cute Japanese gluten free cafe
Loved their vege tempura noodles! Really fresh ingredients and clear but flavorful broth
They also have mochi, donuts, sushi rolls, onigiris to choose from
We found this place on google whilst driving from Melbourne to Sydney. Typically it’s very hard to get any decent GF food when travelling away from the big cities, so we were surprised to find this place that is entirely gluten free with variety on the menu. I had my first GF chicken schnitzel in years! It’s a small on-the-run type cafe but with plenty of seating, inside and out, with a great choice of pub style meals, sandwiches and a bakery. Would definitely call in again if we were passing 😊
I can’t recommend this cafe highly enough. For a coeliac person it’s usually difficult to find good options but this cafe had it all! From the most delicious gluten free buttermilk pancakes to amazing breakfast options with gluten free bread! The staff were very friendly and helped make us feel at home, including giving some special attention to our 4 year old son.
I highly enjoyed a mindful moment at Hudson Bakery this morning. Lovely staff, great coffee, and so much choice for gluten-free treats!
If you’re coeliac or gluten-intolerant,do yourself a favour and check this place out. It has so much to offer!
Finally I can have knafeh and maamol being a coeliac and it didn’t let me down. Neither did the service. The owner was amazing letting us taste food free of charge. Thank you
Understaffed ,underserved , under flavoured
I came here on a Saturday afternoon and waited more than 50 minutes for my take away order only to discover many of the items we ordered weren’t included and fish was over cooked . Really loved this business as it’s gluten free and my wife is celiac. Sad that it’s gone down hill.
Last year when I came it tasted better and would have been a 4 star. This year the fish was overcooked and it just didn’t taste great, they even gave me only 1 sauce packet with the takeaway option which obviously wasn’t enough. I was happy they provide gluten free but I don’t think I’ll be back. There are better GF options out there.

Not safe for celiacs. Had a gf pizza - which was very good - but still got glutened. Developed a very bad dermatitis herpetiformis the night after. Not safe
This place is fabulous for those looking for gluten free goods, the options are endless and delicious! The sweet and sour pork was absolutely outstanding and the vermeceli noodles were to die for. I would 100% recommend checking it out as a dinner spot/date spot! A nice and relaxing restaurant that l will definitely be returning to in the future :)
The best gluten free pizzas I’ve had so far (and I’ve tried a lot). Delicious food and friendly service. Feels like a family run business, outdoor dining is nice and cool, indoor dining a bit warmer but you get to watch the pizza oven. Looking forward to going back.
Brilliant gluten free place with excellent staff.
STAFF: One call, minutes in and the man I spoke to was super accommodating, attentive and quick to respond. I ordered a gluten free cake, had a set budget, handed over money and prayed for a half decent cake.
THEY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.
Was the cake to die for, nope but that's not what I think they market to. It was a solidly good gluten free cake my non gf friends liked.
I come from a chef-ing family and I tend to only eat Sebastien's gluten free pastries, so the bar is crazy high. I couldn't have made this cake for that price in that time period and that's what matters.
OVERALL: I'd definitely recommend them and would get a cake from them in future. Knowing this isn't to die-for gf cake with mind blowing cake decorating (sorry my Mum wins that award) but it definitely is a really solid place to get a good celebratory gf cake.
Absolutely stunning cafe in Goulburn!!! 🌟
The service is so friendly and the young girl serving me had a large smile and was very kind.
The food caters for celiac.
I ordered quina bread with avocado and scrambled eggs. It was absolutely delicious and very fresh ingredients
The fresh juice was not processed but freshly squeezed and so refreshing.
Highly recommend visiting this lovely cafe and support a small business with a friendly attitude and welcoming environment. 😊
My girlfriend is a celiac and am so thankful they put effort and time in catering for my requirements. We had a wide variety of choices to choose from and the food came out amazing. Would definitely come again.
The burgers are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. The fact that they offer gluten-free options is a huge plus—so great to have a delicious and inclusive menu. The service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is always welcoming.
Was blown away by how great the food was here and also how accomodating they were with food allergies. If you're celiac, don't miss this place. The burgers they make with their home made gluten free bread are fantastic, and they also have really excellent hand-cut skin on chips (GF fryer). 10/10
Gluten free fish was decent, but fish and chips served undersalted and with a tiny wedge of lemon.
Far bigger complaint in the 45 minute wait when others that ordered well after us walked out with their food. We followed up twice on our order before it finally came out.
This restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience, serving traditional Chinese cuisine that adheres to the Buddhist vegan tradition. This style of cooking, increasingly difficult to find even in modern China, showcases what we see as the true spirit of Chinese cuisine. The restaurant, run by the descendents of Mother Chu, who lived to the ripe age of 97, preserve these culinary traditions.
The protein options are varied and well-executed, ranging from wheat protein (gluten) to soy in its various forms. The food itself is flavorful and beautifully presented, demonstrating a clear commitment to quality. The service was enthusiastic and warm, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. The decor is appropriately Chinese, featuring handwritten texts that enhance the overall ambiance.
However, one area that could use improvement is the restrooms. They could benefit from some sprucing up to align with the high standards set by the food and service.
Overall, we were very impressed with this restaurant. The authentic cuisine, the warm service, and the unique experience make it a worthwhile visit for those seeking traditional Chinese vegan food. We hope the restaurant will address the restroom issue to further enhance the dining experience.
As ordinary consumers, we are not paid or compensated in any way for this review. We are always looking for reliable and transparent businesses and hope the owner will take this feedback into consideration.
Absolutely terrible experience...1/1/25. 6 15 pm.
Been told crepes are gluten free, maybe there are, but staff is using the same spaluta for flour crepes as well.
Cross contamination.
Asked with no ice cream, they put ice cream.
Take, away crepe is impossible to eat (strawberry and pistachio), as the fillings were are the bottom, and the crepe fall apart due to ice cream melting.
Returned to staff. No refund.
Please avoid.
