While strolling along the seafront, we came across this restaurant that had gluten-free options.
Despite not having a reservation, we were given a table within minutes.
The entire staff was truly delightful, but the waiters who served us were especially wonderful. Thanks to Pere and Joel for their kindness, professionalism, friendliness, and charm.
The gluten-free pizzas were delicious.
I highly recommend this place.
It's beautifully located, right on the promenade with a sea view. I had the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had here. The service was great, and everyone was incredibly friendly. We were there with our two children (4 and 2). We even got a free kids' shot as a farewell treat.
We went there several times during our vacation because we loved it so much.
Fantastic restaurant. The food is of very good quality, they also have gluten-free products and they are very attentive to the subject. We tried the brothy rice with cuttlefish and monkfish that they had off the menu and it was a 10.
From its terrace next to the Estany des Peix, every visit is like a hug from the sea: a family-friendly atmosphere, serene views, and the aromas of freshly made pasta. The staff treats you like a visiting relative: friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The menu, without gimmicks, ranges from golden pizzas to seductive pastas to gluten-free options for everyone.
The prices are fair (something rare in Formentera), so repeat visits become a habit. And yes, their reputation precedes them… so it's best to book before you arrive.
There's just one "small" drawback…
THEY ARE CLOSED ON TUESDAYS! 😅
So if you're planning your breakfast by the lake, but your calendar says Tuesday… prepare to gaze at the water with a raised eyebrow and a treacherous stomach. But hey: after Monday, there are only six great opportunities to return!
Can you guess which day we went?
Very good, spectacular tapas and gluten-free. The service is very friendly and attentive.
The place is very cozy. Price about €32 per head. Highly recommended and if you are celiac you can't miss it.
Very nice location by the sea in Cala Ratjada.
Of course there was pasta and pizza. A dream for people with gluten intolerance, as both pizza and pasta are also prepared gluten-free at no extra charge.
Our daughter was thrilled
I stopped by here for lunch a few days ago (being gluten intolerant I found the restaurant on an app dedicated to gluten free restaurants). Nothing to say about the gluten-free options which in fact are there, complete with warm SG bread. The thing I didn't like was the quality of the food (the cuttlefish couldn't be chewed because it was so hard, the olives were so-so), and a member of the staff who we asked for information by getting up from the table several times (she was apparently engaged in a long conversation with a friend of hers).
Looking for restaurants with gluten-free options, we found this restaurant in Porto Cristo, after informing the staff of my partner's celiac disease, they were very attentive, informing us that the frying is done without the use of gluten, we tried both the fried calamari and the pot of mussels (in the photo). Approved and recommended for those who have problems with gluten
Nice food and friendly staff, but unlikely to come over again. Apparently this place changed the name a couple of times, so look for "Luuma Beach" if there is no man there who is calling out to new visitors 😉
Gluten free pizza and pasta available!
Lovely place for a nice evening out. Modern tapas, reasonably large portions. You really have enough with 2 dishes per person, quickly choice stress!
Allergies are handled very carefully. They are clearly stated on the menu and with gluten-free it is prepared on a separate side of the kitchen.
I’ve eaten here twice now, and I’m so happy to have found a place that truly understands food allergies. It’s such a relief to know there are still restaurants that take gluten and dairy allergies seriously. The paella was absolutely delicious – actually, everything I tried was amazing.
I felt like I could just relax and enjoy my food without worrying, which is such a rare and welcome experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming – they really went out of their way to make sure everything was okay for me.
I highly recommend this place, especially if you have dietary restrictions. Next time I’m in Port de Sóller, I’ll definitely be coming back!
Very good restaurant with a view of the bay. Very pleasant and accommodating service! The dishes are delicious to the eyes and taste buds. Special mention because it is suitable for all special diets (veggie, gluten-free, children, etc.).
An exquisite moment, thank you! 😘
Very good service. EXCELLENT FOR CELIAC PEOPLE. At all times they warn you about what contains gluten and they prepare all the dishes suitable for celiacs. Very friendly and helpful, I will definitely return
Delicious food in a beautiful, quaint setting with lovely staff, I honestly don’t think you could get a tastier or better value meal anywhere else in the area!
€30 for 6 tapas (of YOUR selection, from an extensive menu) plus tomato bread (which they kindly did half and half for my gluten-free coeliac girlfriend) is an absolute bargain! I can really eat, but this was plenty enough for 2 people, and I was very full afterwards.
I’d definitely recommend the dates with bacon and the pork loin with mushrooms, but EVERYTHING was perfect, and all that I saw coming to other tables looked amazing too!
Please make sure to book, this restaurant is VERY popular!!
