her peach salad, but absolutely disliked their version of a gf pizza. By the time service got back to us for a check in, I was already done with my meal. They did make it up to us with free dessert, but we do wish she had been able to try the gf pasta.
I can say the elk bolognese, the pumpkin cheesecake, and the bone marrow appetizer were all out of this world. As mentioned, my wife started with the peach salad and she thought it was delicious and a unique interpretation of the dish. The drinks were also fabulous, though they took way too long to get when we were sitting right next to the bar.
All in all, a great meal, and we will be back to see if we can bump it up to a five all the way around.
This became one of my favorite places when I became Celiac. I’m not sure if the portion sizes have gone down considerably, but I wouldn’t recommmend getting food to go on a specialty occasion such as Mother’s Day, etc.
The food is amazing! You can tell it’s made with love, however the portion size I received on Mother’s Day could’ve easily fed my toddler. I think they were super busy just trying to keep up on orders so the food was being portioned out scarcely. For $39 for a gluten free marinara spaghetti I expected a little more; especially in these economically tough times.
What an amazing restaurant this is! I have to eat gluten-free and their pizza was absolutely amazing! Not only that my daughters told me that’s the best pasta that they’ve ever had! And just when I thought the food was amazing, I experienced the amazing service! I absolutely would recommend eating here. Thank you to the manager for taking care of me with my dietary needs as well

My husband and an our 2 friends had dinner here. I am celiac, and I was so pleased to see such a large gluten free menu. They even made me gf bread to enjoy while the others had regular bread. I had the chicken and sausage visuvio, and my husband had chicken Marsala. We both loved our dishes; great flavor, good portions, good presentation. Our server Josh was very good, he did a great job of checking in. I will say the food and drinks were slow to get to us, but it was worth the wait, so I still feel good about my 5 stars. The restaurant was clean, and the rest of the staff were all polite and pleasant. Thanks for offering such a robust GF menu!
Food was good and would likely be even better eating in; we got delivery. Highly recommend their signature peach bread pudding-style dessert. And really appreciated that they offered a gluten free pasta option.
As my doctor says, I REALLY have celiac, and I seriously have to watch what I eat. Let me tell you, Urban made not only the BEST gluten free pizza, but wings also and they were EXTREMELY careful about preparing it!!! Only place I'll eat pizza when I'm in Longmont!!!
I have a severe gluten and dairy allergy and I order gluten free crust and vegan cheese and have never gotten sick. They make the gluten free pizza in a designated area to try and prevent any cross contamination. I drive 60 miles one way to eat at this restaurant because it is so good!
By far the best Italian I've had in Colorado. On par with North side Italian in Boston. Their extensive gluten free menu is also an added bonus for my wife. Family friendly, date night, they even have a bar with a TV for sports viewers. Just go and thank me later.
This was some of the best pizza! So good! Their gluten free pizza was 10/10. The crust was one of the best I have ever had. It was great having a gluten free option. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good pizza place in Buena Vista!
We came last year for dinner to our annual dance conference and had such an amazing meal we couldn’t wait to come back again this year! Great gluten free options, amazing black squid pasta too.
I was misguided by the best reviews in town. The pizza is very average, especially for the high price. Very skinny on ingredients and the crust wasn't great. On a positive note, the gluten free crust was remarkable. I would order both pizzas gluten free next time if I liked them.
Okay, so we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory the other night, and I just have to say, our server Ashley was amazing! Seriously, she made the whole experience. She was so friendly and attentive, always checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. My friend has a gluten allergy, and Ashley was so great about it. She knew exactly what she could and couldn't have and made sure her meal was totally safe. It was such a relief, and it meant my friend could actually relax and enjoy her food.
Ashley was also just super personable and fun to talk to. She seemed to genuinely care about making sure we had a good time. Honestly, she's one of, if not THE best server I've ever had. If you go to the Old Spaghetti Factory, definitely ask for Ashley! She's the s***
Tried this place for the first time after the new ownership took over. I was worried that my favorite sandwich (the Buttafucco) wasn't going to be the same anymore. But it was delicious! I get the gluten free focaccia bread - which I'm so happy they didn't change it.
If you're looking for authentic, high-quality pizza in Parker, CO, Mici Italian is a fantastic choice.
I stopped in and ordered a personal 10-inch Caprarola pizza, swapping the green peppers for pepperoncini, and it did not disappoint.
The crust was excellent—thin, crisp on the outside, yet soft enough to fold.
The toppings were generous and well-balanced, making each bite flavorful and satisfying.
The atmosphere is cozy, and while it’s a smaller spot, there’s plenty of parking available. Service was great—friendly, efficient, and welcoming.
They have a straightforward menu with a nice selection of beverages, including alcohol.
One thing that sets Mici apart is their commitment to quality ingredients.
They make their dough fresh daily, use a family recipe for their red sauce, and top their pizzas with hormone-free mozzarella.
You can choose between their signature red sauce or an olive oil base, and they also offer calzones with various fillings.
For those with dietary preferences, they have a gluten-free crust option, and their pizzas come in 10-inch and 16-inch sizes.
Families will appreciate the dine-in deal where kids eat for just $4.99.
Plus, they offer free delivery for orders over $40 and a loyalty program with weekly freebies and everyday savings.
Mici Italian is family-founded, and it shows in the care they put into their food.
If you appreciate fresh, simple, and well-made pizza, this place is worth a visit.
I will be back!
Good food and service. Food was over-salted. Atmosphere a bit crowded with so many tables but we were happy to get in and did enjoy our meal. Gluten friendly!
