I went last night with my husband
We were passing through and it was a pleasant surprise:
My gluten-free pizza is certainly among the best I've ever eaten in my now over twenty-year life as a celiac, rich, tasty, crunchy
My husband also appreciated the quality of his "normal" pizza
Also reading the item GLUTEN-FREE FIRST PRICES in the menu, I discovered that these are only available if booked 24 hours in advance.
The ravioli filled with fish, however, had caught my attention and, knowing that I couldn't count on a second chance in a short time, I dared to ask if it was possible to buy two portions to eat in the camper today.
So tonight we had a second unforgettable experience! Yummy!
Last, but certainly not least, a particular consideration about the owner of the restaurant and his wife: friendly, competent and very helpful, they also gave us valuable tourist information.
I warmly recommend it,
Catherine B.
Positive experience, excellent lunch, very prepared on intolerances.. celiac disease, lactose etc. Very friendly staff.
Excellent restaurant.
Forciniti.....
beautiful place and very courteous staff helpful and kind excellent and fast service exceptional gluten-free pizza made by them not frozen the best I have ever eaten first choice ingredients everything of truly top quality even the normal pizza truly excellent. we will definitely return. highly recommended place
Delicious and delicious gluten-free products, always friendly and smiling staff, clean environment with a breathtaking sea view! Fixed stop every time I return to Crotone.
The restaurant embodies an extremely current project: offering high quality food designed for those with intolerances to gluten and other foods, without sacrificing taste and variety.
All the products and services offered are taken care of down to the smallest detail, with a high standard that satisfies not only those with particular needs, but also those simply looking for a healthy, genuine and refined diet.
Truly inedible gluten-free pizza. The waiter told me if I wanted it remade but it wouldn't have made sense as the dough was the same. The appetizers were acceptable but the prices were very high compared to the quality. I found a bottle of water €2.50 really expensive. Considering that two of us spent €47, it's a good idea that the pizza wouldn't have been added to the bill since it was all left over after tasting the first slice. REALLY DISAPPOINTED
I was a little skeptical but it turned out to be an excellent pizzeria, soft and well-leavened dough, good choice of beers; with us there was a CELIAC and he ate one of the best gluten-free pizzas, compliments. Highly recommended.
I have been there several times with my husband. The food is excellent. The gluten-free pizza is delicious, the best I have ever tasted... the place is a bit dark but the food is excellent and the guys are very kind and smiling ☺️ I highly recommend it!!
Very good pizza with excellent and abundant ingredients. Exceptional gluten-free and lactose-free service with a dedicated oven and environment ... the strong point is the legendary know-it-all "VALENTINO" very friendly but above all professional in his work every time a pleasant experience
Excellent pizza, they are also prepared for gluten-free pizza and the same for the fry shop, the owner and staff are available and attentive to every request,
Beautiful restaurant, exceptional staff, super owner, we ate gluten-free pizza, I can guarantee to try it, I have never eaten such a delicious pizza, light dough and super appreciated, everything 😋
I have been coming to Amantea for years and I always made a quick stop, until the last time where I unfortunately noticed personally that the quality is no longer the same. The last time I ordered a plate of gluten-free spaghetti with clams and the pasta was cooked almost inedible because it was so raw and the clams contained sand traps. My mistake for not reporting it, otherwise I think they would have changed it for me.
Gluten-free pizzas inedible but even the normal one was no exception. I pointed this out at the time of payment and the owner apologized and decided that I should not pay. I obviously appreciated the gesture but I do not intend to repeat the experience. Chaotic environment.
It is inconceivable that a place like this puts gluten-free pizzas on the menu and when ordering I am told that you have to book the day before.....
So if you have allergens and want to eat gluten-free pizza, either book in advance or change venue!!!
Dear customers like me..
What a disappointment....
To the owner, do not deceive customers by putting gluten-free pizza on the menu and then say that it is not available... Avoid being a decoy....
Try to be more professional, the venue will suffer.....
really good gluten-free pizza, but pay attention to the price!! that by adding gluten-free pizza and two gluten-free beers to the takeaway, I ended up paying 33 euros for takeaway, which I must say was a bit excessive.
Last week I was on vacation in Reggio again. I returned to this place to find out that the management has changed and they no longer offer gluten-free arancini.
A big disappointment and a negative note!!!
Obviously, being celiac, I couldn't eat anything.
We ate at your place today, excellent food, perfect for me as I have celiac disease, I ate everything like the others without any differences, even the tagliatelle were a dream. Very kind waiters, splendid place near a stream, a true oasis of peace in nature! We will definitely visit you again
A good restaurant/pizzeria, in the center of Tropea, the prices are also reasonable (pizza and drink less than €15)
Gluten-free pizza is missing, even if present on the menu.
However, for celiacs they have pasta with any seasoning on the menu and grilled meat.
Advised!
A little outside the center of Pizzo, we had dinner in this restaurant because on Google it is a suitable place for celiacs. But, alas, with a supplement of 5 euros per dish for gluten-free. Poor celiacs that we end up with!!!! It is not fair to take such high commissions
I went about a year ago, good pizza, even the gluten-free one. They gave me some problems when I pointed out that the taste of the pizza was different from the one I ordered and since it was the gluten-free one it was difficult to change, I asked to redo another one and they told me that it would take more than half an hour (they wanted to tell me to settle for this one). I thank all the pizzerias that make an effort to have gluten-free pizza, but I think a little more courtesy and availability would be needed.
