Came here from recommendations and my housemate is vegan and also celiac. She was impressed that there was a menu totally catered to her dietary requirements. We were treated with a smile from a lovely lady and shown where we sat. I believe we were not on the servers radar as we were waiting for awhile before I helped myself to the menus 🥹 a server passing us caught on (kudos!) and quickly offered us table water and explained the menu :) The meals are so delicious and can not fault it. Our highlight was the oyster mushroom dish and also the flan 🍮 dessert! A bit of a wait between our entrees and mains however the restaurant was busy. Ambience was wonderful and would definitely recommend anyone to give this vegan restaurant a go!

I keep coming back to this place. Staff are wonderful - friendly and have great customer service skills. Food is delicious and of great quality. We ordered a serve of dumplings, which consists of three dumplings, however the staff can change that to four dumplings to make it easier to share between two people. I also had the fried rice, san choi bao and the chocolate dessert dumplings. This place is great for those with dietary restrictions. They accomodate for gluten free and vegetarian/vegan diets. There is even a separate gluten free soy sauce and hoisin sauce they will put on your table at your request. Teas and drinks on offer are plentiful. I suggest booking/selecting a table by the bar where you can watch the staff make these drinks - it is quite nice to watch.

GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY The Manager was very helpful and welcoming and, holy of holies in the modern age of hospitality, actually answered the phone (and promptly), even during the lunchtime rush hour, to my pre visit enquiry. And, as someone who has just been medically diagnosed with C (o)eliac Disease (not just "Gluten Sensitivity") on top of a variety of other autoimmune issues, like Mold Toxicity, their Gluten Free options were a huge plus. Particularly their wholegrain Gluten Free bread which actually tasted, by and large, like a reasonably nice bread. Rather than sub par cardboard. General service and atmosphere both 100 percent. And the only reasons I was struggling to even give the place 4 Stars, overall, were the facts that the health benefits of the gluten free options were rather undermined. Both by the distinctly oversaltedness of my scrambled eggs on gluten free toast. And the absence on their menu of Lactose Free milk (the ubiquitous presence of the hugely overrated...and oversugared, Milk (F)lab brand of Almond Milk does not make up for this omission I'm afraid). Way, way better than most for Celiacs and other alike. But why cater for Gluten Free but not Lactose Free?

What a wonderful find with great food and super friendly staff. This cafe was 70m from our airbnb and open everyday of the Easter long weekend. Expecting it to be crowded we ordered takeaway easily over the phone. It was ready at the time they said and we thoroughly enjoyed the chicken hero sandwich with crispy chicken skin, pork and fennel sausage and crispy duck fat potatoes. The red velvet tea cakes with strawberries, cream and blueberry jam were beyond moist m, soft and delicious and happened to be gluten free. Both hubby’s cappuccino and my Soy Mocha were the epitome of perfect Melbourne coffees. We ordered by SMS 2 days later and Donovan the owner recognised my order and remembered my name though I hadn’t written it in the text. I wish I had a cafe this great in Brisbane or Sydney where I live. I will definitely return to this cafe when I stay in the area next. Highly recommended! Thanks to the crew! 😊🙏
