Not only is everything fresh, they also accommodate gluten and shellfish allergies. Our favorite is the 2 for $70 deal. Definitely enough food to share and you get dessert. We've tried almost everything and enjoy the differences each roll has.
The bar seems like the highlight of the place. I can't say it was the cleanest, but the food was good. As someone who is gluten free and afraid of getting sick at pizza places, this was a success. It tastes good (as good as gluten free pizza can get) and was safe. I had the cauliflower crust.
My Burma surprised me! Lots of gluten free options and a knowledgeable wait staff! Each dish was flavorful and well balanced. Mango chicken, peppered lamb, pad Thai, and pineapple fried rice were all delicious!
a very nice staff member, zach, chatted with us then offered us spread. my friend asked for it in a cup, and it was delivered. then, we asked if the spread was gluten free (my friend is celiac). zach checked if it was gluten free (it is!) but the spread in the cup was made by a spatula that touched a bun. zach then got us spread in a packet. zach did all this while being kind and friendly. give zach a raise!
Such a great place with yummy gluten free pizza and an array of toppings. I was thrilled to learn this is a chain. We will definitely be visiting the one local to us in Texas!
First time visiting since this location switched over from Bistro 33, and we are SO glad we gave it a try! The outdoor seating is gorgeous and in such a prime spot of downtown, I’m so thankful to have another great dining spot to take advantage of, especially once the warm weather hits!
Food was superb! We ordered the Milanese Chicken and Spouse ordered the Seared Salmon. Presentation was wonderful, but the flavor and quality of the food really made the evening. All staff were so polite, professional and helpful. Dessert was stunning and so delicious! Also noted there are quite a few Gluten Free/Vegetarian options on the menu, which makes me excited to share with close friends that have dietary restrictions.
Absolutely cannot wait to come back!
It's not fancy, but the poke is good. We did have a little trouble with one order that was supposed to be adjusted to be gluten free. The guy who took the order said he would leave off the fake crab but the guy who actually made it did not take it off. If you are a sensitive celiac person, you'll need to be careful. But most of the time I can't even get gluten free poke around here.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the outdoor seating and friendly staff. The only things that are hard are that dishes are more expensive than with other Indian/Nepali restaurants in Davis, and the food can take up to 30 minutes to prepare, so be prepared to wait. Luckily there are shops close by you can go to while you wait. I love the food variety and flavors here, especially the gluten-free dishes. The restaurant is beautifully designed. I miss it!
It pains me to write a review of this nature but I refuse to remain silent. Long story short, I have been to this establishment multiple times over the past couple of years. I have gone with my mom, my mom and friends, my second cousin, and with a friend on my most recent visit. Each of these times, Tasia (spelling?) has sort of snubbed us. However, when either my mom and/or I go with friends that frequent the restaurant multiple times per week (usually), we are treated like we "belong." This is very sad. I told our friends the other day that I will not go there unless I go with them as long as ownership stays the same. It's very sad and inexcusable. Every single customer should be treated the same way. The above being said, Tiffany, Steven, and our waiter this last time (Josh) are awesome! Top notch!! Cool people! The pork loin was very fatty this last time and the female owner was filling water glasses and walked by us several times and never refilled ours. Yes, I could have asked. However, I shouldn't have had to, so I didn't. My friend is on a strict gluten-free diet and Josh immediately let us know about all of the options and filled us in on the fact that gluten-free bread was available. My friend had the cauliflower steak. Awesome! Yum! I'm not even a cauliflower fan but savored the bites I had! Josh was stellar!
Very good Mexican food and with the rare option to modify for gluten free and vegan. I totally intended to snap a picture but It looked to good to wait lol
Busy, noisy place with great not very expensive food. Less crowded for breakfast. When we call ahead the food is ready after our 15 minute walk. I have not had reactions to gluten when they are informed while ordering/ not celiac. Lines can be out the door past the hot wings place, so call ahead & skip the line
Came here several times with my family, each time has been great. I've tried the medium pepperoni, mostly, and a mini - these were fantastic. My family has tried gluten-free and hawaiian and they loved those. We'll keep coming back here for pizza in the future.
We absolutely love this restaurant. This place has become the place that we go to for all our special occasions and even if we just want to treat ourselves for a nice dinner. As someone who is vegetarian and whose husband is celiac, we appreciate and love the options available for both of us. Some seasonal menus we love more than others, though we have found something we love on each menu. Only once have we tried something that we really did not like and they were very kind and understanding of it. We recommend sitting outside since it's a beautiful garden and a little less cramped than the interior dining. This is THE hidden gem of Davis.
The gluten free items on the menu were very clearly marked, and the server was very knowledgeable about which foods contained gluten and where cross contamination was possible. He even made sure the sushi chef uses a separate knife and gloves when preparing gluten free items. There were enough options to satisfy us too, including BBQ oysters, garlic edamame, spicy tuna roll, and various nigiri, sashimi and more. Love the scallop nigiri. Excellent portions and inviting atmosphere, even a cool sushi serving robot. Will definitely be back!
So, we got here and thought... The price is a bit steep. But when we ate our food, it was all worth it. and they definitely don't go easy on the ingredients. (Check out the pictures). I was happy for the keto friendly option and gluten free as well. There is much more here than pizza so I think I might try those items next time. I signed up for their rewards program and that saved me 10%. We will definitely be coming back here. They have a bunch of TVs playing football and a little arcade, so that was entertaining.
We had a mushroom burger, fries and salad. The burger was messy and delicious, fries were lightly crispy and done how I prefer them! The bacon was crispy and thick. The service was good too. It was quiet while we were there and laid back. My husband is gluten-free, and he enjoyed his burger-in-a-bowl
