Everything here is gluten free - and delicious! We went for the Dubai chocolate, a dark chocolate covered marshmallow, two vegan ice cream sandwiches, and an amazing pyramid shaped truffle that tasted of nutmeg and cardamom. I highly recommend this place.
Saw this on a list of best coffee in CT so I stopped in on my way to Boston. I loved the vanilla latte, but the sandwich truly blew me away. I ordered a chipotle breakfast sandwich and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. I loved the bread-it almost melted off the sandwich in the best way. The sandwich was well constructed and flavor profile was simply perfect, the cheese keeping the bacon well in tact. I also ordered a raspberry oatmeal bar and blueberry coffee cake at the suggestion of staff, which were great as well. They had a large selection of gluten free baked goods. The cafe is so cute and has tables inside and outside as well as a few couches inside. I’ll definitely be back!
My first time eating here. Overall a great experience. Burger was awesome! They have a separate gluten free menu, so you don't have to wonder what you can have. The kitchen is not GF, so even though they say they take precautions, there's likely cross contamination. The GF bun for my burger was actually really good. They have a pretty good selection of drinks, I had an espresso martini, it was a little pricy, but it was a nice date night out with the hubby.
I heard that they are celiac-friendly and wanted a quick bite on the go. This was the first time I'd gone since my diagnosis, so I went in because I was nervous about making sure it was safe for me to have it. The person who took my order had limited knowledge, but luckily it was not very busy, and the manager took the opportunity to explain to both of us the process. Not only they have a few gf items marked on the menu, but if you tell them you have an allergy, they make sure to alert the staff, so they clean the area, utensils and change gloves before preparing the meal. They have a separate fryer for the fries, too! The grilled chicken sandwich was appetizing and gluten-free.

My first time in. I'm Gluten Free and I tried the chicken parm - the GF pasta was good as was the sauce but the grilled chicken seasoning wasn't my kinda flav. It was good overall though.
I can't have gluten dairy tree nuts it's hard to find good places to eat with so many food allergy it's great when when you can find a gluten free place and feel part of the family .
Our waitress Brianna was superb. She was super friendly, accommodating to my gluten allergy. Great experience. Food was on par. Will definitely be back!
Such a great downtown staple! We have tried quite a few things on the menu and haven’t encountered one that isn’t good. I am so impressed that they offer gluten free raviolis, I haven't found these anywhere else. The birthday number pizzas (and the heart shape, which I like to get just for fun sometimes😂) are a big hit with our kids. Definitely recommend.
Had a great date night with my wife. She got the gluten free pizza and ate the entire thing in 5 minutes. I had to remind her multiple times to slow down while eating. The wings and salad tasted good! Our waitress did a great job. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Good service. Good food. Decent prices compared to other establishments in the area. We had pork burritos, enchiladas tacos and a bowl. Plenty of food and tasty. Fast service. Clean place. I would recommend getting food from this restaurant. Plenty of parking. Also the enchiladas were gluten free. You choose all your toppings similar to chipotle but tastier.
I have Celiac Disease, and the French fries here are safe! They are great about safety for a burger in a bowl, so I love that I can eat here with no worries!!
Great lunch alone waitress asked if i wanted breakfast or lunch menus, then offered both. Got Steaming cup of tea and a second cup. Had the tomato cheddar bisque and the ham and cheese. Waitress added tomato and gluten free bread I requested. Wonderful lunch not to slow or fast and filling.
Wow!! When I heard the news MSP would be offering Gluten-Free crust in 2024, I couldn’t wait to try it. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Chewy, flaky, and deliciousness was served! I’ve been GF for 20 years, this is one of the best gluten-free options out there. Thank you thank you! Excited to try all the pizzas now!
so accommodating and kind! i ordered the bacon egg and cheese panini but subbed bacon with ham and added avocado. The waitress is so kind and this place is so underrated! I would totally come back, they have such a good menu and offer dairy free pancakes and have a gluten free brownie in their bakery aswell.
Got catering from Frontera Grill for a party at our house. Nacho-taco bar. The manager personally handled and delivered the catering order. They were great about making items gluten free and vegan for us. Delivery was on time and they brought it right inside. It was a lot of food! We sent everyone home with food and still had lots of leftovers. The carnitas, spanish rice, charro beans, and roasted vegetables were all delicious. Thanks Leo and to the chefs!
My gf has some food allergies, including dairy and gluten. We placed a pickup order and ended up getting there early. I waited inside and watched them make hers. Normally if we were in line, they would wipe down the equipment and counter. Standing from the side, I watched them blatantly make the sandwich, ignoring all instances of cross contamination. The brat at the counter had the nerve to lie to me and tell me they wiped it down, literally smirking as he said it. To make matters worse, it's been months and I'm yet to hear back from the manager on a return. Did some research and found that intentionally ignoring allergies is a form of assault. If I had known I wouldve had her consider filing charges.
I grew up in CT and believe there's something to be said about Connecticut grinders (besides the fact that most states don't use the term "grinder". For my birthday this September, I really wanted a cooked salami grinder from CT. My parents, who live about 2 hours away from me in CT, said "if you want a grinder, we gotta go to CJs".
I called CJ's and Nick answered the phone. I explained I live about 2 hours away and asked if there was any way they could prepare a grinder so it'd still be fresh. He replied, "no problem, we do this all the time". They gave me a perfectly packaged deconstructed grinder and explained how to assemble it and heat it up. I also had asked if they had any gluten free options for my wife. He said they did not, but allowed my parents to bring in a gluten free roll. He didn't think it would travel well on the roll, so he cut the roll and provided all the fillings to create it (just like the other one).
The grinders were fantastic! They were beyond expectations. My wife loved hers as well. Thank you Nick and the team at CJ's!
The attached pictures is after we heated it up.
Food is very good and wait staff very polite and attentive. A medium pho is large enough for "leftovers", ie. tomorrow's lunch, so price is reasonable. Many gluten free items on the menu! One of my favorite go-to places.
We have been to The Hollow numerous times and each visit exceeded expectations! Regardless of dining at The Hollow or take out the food is exceptional. Pair the food with amazing service from team members like Adam and Cecilia, you can't go wrong. Also gluten free options are abundant, even dessert! Don't hesitate and enjoy this local treasure!
Lots of fun activities. Little gluten free food options (at least as labeled on the menu online). They say they have GF options now, but hard for people to know if it isn't on the menu.

My husband and I were so pleased with our fresh and perfectly made sandwiches. I am gluten and dairy sensitive and they were so careful and made sure to ask me questions during every step of the process. I love their gluten free roll - soft, but not crumbly. I had the tuna and my husband had the pulled BBQ pork. I loved the tuna with the fresh veggies. My husband said the pork was so good. The staff was super friendly and their attention to detail made the experience easy and enjoyable. The atmosphere was clean and organized. I have a feeling I'll be craving Hot Table again soon, and look forward to going back!
I eat gluten free. They had so many options and they weren't just token options. The food delicious the service spectacular. The prices for gluten free were the same as regular fare. I will be back often.