Food was good on a fairly standard Spanish menu. The owner was great for gluten free questions and help as his wife is coeliac. There is a separate fryer and he was very accommodating.
Wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the burrata, it was the best I have tasted and the same was said by a neighbouring table. We also had white fish ceviche, scallops and tuna tartare - all delicious. The service was exceptional and I would dine again if I had more time. Thank you. *gluten free options are available.
La Guapa is a spectacular place. The quality of the food is great and you have a lot of meat and seafood options (and gluten-free options). The location is perfect because it is a minute walk from the port. Finally, the service is phenomenal!! Our waiters Fernando and Quique are very attentive, helpful with any questions, and put love into their work. The best restaurant in Menorca!!
The best restaurant to eat paella in Ibiza! I have been a thousand times and they have never disappointed. 10/10 on absolutely everything! I am also celiac and they take that into account!
Last night I went to dinner with some friends at this beautiful restaurant in Santa Catalina and we really enjoyed both the food and the super cozy and chic atmosphere.✨️
I had seen it recommended on several occasions, its menu perfectly indicates the allergens and I previously spoke by phone with the head chef who told me that I could be calm about celiac disease, she also recommended the tempura cauliflower and it turned out to be a success for the 4 friends.
It is a restaurant with options for people with celiac disease (all grilled meats) and they have a separate fryer with which they cook the potatoes. They take into account cross contamination.
Very friendly service, we felt well cared for.
Anyway, I had a happy time.
The food is delicious and the staff are
They welcome us like friends.
One more time before I die (not once, but many times)
It has become a place I want to visit.
All are great, but especially the garlic shrimp.
It was the most delicious thing in my life 🦐
The texture of the shrimp is outrageous,
Bread goes well with the garlicky seasoning.
Also, the owner's recommendation is the stew of beef cheek.
I'm impressed by how soft it is that you can scoop it up with a spoon.
I also ordered an octopus dish because I like octopus.
very soft and cooked
Of course the seasoning is perfect.
For dessert, I chose gateau chocolat.
Gluten-free, with nuts
Vanilla ice cream is on top.
Surprisingly, the sauce uses vinegar.
This is also shockingly delicious.
When eaten with the accompanying grapes
It's so delicious that our cheeks fall.
It may sound exaggerated, but
Everything was really delicious and I was happy.
The staff are very kind and friendly
5 stars is not enough
They responded kindly.
My husband is not good at alcohol (but he wants to drink)
However, I chose something lighter to match that.
I was very happy with your suggestion.
It's a wonderful place to satisfy both your stomach and your heart.
I will definitely come again.
Shogo, Honoka
I came with my friends for dinner, and it turned out to be a scam! Everything was frozen! The squid tasted like a plastic bag! The burger patty was drier than dried tuna... I felt ripped off in terms of quality and price. We had to eat ice cream afterward to stuff ourselves. The service was very good, and the celiac patient was very well informed.
Delicious gluten-free options. My friend and I are both celiacs and we were able to eat without problems at this restaurant thanks to the gluten-free options and the perfect attention of the waiters. We had quail carpaccio for dinner, tomatoes with tuna and scrambled eggs with sausage, all gluten-free!
Wonderful restaurant with the best service we’ve ever had.
Outstanding manager who made us feel welcome within a blink of an eye.
Food was simply delicious and well-prepared.
First restaurant we’ve been to where being a couple that’s gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant and pregnant all at the same time wasn’t any issue at all. Quite amazing actually.
Recommend this place to everyone.
Excellent food, and even better service.
We ate black rice and paella and both rice dishes were exquisite.
The service and the owner were excellent, very attentive and when I told them that I was celiac and couldn't eat gluten they told me that without a problem they even had gluten-free bread.
Price around €30/pers.
Ordered gluten free catch of the day fish meal. They bring it topped with crisp onion (which contains gluten), older female waiter apologised this and that was good. We waited some time to new meal. I asked if they could offer us some desserts but younger femalle waiter was quite rude and didnt understand why I even ask. Maybe she’d never heard of service 😏. Ruined my good mood.
Tried a pulled pork burger was 18euro no service charge which is good. Quick service.
The burger was ok not bad but not something i have to try again
Came with the perfect amount of potatoe chips wedges and sauces (mayo, tomato, musturd)
Very friendly waiter staff.
They offer gluten free buns and other alternatives which is good
Incredible food, excellent service, warm hospitality. The fresh bread (balloon) was on another planet, will definitely be visiting again on the next trip. The gluten free options was brilliant as were the vegetarian options. Overall a great dinner!
Ca'n Lluis in Menorca is a true culinary pleasure. Its traditional cuisine and local flavors are exceptional. Very happy with the treatment when choosing gluten-free foods! Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. An unforgettable gastronomic experience!
