I am gluten-free, and this restaurant came highly recommended by friends who are not. But so many items on the menu were marked gluten free and they provide gluten free bread if you ask! The bread was crunchy and delicious. I got the shrimp and risotto, and my husband got the fish (Triple Tail) special. Seriously, amazing. We couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was.
Perfect food! We ordered the cannelloni… and it was DELICIOUS!!!
For celiacs, they have GLUTEN-FREE pizza and pasta options!!!
Jenny served us very politely and graciously! Thank you so much for your kindness!
Good food and good prices too!
This place is worth visiting!!!

very fresh pasta, great taste & athmosphere. my ravioli a bit cold from inside but really good. we had gluten free penne short rib, paparedelle frutti di mare & ravioli of the day. with octopus entry which was also soft and fresh. great place!
Late night find for the family, after our flight was delayed arriving into Naples. What an outstanding meal we had, and the service was top notch.
We arrived around 1030pm or so. It was lively inside with music and folks having a good time. We sat on the patio with great weather. No issue that we were a family with kids while it was mostly adults in the restaurant.
Our waiter was outstanding, and had great recommendations. For appetizers, the mussels were great, as was the carpaccio. The bread was so good that we needed a few extra portions.
My son said that the only pizza he's enjoyed as much was in Naples Italy, so they're clearly doing it well here in Naples Florida. I was recommended the cannelloni and it was perhaps the best I have ever had - pasta perfect, sauce perfect, just nailed it. Also gluten free pasta and/or pizza if that's something you need.
Really glad we found this place. Great start to our trip.
As Italians, we decided to try this place in Naples as our first evening here. Attracted by the menu and above all by the gluten free options we stopped without a reservation, after waiting for about 1 hour (there were really a lot of people) they kindly found us a table. Even though the owner was very busy, he found a place for us and made us sit. The service in general is average, twice they brought us two dishes that were supposed to be gluten free but which were not (presence of bread on the plate) but the friendliness and timeliness of the owner corrected the oversights. The food is very good and truly plentiful, the prices in line with the place. The place is very beautiful and dining out was magical. 5 stars for the excellent dishes, homemade, and above all gluten free (homemade gluten free pizza, excellent gluten free caprese cake), excellent pappardelle with pesto and prawns and also the tagliolini alla pescatora, I highly recommend this place for Italians and otherwise! Well done!
Ordered delivery which was very fast. Had the gluten free/dairy free cheese and sausage pizza, so good. My husband and children had the hand tossed sausage and said it was very close to actual Italian pizza. So good.
This was Noodles restaurant. The new owners have renovated the restaurant to give it more of an urban feel. The outside is clean and manicure. Aliyah gave us OUTSTANDING service. The band Manhattan Connection was engaging many of the happy patrons. They played great music. The entrees were cooked to perfection. We enjoyed our evening. Will continue to visit the restaurant. My husband enjoyed Bayou pasta and I LOVED the gluten free Artichoke Chicken pasta.🇱🇷😇
Great spot for dinner on the water in Naples! Gorgeous view! Love that they offer gluten free options.
Shoutout to Stefan our waiter.
He offered great service and was very friendly!
Highly recommend this if you’re in Naples!
Usually stop in when in the area because my husband and I enjoy the cauliflower (gluten free) crust pizzas. The regular and margherita style with added pineapple and mushrooms was really good. Pizzas tasted fresh and crust was thin and crispy. Josh, our server was great. Atmosphere was quiet and laid back. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. All in all, a decent meal experience.
The BEST gluten free pizza i have eaten. Loved the sauce too. I am from NJ, living in Naples now. Hard to find good pizza down here. My hubby loved his Margarita pizza too. Our new favorite once a week meal.
The service was excellent, but our food was less than desirable. My gluten-free pasta fell apart as I ate it, and my salmon was so overcooked that it was unpalatable. The worst offense was that between a basic salad and a pasta dish, our bill came out to a whopping $80. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, I’d look elsewhere.
