We used the app to get on the waitlist and almost walked in and they called our name.
I requested Gluten Free menu on notes and they brought it without asking. (They are Gluten friendly - not Gluten Free). I had the Lunch Special - pick two. I chose BLT-A and Jambalaya. Both were delicious. But, I have to shout out an A+ on the GF Brand of Bread. It is the best that I have had in 13 years. #Rotella’s GF Italian Bakery - Ancient Grain.
We got multiple dishes and the only thing I'd eat again is the salmon, it was crispy and the glaze is great. Unfortunately the sides were bewildering. I have never bitten into the stem of a broccoli and had the insides squish out of the cut end into my mouth, and the husk stay coarsely intact. That was a new one for me. The half lemon I received was so dry I got about 1/4 tsp of juice out before it broke apart in my hand.
The blackened chicken pasta was fine, better with mushrooms.
I sampled my friends' gluten-free cheese pizza, and that was good.
The bread pudding is over seasoned, tastes more like spice cake, and barely any raisins. I can imagine some folks loving that, though.
When we were ready to go we had to hunt down our bill, it seemed like all the staff i recognized had left. We were there with a large party, had lingered, and it appeared our check had been forgotten about. Otherwise, the service was good and I appreciated our server.
It was very loud, couldn't hear each other at all until the live music was over. We did like the collection of music videos on the tvs after that.
I probably won't go again but many in the group like it.
food is so delicious i got an acai bowl, and my mom got a quesadilla and smoothie. recently gluten has been upsetting my stomach and the workers have reassured and helped me with the menu, with pretty much anything able to be gf. it is also so gorgeous in her and good chill music!
Carlee was an absolute gem ! She was exceptionally kind , professional, personable and highly knowledgeable-
She recommended the cauliflower pizza as I’m gluten free and it was stupendous!!!! Carlee made the dine-in experience such a pleasure , can’t wait to return !!!!
Appreciate the food that was served but there was definitely some problems that happened. First, having the gluten free menu not having all the food be gluten free. Which is disappointing since we were explained that it was fine but after getting the appetizer it turns out we can’t eat it. Trying to even get chips are hard since we never got them. There was no silver ware ready for over 20mins.
We came here for brunch and the food was so good! Gavin was our server and he was very attentive and fun to talk to. I have Celiac so he brought me a gluten-free menu and reassured me he would let the kitchen know about my allergy! We will definitely be coming back!
We hired Bernie’s to cater our wedding, and they did an amazing job!!
First of all, the food was delicious! We got so many compliments, and several people went back for seconds and took home leftovers!
Second, their menu is amazing. They have several options and you can order as much or as little as you want. The flexibility was something I did not see with any other company, and Bernie’s prices were significantly better than other catering companies as well.
Third, they were incredibly accommodating to our guest’s dietary restrictions! We only had 42 guests and yet we had several people who were vegan, vegetarian, and/or gluten free, plus one person with several food allergies. Again, no other catering company seemed prepared to accommodate us! But Bernie’s was AMAZING, making everything gluten free and providing several options for the vegan and vegetarian guests. Our guests were amazed by this and so happy that they were able to get a full meal!
As a vegetarian myself, I had to eat salad and bread at the last wedding I went to, and I refused to let that be the case for anyone else!! I’m so glad Bernie’s was so accommodating and took all of the dietary restrictions so seriously. We are so grateful!!
Absolutely delicious! I get the grilled teriyaki bowl and I love it. I have celiac disease and unfortunately a lot of places don't offer gluten free teriyaki sauce. Having this place is really awesome because I love teriyaki food.
Worse experience and I have been to many CFS including this one in oviedo. Chia Latte Luke warm with cinnamon all piled on one side and no spoon to stir. Food, well what an experience as hard getting them to give me something gluten free and waitress was difficult to work with. Order a breakfast sandwich I’ve ordered before at a different location and the yucca was gummy and when I tried to convey to waitress they just didn’t care. What has happen? Opening so many and losing the quality. So disappointed
skylar was amazing! the food and drinks were wonderful. i have a severe gluten allergy, and she ensured that my food was 100% safe by getting a manager to deliver my meal to my table. will come back!
