I have been back here several times. I DO recommend it. The food is always spot on. They have great gluten free options and the pizza is some of the best. The complaint I have today is about the service. We came at 11 am and were not offered a brunch menu, only lunch. We saw other people eating breakfast and when she came back we asked her. The server did not make much effort at all throughout the service. She never came back after we received our food, infact I had to flag her down for some things. Once again the food is always outstanding. We will continue to frequent them. I would recommend for any occasion.

Food was great,had bacon cheese omelette with gluten free banana pancakes. My son had a meat lovers omelette and he loved it . Great place to eat if you want a huge gluten free menu. Highly recommend trying this place!.

Cannot sing high enough praises of chianti grill or our experience here for our anniversary. John was out server and was the best waiter I've had at a restaurant. We got the surf and turf and the lobster linguine with gluten free noodles. It was all exquisitely prepared and delightful. We also enjoyed the calamari, old fashioned, Chardonnay, and Tennessee cheesecake. Highly recommend this grill for any special occasion!

I ordered the filet mignon my wife ordered from the gluten friendly menu. My meat was hot and cooked perfectly. The fingerling potatoes had some kind of herb that tasted poorly. The roasted Brussels sprouts were quite good. My only other thing I would have preferred to be different was the amount of salt used. I would prefer less salt. I can always add more if I want but it's difficult to remove salt. My wife enjoyed her meal. Something that Google maps failed on, is the directions to get here. This business has only an exterior entry from the parking lot and absolutely no entry from the mall. Google directed me to park in a spot that was on the lower level and around the corner from Crave.

La Tapatia 5 stars because the food really showed out! Authentic, flavorful Mexican food, definitely some of the best in Minnesota and felt like it was a hidden gem for sure. We came on a Saturday, at about 4/4:30, before the dinner rush, purposefully. Service: We were warmly greeted after entering their somewhat long hallway. Our server was helpful with the menu when we asked but never smiled. They weren’t busy at this time and I felt like they were attentive. Food: this is where they shine! We loved everything we ordered. We started with Queso Blanco, Guacamole and freshly made chips. Everything was good, particularly the chips. For our main course we ordered tacos and Burrito. The Tacos we ordered (which were all corn) included the Al Pastor (4/5) street style, Chorizo (5/5) Tejano style, Pescado (fried fish- 4/5), Camarones (grilled shrimp 5/5) Tejano style, Burrito was vegetarian (5/5). We also ordeeed a large rice, which was the best Mexican rice we have ever had. We loved all the salsas and tried each of them. The hot was hot but totally still enjoyable. The Salsa verde and Salsa Aguacate (w/avocado) were are favorites and both milder. The only drink menu we were given has beers on it (which neither of us usually do) but we shared a raspberry beer, it was nice. Unfortunately we were too full to try desserts but they looked delicious and I heard they are. Food portions are not large, so you definitely won’t feel like you’re overeating. They have gluten-free options, and vegetarian options so you can find something for almost everyone. Atmosphere: It was warmly decorated with high ceilings. It’s not a large place but I’m sure would accommodate a lot more if it were summer and the patio area was open for sure. It wasn’t loud but then again, we came before a rush. The seating is not the most comfortable, as it’s high tops or diner tables with metal chairs (high top chairs have no backs). It felt like a family/kid friendly area and lots to look at. You go for the food and you will be pleasantly surprised. I definitely recommend and we plan to come back!

I like the laid back atmosphere and easy parking. My favorite dishes are the Lazi Chicken and General Tso chicken. The Lazi Chicken has a good amount of spice and it goes well with the sweetness of the General Tso Chicken if you can share with another person. Both items are available gluten free, and I think the General Tso Chicken is better gluten free than normal style. It is lightly breaded and crispy. The cream cheese wontons are very crispy with a light sweetness in the filling.

The food was great! They made the street tacos gluten and dairy free without any trouble. I ordered from the kiosk inside the restaurant. I waited for 5 minutes and my order was ready. Cool salsa bar. Very reasonable prices!