My family and I have been patrons of this restaurant for 2 years and highly recommend it! Authentic Italian food, the owner Cosimo is first generation from Italy. His team is incredible and the service is always top notch. We had Lindsey as our waitress and she was outstanding!
They also have gluten free options!!
With good reviews and friendly when other hosts were rude upon asking for a menu, we are so glad we landed here for a rare date night out while on vacation in Naples. Service was excellent, family feeling, with 17 yo daughter singing beautifully for music and dad supporting her and authentic Italian owner was friendly to guests. Food needed a little extra parmesan and salt for my taste but husband said pizza was very good, authentic Italian style with fresh homemade toppings, especially grilled artichokes. Even gluten free options for me, as I have celiac disease and appreciate when restaurants accommodate without issue. Came home and recommended it to my family. Will go again, which is rare that I say that with overpriced mediocre Naples restaurants. Coming from San Francisco we usually stay in because most places aren't worth it in Naples where the vibe is generally tacky nouveau riche. At Barbatella you'll get a homey authentic feel that you don't feel bad paying for. Go try it.
Really delicious food with a wonderful staff. For a busy Saturday night call me your food is served quickly and your staff is extremely friendly. They're completely capable of managing the amount of people that come through this place. You never feel rushed.
They do have gluten-free options as well as vegetarian options.
Enjoyed their lasagna. It was delicious. Only complaint was my wife, who is gluten sensitive, wanted the salmon with gluten free pasta. Instead she was served the salmon on a bed of spinach, which she did not want. The explanation was that Pete would only serve each item with his choice of sides and not what the customer wanted. Rather a poor attitude
My husband and I attended a friend's birthday party at Cosmo's on December 13, 2024. I have celiac disease, and must avoid gluten as a medical necessity. As a precaution, I contacted the manager before the event, and he assured me they had gluten free options available.
At the party, I discussed my condition with our server, as well as the manager. Again, I was assured they understood my medical condition and would keep me safe. I even questioned the server as the food was delivered.
I spite of my precautions, and Cosmos assurances, I was glutened. I was up all night with severe celiac reactions (you don't want to know). Moreover, the symptoms continued for several days.
I subsequently contacted the manager (Juan), he said he was very sorry that happened, and as a courtesy he said he would process a refund on my credit card. It never happened. I followed-up with him again a week later, with the same result.
The real problem is hollow assurances about a serious food allergy, which have medical consequences. The empty gesture about a refund was nothing more than frosting on a really bad experience.
Believe the negative reviews. After going here for the first time I now understand where the negative reviews are coming from. Our waitress seemed put off and annoyed with our presence. Tasty bread was brought out to the table when we arrived. The bread arrived, warm and swiftly. However, the dipping oil was canola oil and not real extra-virgin olive oil. We inquired about getting extra-virgin olive oil oil and our waitress told us they do not have any in the restaurant. Of course, this seems quite strange for Italian restaurant as that is a staple in Italian cooking. Perhaps they have olive oil in the back and just don’t bring it out for customers to consume with bread. Not sure. We ordered a couple pizzas, pasta, lasagna, and one gluten-free pasta dish. The pizzas were terrible. I have eaten pizza in New York and Italy and many other places around the country and this has to be one of the worst pizzas we’ve ever tried. The cheese and toppings were tasty, but the dough was flavorless, and the consistency dry in a bad way similar to a gluten-free crust, however, it wasn’t gluten-free. The lasagna was excellent and I would recommend trying that if you end up having to go to this restaurant. The pasta, is supposedly shipped in from Italy, but it was no different than any boxed pasta you would buy at Publix. The gluten-free pasta was as expected and no different than most other restaurants serving gluten-free pasta.
Save your time and money and go to one of the many other Italian restaurants in Naples, as this place is certainly is not worth it.