I don't look for gluten-free by choice but because I'm forced.
Pizzeria located on the Roccella Jonica seafront, possibility to choose between various pizza doughs, cereal, charcoal, classic, gluten-free. We tried the one with cereal and charcoal dough, both good. Cost 3 pizzas 2 beers a water 2 fried €58 total.
Modern and well-kept place, friendly and helpful staff. Neapolitan Pizza and many other traditional Campania products including excellent appetizers. Menu with an incredible pizzeria offer with the plus of having a wide offer for celiacs.
Pleasant experience dining with friends facing the sea. Recommended restaurant for celiacs who can choose a good part of the gluten-free menu with all the necessary attention thanks to the expert staff through the Aic guides.
Delicious gluten-free pizza, dough prepared by the pizza chef, super light and delicious. You can choose from many flavours, one better than the other. Plus they also have the option of gluten-free sandwiches, and beer! Really very satisfied, I highly recommend. I will definitely come back
Excellent restaurant with typical Calabrian food.
On the advice of the locals, we went to this restaurant and it was one of the best lunches we had in Calabria.
Excellent quality/price ratio, wide choice of courses, very kind waiter, generous portions and they also brought us gluten-free bread which unfortunately is not a given for all restaurants.
It's always nice to find places with excellent products even for those who have to eat gluten-free (celiacs of the world unite). The fish is fresh and the sandwiches are really well thought out.
I've been here a couple of times during the holidays because they do both gluten-free cuisine and pizza and as a celiac it's the best! the first time I was very pleased with the dishes, not too abundant, I would say just right, everything was very good and typical of the area, friendly staff, the second time I ordered the pizza and if it hadn't been for the waiting times it would have been top notch, really delicious!! Especially because it's hard to find a gluten-free pizza so similar to the one with gluten and with a high, soft edge! The restaurant offers the possibility of eating with "your feet in the sand" there are tables almost on the seashore, spectacular! Overall I recommend this place!
The Royal Reef, located in Reggio Calabria at the Circolo Velico, is a culinary experience that combines elegance, authentic flavors and a spectacular view of the Strait of Messina. The location is enchanting: dining with the sea just a few steps away and the scenery of the sunset reflecting on the water makes every moment unique and unforgettable.
The menu offers a curated selection of traditional Mediterranean dishes, with a strong emphasis on fresh fish and local ingredients. Don't miss the raw seafood, which stands out for its quality and freshness, and dishes such as tagliolini with sea urchins and 'nduja or bergamot risotto. I personally consumed a risotto with cuttlefish caciocavallo and a sprinkling of chocolate. It was MAGNIFICENT. I have never tried such a good risotto... each course is an explosion of flavours, presented with great attention to detail.
The service is impeccable: the staff is courteous, professional and always available to recommend the best wine and dish pairings. Another plus point is the attention to those with special dietary needs, such as gluten-free options, a sign of great care for the customer.
Prices vary, but the quality-price ratio is more than justified by the quality of the raw materials and the overall experience. It is the ideal place for a romantic dinner, a special evening or simply to indulge in a moment of gastronomic pleasure in a refined setting.
In conclusion, the Royal Reef is a true pearl of Reggio Calabria, where cuisine meets the beauty of the sea. An experience that certainly deserves to be lived. Highly recommended!
Come on guys, you are very strong🤝. Excellent venue, large size, many seats. Among the few (perhaps the only one on the Costa degli Dei) to be A.I.C. certified. The gluten-free beer is excellent, as are the vegan sandwich and the fries. The hamburger dough is very soft. Have more faith in yourself, in your potential which is high.
A piece of advice, replace the sign at the entrance with another one that says: "Despite the lack of staff, we do our best to serve and please our customers."
That's because that's what you actually do.
I'll come visit you again, keep it up👌👍
I have celiac disease, I called this restaurant to find out if they were equipped for people with food intolerances, I was answered by a well-prepared girl, very kind and very attentive to the problems that people like me find themselves dealing with on a daily basis. He explained everything to me precisely and when my boyfriend and I arrived for lunch, we found impeccable service, excellent cuisine and a very nice and welcoming location. I thank all the staff for their care and dedication and I invite everyone to go and taste the products of this wonderful land! Really congratulations 👏👏👏
Valentine's evening. Appetizer and pizza. I have celiac disease and I found everything, even the gluten free pizza and focaccia base. Impeccable service and welcoming environment
We eat an exceptional pizza unfortunately three things went wrong the gluten free pizza was inedible a table for four was for two since there were four of us including one celiac person, but the most scandalous thing still had to finish having the coffee that the owner he brings us the bill and tells us to get up because he had other people waiting, something so disgusting has never happened. PS we traveled 160 km to come and eat pizza and then to be treated in this way is shameful for me.
I didn't stay but I went for dinner. Since I'm celiac, they showed special attention, which is very nice. Staff present without being too intrusive, gluten-free pizza excellent!
