Strong point: Gluten-free pizza crust is available.
Slight weakness: The service was like "hurry up, we have other people to seat at your table," and there was no feedback if the food was to the table's liking. We were a small group of seven, and we felt like we were in the way, even though we had a reservation in advance.
During our meal, our party of six had four “best we’ve ever had”s. One person had the best burger, one had the best gluten free bun, one had the best poutine, and one had the best tofu they’ve ever had. If that’s not a ringing endorsement, you’re not the type of person to be convinced by Google Maps reviews anyways.
Went there with my roommate yesterday night, and I’ve gotta say I was impressed. Their salmon ‘hygee’ poke is literally to die for!
Also, I really appreciate the fact that they have a list of allergens they can show to costumers, and how you can just ask them to make a lot of dishes gluten free for you.
I would definitely recommend this place to any poke lover
Very current for a medieval name. Warm atmosphere, excellent original lunches (brioche with caramel sauce au gratin) and gluten-free lunch available. Excellent coffee (nothing like commercial coffee).
Beautiful space, great service, awesome breakfast buffet and cool cocktails!
The one thing I wish they did was label their breakfast buffet for the different dietary restrictions so that you don’t have to ask the server who has to ask the kitchen all the time and to have more options for Dairy free or Gluten free.
Boxing Day and Quebec City is so festive . A look inside this quaint restaurant beckoned us. There exists a warmth upon entering and the host is absolutely delightful. She helped us select gluten free options and was so cheerful despite the hectic pace required to serve patrons. The food is also outstanding. This family owned restaurant might be the best kept secret in all of Quebec City.
