We’ve dined at The Mule many times and it has been our go-to restaurant for eating out, especially since both my daughter and I are celiac and have always appreciated your gluten-free options and care. Unfortunately, our most recent visit to the Cambridge location was disappointing. The service fell very short of what we’ve come to expect. Our server got our drink orders wrong twice, and there was a noticeably long wait for our meals, despite the fact that the restaurant was not busy at all. We’ve always valued The Mule for its reliability and attentiveness, especially given our dietary needs, which makes this experience all the more disappointing We may not be returning.

Superb gluten-free options on the menu. The best gluten free pizza and cookies. An excellent small grocery area, as well. Staff are amazing. I work a very physically demanding job and always feel great and energized for my day after eating here.

Came to this restaurant for a team lunch before our game. I ordered a gluten free sandwich, had 2 bites of it, and thought to myself “this is too good to be gluten free bread”. Sure enough, after consulting with the server, they had incorrectly placed my order. Make no mistake, they were quick to get me set up with a new, gluten free sandwich. I was very impressed with the way their entire staff handled the situation and wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this restaurant in the future.

The food was delicious & the service was fantastic! Every member of the staff was knowledgeable, helpful & very focused on customer service. I really appreciated the special efforts put in to make my meal safe because I am celiac. It was very busy & noise made it harder to hear conversation at our table - but that is hard to avoid at a popular restaurant.

!!!Try the Onion Bhaji’s!!! Tasty Food and Kind People. Definitely my go too Canadian Indian Restaurant. I have been ordering food from here for 10+ years and I’ve never had any inconveniences or issues. The atmosphere when you walk in is warm and inviting. Not to mention it smells amazing the moment you walk in. The man at the counter/on the phone is always very nice and patient, he even takes the time to explain the menu items if need be. The restaurant/itself is clean and well kept. The food is consistently delicious, the sauces are always so creamy and everything is so deep/rich in flavour. They also have many options for dietary restricted, my spouse has celiac disease and has many options. You can tell they do not rush their food or cut corners in the kitchen. I give a solid 10/10 simply because they have been in business for 13 years and they have been consistent with their food, portion sizes and customer service since day one.

Michelle was wonderful!! She suggested a fabulous mango margaritas and great wine matching with our meals. She knew everything about all the menus options, including great adaptations for my gluten-free. She treated us to some bubbly to celebrate my retirement. Thanks, Michelle - you made our night! Mill manager - thanks for making it right. It was my last day of work/retirement celebration. I had my husband cancel a reservation at another restaurant in the Region for a special request window seat at the Mill to see the lovely river. Just as our meals arrived, a man sat at another table, insisting the heavy brown curtains be closed so the sun did not bother him. I shared my upset - instead of moving him or shifting his chair, the curtains were closed, gone was the view. We were eventually moved to the solarium with a lovely view. Thank you. That's why we came. Your famous for it.

I've been going to this restaurant almost every weekend for a couple years now and I have no idea why I haven't written a reveiw for it yet. 10/10 for everything, every time I go there. Food is always spectacular and the staff are phenomenal. The menu is uniquely diverse and as someone with a gluten intolerance, they cater quite well to individuals with dietary needs. Their food presentation is always 5 star, and constantly far above every other breakfast place in Cambridge. I would recommend coming in before 9am, because afterward the place is incredibly busy and for good reason. 100% worth going.

Not impressed at all! Went for my 50th birthday with my Mom, mother in law, husband and son. Had to give drink orders twice and the iced tea and wine came after asking again and 25 minutes after we got there, my drink was about 35 minutes of waiting. There was a very loud baby shower going on and we couldn't even hear each other talk but got no apologies from staff. Food was awful. Both burgers were on buns so wet was like someone poured water on them, they didn't give my mil chicken on her Alfredo and the gluten free Alfredo was inedible. I had to get up to get service and personally ask for a doggy bag for my mom (nobody ate their plate of food ) and to top it all off when we finally got the bill they brought it directly to me...on my Birthday! Not impressed at all.

I've always loved the food here but I've recently been diagnosed with an auto inflammatory disease and gluten is one of my biggest triggers. I ordered a bunch of items and one of the dishes I wasn't aware wasn't gluten free, they actually called me to give me the heads up which meant the world to me. I'm also 22 weeks pregnant so this made me extremely thankful and emotional. Thank you for being so considerate and making the best Thai food!

Went for the first time, the place was stunning. Our waitor Mychel provided incredible service. Food was amazing with lots of gluten free and vegan options. Will be back!

Went here for the Mother’s Day brunch. Atmosphere was very nice and they had a DJ playing music. I payed the extra $20 to get the steak and eggs since there wasn’t many gluten free options. I asked for the steak to be prepared medium rare. Unfortunately it was very undercooked. Pretty disappointing. Service was pretty slow but it was busy as it was Mother’s Day. The rest of my group had the small plates (2 plates at a time limit) they seemed to enjoy it. It was $300 for the 5 of us plus tip.

Had a first visit today at Java Jax. The food was amazing. Lots of options, including gluten free options. The service was excellent, friendly and courteous. The food is made in house, so we had to wait a few minutes, but it was totally worth it for the taste and the freshness. The soups are made in house and were incredible!! I also enjoyed a chai tea latte, which was perfect. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning! Thank you!

We waited forever for our food. It was a busy night, but if you cannot serve a full house, do not fill all your tables. There were definitely some mishaps once we were served. One person at our table ordered a beer, and there were 2 bugs in it. One person at our table ordered gluten-free pasta, and she got her food after most of the people at our table had already finished eating. It was overcooked to the point that it was flavorless starchy mush. When we said something, they told us that it was like that because it was rice pasta. I've cooked way with rice pasta many times and it has never come out that terribly. In fairness, the manager did offer to cook me something else, but at that point, we had been there way too long, and it just wasn't pleasant. They also did remove some items from our bill, which was nice. We will,however, not be returning.

this is my new favourite place cause not only it was the food delicious but healthy and so many gluten-free options, which I love, but the staff are the most friendly amazing people ! I hate doing online things so I never leave reviews but for this restaurant, I made the exception because it’s just that good 😃 If there was an option to give more than five stars, I definitely would!

I ordered the all meat breakfast skillet, and it had zero meat. Had to wait for the waitress to show her. She was apologizing for the kitchen mistake. Gluten-free toast ice cold and no butter on it. She got me another breakfast melt. My husband breakfast was great.
