What a fabulous find in Whitby. Our last day of a lovely holiday and we were looking for something different from the usual fish and chips. I would highly recommend booking a table as the restaurant was heaving. One of our party is gluten free and the choices were amazing, not usually found in an Italian restaurant. Our starters were excellent, recommend the mushrooms, very tasty and full of flavour. On to our mains and the portions were very generous. Pizza and pasta were top notch, I had the lamb which was delicious. The service was amazing, Shelly was particularly good, very attentive and full of Yorkshire charm. If you live in the town or only visiting, you must try this place.

This is a fantastic place. The setting, food and service couldn't be better and they're dog friendly! We always make a point of visiting whenever we're in Whitby and are never disappointed. Our last visit was to have breakfast and it was amazing. Their gluten free choices are excellent, it is so refreshing to eat somewhere where my diet isn't an issue. Highly recommend!

Best Fish & Chips we’ve ever had! The fish just melted in your mouth, it was delicious! Portion sizes were huge, we could have easily shared our chips instead of buying our own individually. They also had an extensive list of items that could be done gluten free, including a seperate fryer. The staff were very knowledgeable with allergies and my gluten free meal came out labeled as gluten free on the takeaway box. Would recommend to all people with allergies!

Fabulous once again. HOMEMADE gluten free including pizza base pizza and Gluten Free beer. Perfect! Really is fabulous pizza and price wise a bargain. Setting gorgeous. Service magnificent. Has it changed since this last review? Rustys has changed hands but still the same dedication to ensure ceoliacs are safe and that the food is fabulous. Same chef and a new one too. Highly recommend and I'll be calling in more often now the sun is back

Went yesterday, around 3pm. Waited 10 mins for a table. Ordered 3 fish and chips (one Gluten Free) with teas. The fish was delicious, really soft and moist with crisp batter. We all really enjoyed the food and drink. Staff were friendly

Great place to enjoy Whitby Fish and Chips! Very accommodating with last minute booking time change. Staff lovely. Need to highlight more that food which food is Gluten Free as it wasn't made clear and we had to ask. Would recommend.

If you are a coeliac or just looking for a gluten-free treat in Whitby, look no further than this delightful little cake shop. Wonderful staff and absolutely delicious Cakes, the gluten-free apple Betty is beyond delicious.
