The worst food I have eaten in a very long time. Bivouac used to be amazing what happened?!
The fried potatoes which sounded like they would be crispy were chunks of greasy potato with a horrible sauce that left a weird aftertaste in your mouth. The crispy skin pork was stale and soggy skin. When I gave feedback I was told that’s because they cook it in the oven and fry it… not oh I’m sorry let me fix this. Ridiculous excuse. The chimichurri was not chimichurri it was like a weird tasteless spinach thing. The sauces were flavourless. Honestly it was hard to find anything I enjoyed at a once great restaurant.
I will say there are many gluten free options and the chicken wasn’t dry. Those are the only positives I can find.
I’ve eaten here many times, but this time decided to get something different. I was really shocked to be charged $3:50 for a piece of gluten free pita bread, then told I couldn’t have the normal bread that usually comes with the spicy feta dip. I should’ve asked for the dip and added the gf bread. Small dip and small coleslaw cost just under $20,! Not happy, Jan!
My fav restaurant in Perth. Food is fresh, tasty and authentic. Caters to gluten free and vego/vegans so well! Small criticism is that it feels as if they are trying to squish too many people in the modest space, which makes for a slightly uncomfortable dining experience. The toilet is a bit sketchy too. However I will continue to return because the food is just magnificent.
Magnificent!! The service was inviting, the restaurant felt like a slice of the Mediterranean. The food had all the gluten free, vegetarian, vegan options.
I sat down to char grilled octopus that ignited my taste buds, a crisp Greek salad, finished with a GF mousse cheesecake and espresso Martini.
A must visit! I will return!
Randomly stopped by for a Saturday lunch and had one of the tastiest plates of food I have had in ages. The service was great with the lovely waitperson taking time to explain how the dish was prepared and making note of my gluten free allergy. The food is very reasonably priced. Can't wait to bring back a group of friends and try more dishes. Highly recommend the chicken shwarma plate.
My Wofe and I just got 2 pizzas for takeaway.
The friendly service the extensive menu and looking after people with dietary requirements.
Such as gluten free and dairy free with vegan cheese.
That ment my wife could enjoy a delicious pizza.
Thank you so much, Amuni
My two children and I are gluten intolerant. We were very pleased to know that the chef knows about cross contamination and assured us that the meat was cooked separately from the bread. Then our friendly waitress offered us an alternative to the bread for our entree.
We will be returning to the restaurant confident that our dietary needs are catered for without any issues. Thank you Naab.
*A place not for dietry requirements* Picked an item from the menu that states GF, meaning Gluten Free, nothing in these ingredients contain gluten, simple right.. and confirmed with the waiter that it's definitely GF, who confirmed that it is. Food delivered to the table was not GF. Asked again if it was GF which was then taken away with another sent to our table by a different waiter. Again, asked if this is GF and the waiter said he would check. He came back and said it is not. Spoke with the manager who said because coeliac wasn't stated at the time of the order, they couldn't do it GF... what kind of response is this... Gluten Free means Gluten Free.. you are falsly advertising dietary information when you can't fulfil this. No apology was given, no reward for inconvenience was offered.. sickening experience and a great demonstration by the manager of his lack in customer service abilities.
Beautiful food, service and vibes. Very relaxed and laidback. I just drove past and decided to give it a try and I will definitely be back. They have so many gluten free options, aswell as a few vegan. The lamb was so tender and the stew was delicious. Support local
By far! The Best Falafel I’ve had in Australia 🥹🥹🥹Omg. The place is spacious, calm and friendly. The food was wtf amazing: fresh, flavorful and authentic. Take a break from boring fish and chips / sandwiches - come here!! Incredible options for vegetarians and gluten free diets. I just can’t get over how amazing it was! 😭♥️
We visited for a friend's birthday and we were very impressed indeed with the delicious offerings. We're not ones for tapas generally but we're already planning to return! Spacious, with nice and very helpful staff. They take allergies and coeliac disease seriously and the mocktails innovative and delicious. Ticking all the boxes for us!
Gluten free friendly! One waitstaff in particular was very helpful letting me know what was safe for me to eat, which was most of the buffet! Couldn’t eat dessert, but was full anyway.
Delicious food and we had a belly dancer for entertainment. Easy parking and good atmosphere
The spicy charcoal chicken was my fave and the hummus - perfection. Gluten free and vegan options. Love Lebanese food! It's in Como and worth a try. ❤️
Went to the Oriental Breeze Restaurant for a friend's birthday dinner yesterday evening. My first time eating in a restaurant specialising in Saudi Arabian cuisine, I did not quite know what to expect. A little apprehensive, I was however excited to try something different, and was rewarded with some absolutely delicious food that was beautifully presented in generous portions, good value for money. I ordered the Kabsah with Lamb Shank, and was very pleased with it. Next time, I may try the Saleegue with Lamb Shank, which a friend ordered and was equally impressed by. With a decent variety of gluten-free options available, I'm looking forward to returning to this delightful restaurant and highly recommend you do yourself the favour of a visit too yourself.
