Our family was very impressed with Meat & Cheese! The vibe is perfectly mountain casual, and the food was both creative and delicious. We tried the rotisserie chicken board with roasted sweet potatoes, and it easily fed our family of six. The charcuterie selections were unique and well-curated, and even the gluten-free chicken nuggets were a standout—crispy, flavorful, and a big hit. We ended the meal on a sweet note with warm chocolate chip cookies and sweet milk. Service was friendly and attentive. We’re already looking forward to coming back next time we’re in Aspen
French fries are amazing. I had a gluten free bun so that’s the only reason it didn’t taste as great but still good. Great outdoor seating and friendly wait staff. Eggs benedict is awesome!
We went out of our way to have some Gluten Free Benedict which the menu says is made with a potato latke for the base. However when I ordered was told that those actually have flour in them. Instead they brought it with a thick slice of very under-ripe, woody tomato that along with the salmon gravlax and bernaise sauce were served straight out of the refrigerator. The eggs were poached nicely, though. The side was a pile of shredded greens with no dressing, and I asked for GF toast which came (one slice) with no butter or jam. When I asked for those, there was no jam available, but a very watery fruit compote was brought instead. My husband had croque madame which instead of being covered in the traditional bechamel sauce, had a light spread of it on the bread (like it was butter). The dish was almost inedibley dry. Despite some precautions being supposedly taken, I had a gluten reaction within 20 minutes of leaving. Our server was very kind and apologetic, but despite the magazine articles on the wall saying that this well-respected Michelin chef/owner is the 'queen of gluten free', I would not recommend that anyone with gluten intolerance or celiac try to dine here.
on a Monday we were sat right away, servers were attentive and friendly. the food was amazing and they had great gluten free bread. highly recommend anything with the wagyu steak
Food is pricy but delicious! This is a very casual place with walk-up service. I had the chicken quesadillas and they were amazing! Every dish tastes fresh and has great seasoning, especially the hand-cut fries. I also appreciated that there were quite a few vegan and gluten-free options available. The food came out fast as well.
Love this place so much! I am gluten + dairy free and CP Burgers was the meal of my dreams! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful with ingredients. Our food was ready quickly and it was SO GOOD. While other restaurants nearby were out of gluten-free crusts, closed, or only offered vegan OR gluten-free.... CP Burgers was there for us. So much so that we have been there two days in a row. Affordable, delicious, respectful of food restrictions ❤️
GREAT date dinner spot for a Sunday night. Cozy. Amazing cocktails! Loved the hot toddy and espresso martini. I have Celiacs and they were super understanding. Had a great salmon dinner and boyfriend had an amazing steak. Thanks!
Their pizza is fantastic, and the slices are massive!
If you are allergic (or sensitive) to gluten, they have a rice crust available. It is delicious! It does take a few minutes for them to prep the crust, but it is absolutely worth it!
Solid fare. Unpretentious, nothing special. Good gluten free pasta options. Wines by glass pricey for average quality. Nightclub music was a bit offputting. Parpadelle bolognese was good. Linguini crostacei was quite good. Cocktails were OK.
Ah, Kenichi. A highlight of ant Aspen trip. Safe for anyone with allergies including celiac as they run a very conscientious kitchen. From Jay and Aubrey at the bar, to Chris, Chris, Zack, and everyone else in the dining room to the sweet manager, I can never remember the name of...the service here is impeccable.
Far better than the flawless staff is literally everything that walks out of the kitchen. If you came to Aspen expecting the best then you'll find it here.
As a person who travels a lot, it is hard to find gluten-free without any cross contamination in most restaurants. I even have trouble at restaurants that have gluten-free options.
Here at Plato's Restaurants, the dining experience is different. You ask how? They have real chef's prepare your food unique to each guest, not a mass production. So whatever your needs, whether it be allergy or taste, they can do it here.
The other benefits of dining here are the beautiful views, no matter if you're inside with big windows or on the patio enjoying the weather.
The sunset is pure bliss while dining and romantic.
I had salmon and salad with a drink that was just perfect for me. The salmon was grilled to perfection, and the salad dressing paired well with the white win.
I went during off-season, which was less busy, but I see why this restaurant is so popular and hard to get reservations in season.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and go check it out for yourself.
Tell them I sent you!
We enjoyed our dinner at Little Ollies! The service was fast and attentive. They even made a dish gluten free by request. I wish we would have been able to try more on the menu, but the Shrimp Pad Thai and Dan Dan were very tasty.
The food was delicious, but the real star of our visit was our server, Viges. We have a son with celiac and other allergies and he was so understanding, talked to multiple people on staff to make sure we had a great experience. Would definitely return when we come back to the area and ask for him every time.
This place is incredible! Absolutely beautiful and in a gorgeous location at the base of the mountain. The food is delicious with both gluten-free and vegan options already on the menu. I’ve eaten dinner here twice already in my 4 days in Aspen. The chef, Alexis, is really talented. He understands how to balance intense and beautiful and diverse flavors across hearty bison chili, Korean fried cauliflower, and Baja miso cod tacos. The prices seem almost unfair in how affordable this restaurant is for the quality you’re getting. Also come take photos here for sure. It’s super cute and lends itself well to photo ops. Alsooooo the service is so top notch. Incredibly attentive servers who seem to go above and beyond. Don’t miss this experience while you’re visiting Aspen.
Amazing. The service here for my cousin's wedding was phenomenal, the food was great, catered perfectly for any food sensitivities. I really can't express how great the wait staff was. They were ALWAYS on top of their service, to impress and please the guests, so willing to answer any questions about the dish, or confirm that something was gluten free etc. The setting was beautiful, little touches of umbrellas, and blankets for comfort were perfect.
The Crepe Shack in Aspen is insanely good! They even offer organic, gluten free, vegan buckwheat wraps for those sensitive to gluten, dairy, or eggs. We had several of the dessert crepes, and the lattes here are extraordinary! Don't miss this gem when visiting Aspen, it's amazing.
