What I love most about The Bar is their celiac friendly menu. As someone who is GF, not by choice, it's refreshing to have a menu that I can select amazing food from without worrying about cross contamination and stomach aches. Their staff is always so helpful, kind, and compassionate. I've never had a bad experience here!
Saw this place at the farmers market and was so happy to see completely gluten free!! Had to grab a slice of cheesecake and it was a slice of summers heaven!! Looking forward to my next sweet treat!
Fyi- the gluten-free bun is wonderful here!!! I've gotten the lettuce bun option in the past, so for those who have to avoid gluten, this is a wonderful place to go because there are many options. Also, the avo-cobb-o salad comes in a large portion, and the flavors are fantastic!
It's healthy like like Chipotle, but with more spicy goodness. As an added bonus, there were very attentive and careful to not cross contaminate my gluten-free selections.
The website gives off one expectation and then showing up to dine, gives another. Based on the website alone I expected this to be a sophisticated eatery with tasty, unique menu items. In reality, it’s a typical diner/supper club. I did enjoy my burger with a gluten free bun & fries but my friend got the stir fry and the rice was very overcooked and mushy. I had asked for a box and my friend was finished with her stir fry, she only had a few bites due to the rice, and the waitress boxed up the stir fry but tossed my burger and fries… Waitress didn’t seem very attentive to detail or our table.
Although staff were friendly, when I asked for them to make the gluten free sub on the separate counter per protocol, they said they don’t do that. Would not recommend if you have a gluten allergy.
Food was great 😃 but even though it tasted good it was a disaster!!!!
Atmosphere 😫 It's currently 80 degrees and very humid. Well it's about the same humidity and temperature inside the establishment as it is outside if not worse. Made it hard to even enjoy sitting and relaxing inside. Either fix your air conditioning or scrap it and get a new system. As far as my gluten allergy I'll have to come back to this review and make an edit after 48 hrs. I'll either be completely SICK or I'll be fine. And my allergy is pretty high and risk for cross contamination. I explained this upon ordering. If I get sick I will call this place and tell them they should warn anyone and everyone with gluten allergies not to eat here. Crossing my fingers I'm going to be ok. Edit: definitely NOT ok!! I got glutened BAD 😞. They need to WARN every single gluten sensitive customer and most importantly educate their servers. I will never go back!
Nice staff..quick and efficient. We eat here often as they have corn tortillas which is perfect since my husband has Celiac Diesel so he has to eat gluten-free. Maybe a line, but you can order pick up online/the app.
First time trying, I must say what I heard, did not let me down. I had the gluten free bun, it was very good. Glad their potatoes are cooked by themselves, so little cross contamination if you let them know about your allergies. Grilled chicken was very good. Will be going again.
We ordered on May 4, 2025 around 7pm for delivery. I have Celiac Disease and ordered gluten-free rotini, but received regular fettuccine. Luckily the shape of GF noodles is different, so I noticed right away. However, I was a bit upset because the mistake could have made myself or someone else very sick.
I called the restaurant to get a refund and did not have any intention of going back. However, the manager that night was excellent, apologetic, and gave us a digital gift card to refund the costs.
The manager is very rude. He was condescending the second we walked in as a large family and I was asking about gluten free options. He acted like I was an inconvenience and was disrespectful. He basically threw the menu at me when I wasn't sure what kind of pizza I would like. There were not ingredients listed on the menu. When my pizza came, a gluten free BLT, it had marinara. I wasn't aware that this pizza had sauce and I usually stay away from sauce pizzas since it bothers my acid reflux. So when I went up and asked for it to be remade I was told I would have to pay for a new pizza. I wasn't very happy, as you can imagine. I said that I wasn't aware of the ingredients and that they should have the ingredients listed for future to avoid this type of scenario. He said it was my job to check the other menu ..mind you, this menu has gluten containing pizzas and items. I don't know why I would be looking at that menu ever. And I said that was ridiculous. The manager condescended me and told me I was the one being ridiculous asking for my pizza to be remade. I told him I just want to enjoy a meal with my family and we hardly eat out anyways. We haven't been to pizza ranch in about a year. He finally agreed to remake it. In a very bad attitude.