How many times have you ordered pizza and been so disappointed? Soggy crust, tasteless veggies, too much sauce and I could go on and on lol For me it’s too many times to count, until I stumbled onto Buttercrust one Door Dash dinner evening . We ordered the Bianca square and the Spinach Artichoke pinwheels. It was legit love at first bite! The pizza crust, the vegetables the pesto , EVERYTHING was so fresh and delicious!!! We have since ordered several more times and have tried the Gluten free Veggie pizza, The Meat lovers Square and the Pepperoni Pinwheels. I don’t think they are capable of making food that doesn’t taste amazing!! I’m a super picky foodie and I give them 5 stars!!!
Giovanni’s is so good!! I wanted Italian food, but I am gluten free. My options at many restaurants are limited, but the hostess was very knowledgeable of the menu. Grace recommended the cauliflower crust cheese pizza and it was delicious! Would come back!!
Tyler G was an amazing server! So personable, very helpful with gluten free menu choices and checked in with us often throughout our meal. Thanks, Tyler!
This restaurant always has a very untraditional take on traditional dishes. I went for a bite 30 and I ordered the alligator jambalaya, the fried chicken, and the Nutella beignets. The jambalaya was actually a deconstructed version of jambalaya. The rice was in rice balls that were fried. They were very tasty, but I was expecting a traditional jambalaya. I should’ve known better. The Nutella mousse that came with the beignets. I took home with me because that’s how good it was. All of my food had good flavor, but the presentation was non-traditional. They also have many options that are gluten-free so if you have a gluten allergy, this would be a really good option for you. For a hotel restaurant, the menu is very interesting and eclectic. The hotel itself is very nice and clean with free parking. I would suggest that if you want to go off the beaten path for a meal, then try this restaurant
From the get-go, the young woman up front was inviting and helpful. Nice to see they offer gluten-free/vegan options. My wife got gluten-free pasta and I tried their dairy-free mozzarella pizza, both which were tasty. The portions are generous at a reasonable price. You can tell the team here care about what they do. In between other customers, I appreciated that the manager checked in on us while we were seated in their area. Look forward to having others try them out after seeing a movie.
what a fun and relaxing place to have a Christmas party!! Gluten-free options are clearly listed on the menu and even on a busy night it is very enjoyable. food was delicious and lots of variety. we will go back for sure!
Yao’s exceeded all of our expectations!
The staff were friendly, the service was on point and the food was fresh and delicious!
As a diner with Celiac, they were able to modify dishes to remove any gluten. They were very careful and discussed all ingredients table side.
We will absolutely be back!
The regular pizza was great! But the gluten free pizza was practically raw in the dough, I don’t know if that’s normal it was our first time ordering but all of my cheese and toppings just slid off and my crust was limp and almost inedible, I air fried it to make it a little more crisp but it didn’t do much :( don’t recommend the gluten free crust
This place just isn’t the same as it was in February-March of this year. The pizzas come out extremely subpar, greasy and ugly, not much care thrown into them and the pizzas have been doughy. Customer service isn’t what it used to be, and the store always seems to be a mess (although granted it’ll be around 6 on a busier day when we’ve ordered, such as Friday or Sunday). It’s just disappointing, there’s no redeeming qualities about this location anymore and I’m not sure what’s happened. If you’re in the Oviedo area close enough to Chuluota, I just recommend going to the Marcos off of 419.
I will say for a plus, the cauliflower crust pizzas are damn good, and serve as a good alternative for people with gluten intolerance, such as my mother.
love this place! the quality of the food is unmatched, as is the customer service and vibe of all the staff. they have gluten-free noodle options which is a huge win on my part. favorite noodle place!
This is definitely a pick up place to go, it’s my go to, near the house, take out joint. Always fresh for me, and pretty tasty in my opinion, it’s a good place, I’m gluten free and get the mei fun and never had issues
The food is affordable and interesting. Tokyo Tapas does not try to be a high end sushi place and that is great as we have plenty of that already. Conveniently they have plenty of delicious gluten free options which is important to my family due to celiacs concerns, so far batting a 1000 keeping gluten free when asked for.
Name changed but same owner and same great fresh Mediterranean food. My favorite is the Gyro Salad and Feta salad (gluten free). I would love to try the new Baklava Cheese cake but not GF. Hope you enjoy it for me.
