They have more than 120 beers, including gluten-free (some craft) and the food (absolutely all gluten-free) is incredible. You can eat without worries about cross contamination. Given my celiac disease we asked by phone (to the Italian OWNER) if non-contamination was guaranteed, he told us that Gluteen free pasta was possible. When we arrived at the restaurant our table was occupied by others, after the wait also the mockery. The cutlery was dirty, shortly after we discovered that in reality there is absolutely nothing Gluteen free, since they have only one kitchen that by law does not allow this possibility. Obviously we got up and left. Without considering the further inconvenience caused since at 10 pm the restaurants are in the process of closing. A slap in the face to Italian honesty.

Really nice place. And the glutenfree dough is homemade and doesn't cost extra. This is so special for someone who can't eat gluten. It feels and tastes just like a normal pizza. Since I have to eat glutenfree this is the best Pizza I had - by far.

We are frequent customers of Gandhi Tandoori because the food is really good, the buffet is worth it and the staff is so friendly and informative in regards to allergies. To be honest I haven't tried alot of other Indian cuisine restaurants because I have always been satisfied at Gandhi Tandoori. Well done and keep it up. All I would lo e to see is more light in the restaurant. Lactose and gluten intolerant.

Stumbled upon this place on the way to the bus station. Love that it opens early (we arrived at 8 am) and has an inclusive menu (items clearly marked if vegetarian, contains gluten, contains nuts, etc). We ordered the chunky monkey pancakes and shakshuka, both of which were beautiful & flavorful! Portion sizes are very reasonable. Our server was attentive and kind. The interior decor and music was so welcoming. Would definitely try to go back if our trip allows!

I had the Genovese Tagliatelle, but gluten free so it came as fusilli.
It was DELICIOUS! The best taste and texture gluten free pasta I have had in a very long time.
I recommend this restaraunt to anyone gluten free as they can make any pizza or pasta dish gluten free. The staff are super friendly.
I would say, though, to be aware that it is a bar too so there were some rowdy people watching football and drinking when I was there. Didn't detract from my enjoyment of the food however!
Pretty good value at about $10.

Amazing place gf food fantastic!
Shared a meal with my husband for the first time in 10 years of being celiac.
A 10 day visit and we ate each night. Claire was great at explaining what I could have and answered every question I asked.
We had pizza, soups, chicken pie, bruschetta and all delicious 😋
We will be back in September and we will be trying more on the menu. My husband ate with me and said he couldn't tell the difference. This is how good it is.!!
The cafe is warm and welcoming the staff all lovely and very helpful. Thank you Claire for making our holiday so relaxing knowing I was safe to eat delicious food and with my husband was brilliant. See you in September

To those who believe that it is impossible to eat better abroad than at home, I wish you an experience at Sabbagata, where the word gourmet belongs to the past.
But it is from the past that the chef claims the heritage of gastronomic identities that he uses to innovate his dishes
Truly amazing raw material! There are many homemade preparations.
Bread, breadsticks, pasta, desserts and much more are all produced daily and it is rare that a celiac can eat normally like everyone else.
The wine list is vast and complete and the service is impeccable.
During our stay we reported the restaurant to several people and everyone then thanked us for the excellent experience they had.
And this is why Sabbagata will be our fixed appointment every time we return to Malta.