Addendum: Thank you for the quick response to my review. Unfortunately, you were mistaken about the oil. The oil they brought out to our table was definitely not EVOO. If it was, it was the lowest quality EVOO I’ve ever tasted in my life as it was clear and bland and did not taste like EVOO, as I happen to be an EVOO extraordinaire. Additionally, your server told us it was definitely not EVOO. Perhaps the flour you used was stale or not stored properly. Additionally, perhaps your cooks did not know how to prepare or cook the pizza dough because the dough was certainly off, and I’ve had pizza at very high and Italian Neapolitan certified restaurants. I’ve also had pizza in many places in New York City and yours pales in comparison to those. You certainly are witty with your responses to your customers, particularly the negative reviews. However, you keep mentioning your 4.6 and 4.5 star ratings but you’ve already dropped to 4.3 on google and I would expect that to continue to plummet. Good luck with your business.
This place is so beautiful and truly the best real Italian we’ve had!! Every server was so kind and attentive. We ordered the Red Snapper special, lobster special, Cacio e Pepe, and bolognese. Everything was amazing!!!! Fresh real pasta made DAILY!! Also the HIGHEST QUALITY gluten free noodles you can imagine! The wine list is expansive and high quality. Finished our meal with cannolis and espresso martinis. We never felt rushed and the views of the sunset is UNREAL. Make a reservation and enjoy every part of this meal. We will be back!!! Thank you so much!!!
Our group of 7 went to TRULLI pizza and pasta last night.
Appetizer, 3 pizzas and 2 pastas ordered and not a crumb was left! Domenico and Barbara were our gracious and talented hosts.
The pizza is made from their imported pure semolina, and is gluten free. Tastes and chews like nothing we’ve ever had!
You are given a scissor to cut your pizza and Barbara showed us her special cutting technique.
We will be back!

Outstanding experience!! There are SO many Italian options in the Naples area and this is the best! The service is exceptional and staff truly want you to have the best experience possible. Felt like I was a guest in my best friend’s home. My daughter is gluten free and our waiter and mgmt/owner ensured she was well taken care of.
The food is outstanding and like authentic Italian. Portions are massive but not sacrificing quality.
I highly recommend Bellini’s and can’t wait for our return.
Fantastic experience at Dorona tonight. The gluten free pasta was top notch, appetizers were perfect especially the steak tartare and the service was amazing (Julia was very attentive, kind and knowledgable about the offerings) I highly recommend this steakhouse! You'll be happy you came!
We arrived 6pm on a June Friday night and were seated immediately. The restaurant was hopping both at the bar and tables. Our server was great, explained the menu, opened 3 bottles of wine for us, delivered bread and didn’t rush us to order.
This restaurant space has turned over a couple times in the 7 years we’ve lived in Naples but we all decided this time it would stand the test of time. The food was excellent! We all had different dinners from pasta to salmon to beef. The salads were large, cold, and delicious. Mainly an Italian restaurant with house made pastas, they also had vegetarian/diet friendly dishes, a Maine lobster special, and even accommodated my friend’s “Celiac/no dairy/no certain oils” request with no problem. The wine was always refreshed without asking. We all liked our meals that were tasty, plentiful, and piping hot.
Zero complaints, we will recommend and return. Such a convenient location off VBR, great pricing, upscale casual atmosphere.
Bruno’s!! Where do I even begin? We found Bruno’s on a whim while trying to eat out with teenagers during a lacrosse tournament. Some wanted seafood, some wanted pizza. This is located in the corner of a strip mall and you would never know that it was absolute hidden GEM. The owners are from NY/Italy. I’m an Italian NYer myself and very picky. Every single dish that our table ordered was over the top. Homemade and fresh. GREAT flavor, GREAT service. I just can’t say enough! From NY style pizza to amazing seafood pastas including gluten free and not to mention veal that melts in your mouth! Then to top it off totally reasonably priced. Well done Bruno! We will be back, best of luck to your new restaurant!
I got a Gluten-Free Margherita pizza & it was the best one I’ve ever had in my life. Staff was very friendly :) the name of this restaurant is also perfect!! definitely recommend, coming from an Italian American myself!