I went back to our table in tears because of how this man spoke to me so rudely. My husband asked what had happened and I told him. On our way out, my husband decided to advocate for me since he saw how he treated me when we walked in and he had thrown the menu at me. Alejandro was prideful and disrespectful to my husband as well. Refusing to take our concerns (even though he agreed he threw the menu at me) and to hear them at all. He also wouldn't provide us with contact information for his upper management. It was the worst experience we have ever had and we probably won't be back.
My father took my husband, children, and I out for dinner here. The food was amazing. The kids had gluten free burgers that were delicious, my teen had tacos and loves them, my husband and I had the beef short ribs that were tender and so flavorful, and my dad had the parmesan chicken that he couldn't stop raving about.
Now the service was top notch. Brooke was our server and she went above and beyond. She is incredibly friendly, and great with kids too! Such a treat to have a such a delightful server. I hope Mineshaft cherishes her!
The games were fun although a bit of a rip off compared to other places we've been to recently, but we enjoyed our time and it was worth it for the kids since the weather has been too cold. We will likely be back!
The food and drinks were great. You could smell the delicious barbecue from outside. There are lots of gluten-free sides to choose from, which was nice. The service was also great and the environment clean. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area. Also, have catering options if you need to host an event, and the pricing was definitely reasonable.
Great food. Had the Garlic Shrimp & Butter salad. Great dining atmosphere. They have gluten free options which makes it a great place for me. I will always return when I have the itch for a good dining experience.
Held our rehearsal/welcome dinner in their party room and they did an amazing job! The waitress was great at checking in on if people needed refills and restocking our pre-ordered pizzas as our party went through them. When booking their party room, we talked to the manager over the phone several times and he was phenomenal at communicating about our options, pre-ordering our pizzas, recommendations about how many servings to order, and very helpful discussing precautions taken for a member of our party with a gluten allergy.
Best service and very attentive! I am vegan and gluten-free. I was able to eat the fajitas which were delicious. I had enough for lunch the next day. My niece has steak tacos and really liked it.
I think many people would give 5 stars. I do recommend going there. It just didn't have a big Wow factor. The food was delicious. The Guacamole was bland though. The rice has chicken broth. Ask about foods if you have food intolerances. Our waitress was very knowledgeable.

AMAZING Feijoada! So creamy and so tasty! For a Brazilian this means HOME! So, if you would like taste something from Brazil, definitely go there! I don’t have pictures but I recommend Coxinhas (calabresa and frango) (they also have gluten free option), Cod ball and kibe. They also have family size food box that you can bring home and eat during the week!
Best food with tons of flavor. The food is so fragrant and tastes better than it smells. Tons of gluten free options. Family recipes with authentic flavor. Their pad Thai is soooo good. 🤌👌
I ordered an entree through the Noodles app. I have Celiacs disease, so I ordered the gluten free shells and grilled chicken. Well, Lexi from the Oshkosh location personally called me and asked me if my order was because of an allergy, and if it was, she could make it special, allergen free. I was really thankful, for customer service to go above and beyond. So, thank you, Lexi! My Buffalo chicken Mac n cheese is fire!!!!
This place is phenomenal! Everything is all you can eat. It was nice to be able to try different rolls without them being too big if you don't care for it. They even have gluten free yakisoba! My favorite was the coco roll....delicious! Will definitely be back. Our waitress was also very nice and other staff were welcoming and friendly
Absolutely love the gluten free options (I have celiac) and the pho tasted amazing!! Portion for the large is a whole meal and another which who could complain by having leftovers! Love this place!
No pricing on the menu or disclosing of upcharges. The barista was very kind when an order ring-up mistake was made and the kitchen staff was (almost) apologetic when they ran out of gluten free bread, but didnt offer to refund or exchange it. That person in our just didnt get to eat... its a wonderful atmosphere but I need to know how much you're charging for things, especially in this economy.
Overall, it was a good experience. The prices are good as well as the portions. There are lots of options, and I appreciate having a choice of gluten-free buns. I wouldn't say the best food in town but definitely better than fast food and much nicer environment. I would definitely go back.
