We went this past 3/07 to eat with the family, since my wife and daughter are celiac and said restaurant is accredited by the FACE, as soon as you enter you find a corner with pastries, bread... etc. that is to say full of gluten, we were served by a man who did not even accompany us to the table, since we had made a reservation and we warned that there were two people with celiac and they told us that it was not a problem since nothing gluten was allowed in the restaurant. They brought us the menu and a handwritten menu where there was nothing about the allergens, nor were we informed by the waiter, we ordered 4 menus and we informed the waiter that my wife was allergic to melon and the waiter offered to change it for another dish, for main courses we ordered two paella and two fideuá, trusting that everything is gluten-free, and the waiter at no time asked us if we wanted the fideuá with gluten or without gluten, and then the owner of the restaurant showed me the PDAs where they take notes and the two options appear, they brought us the food and my wife told us that the fideuá was super well done, when a waitress came to remove the plates so we could order desserts, we told her that the fideuá was very well done for being gluten-free, at that moment the waitress's face was a poem, she told us that said fideuá was with gluten, it is unacceptable that in a restaurant accredited by the FACE things happen, one thing can be due to a small error due to cross contamination, but this is UNACCEPTABLE, it's a very serious mistake. So I hope they revoke this accreditation for the benefit of people with celiac disease, as a series of errors like this are unacceptable, as they are risking their health. We won't be returning.
Gluten-free pizzas, pasta, and beer, and they can customize almost the entire menu. The pizzas are very good and there's a wide variety. Excellent service. It's very nice to find places like this for celiacs.
Starting with the place, it is spectacular, the service is very pleasant and professional and the quality of the food is 10, plus I am celiac and they have been very careful with my food.
We tried a couple of delicious croquettes, a risotto and a pizza, and everything was very, very good. And the best thing is that they have many gluten-free options: pizzas, croquettes, and many other things. Great, we will definitely return.
A disappointing experience from start to finish. From our arrival, the service was slow and disorganized: it took them forever to take our order and between courses the wait was exasperating, to the point that we had to remind them several times that we were still there.
The worst was the irresponsible handling of the gluten issue. We asked for gluten-free options and they assured us that there would be no problem, but after trying the dish, we realized – due to taste, texture and subsequent discomfort – that it was clearly not suitable. When complaining, they only offered vague apologies and excused themselves by saying that “it happened to them.”
In short, a place that does not respect its customers or their dietary needs. Neither for the food, nor for the service, nor for the seriousness would we return. Absolutely NOT recommended
Coeliac paradise! So much choices, great food, excellent service. Even desserts are wonderful. A must for gluten free food in Catalonia. Fully recommended ❤️
Informal but quality place. Almost everything on the menu is available in gluten-free and gluten-free versions. Very good service. Suitable for celiacs.
We have been for lunch and dinner a couple of times and the food is excellent, almost the entire menu is gluten-free!! Exceptional service and very welcoming atmosphere. Everything is great! I highly recommend it
We'd never been before, and it's definitely a place we'll return to. The restaurant's terrace is beautifully decorated with plants and lights, so it doesn't even feel like you're on the street. The food was fantastic; everything was delicious. And the service was spectacular, with a young and very professional team. We'll definitely be back.
Another plus is that they have gluten-free pizza.
a super nice restaurant with sea views and a terrace. The staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. Incredible food and especially the gluten-free options. I am celiac and there is quite a variety of options on the menu, and, as a warning, they prepare everything separately so that there is no cross contamination. It was all good and we loved it, if we return we would definitely repeat.
My favorite gluten free pizza place. The dough is excellent and they also don't charge a premium like other places. Many times I go unexpectedly and they always have a table, even though it is a very busy place. Fast and attentive service.
It is a small restaurant, but it has a very well decorated terrace and you want to sit outside for dinner when the weather is nice.
I had dinner with a friend. I recommend the German pizza, good combination of flavors and the dough is thin and crispy. My friend is gluten intolerant, she ordered the gluten-free 4 seasons pizza and she really liked it.
If you are gluten intolerant, the waitress warns you of possible cross contamination.
Best to make a reservation! Lots of people! (For the people there, once inside you couldn't really notice the noise or the feeling of being crowded)
Incredible restaurant. I love how it's decorated, with very good taste. 👍
From the outside it looks small, but inside it's large. It has a terrace, and a covered terrace that, with the heaters on, feels luxurious. 👍
The food is very good, although the dishes are a bit small for the price. The desserts are also delicious, and they're on the larger side. 😅
They also have little things for celiacs, like bread, which many places don't take into account. 👍
Fast service, very friendly and attentive at all times. 👍
On one downside, parking is difficult, and the available parking is in a blue zone.
We'll definitely return, but to celebrate something special. 🥂
A nice, cozy, beautiful, and quiet place to surprise and feel at ease. 🥂👍
We ordered small plates to share: 2 waters, 2 Coca-Colas, 1 wine, and 4 desserts. 170 euros or so. 5 adults and one child.
Restaurant with vegan options, gluten-free options. Restaurant created with the intention of making life easier regardless of your dietary condition. Delicious food and loving owners.
First time in Barcelona, found this cafe while looking for potatoes and gluten free dishes. Tried their baked potatoes and they were delicious. The vegan homemade sauce was a treat to experience. They have big variety of gluten free cakes and gluten free dishes.
The staff was super friendly and positive.
Highly recommend.
🙂
We did my sister's bachelorette party, there were 18 of us, one of whom was celiac and another was pregnant. They were very attentive to avoid possible cross-contamination and informed us and offered alternatives for the girl who was pregnant. At all times they were very attentive to us and made the dinner a 10 experience! Totally recommended :)
very good service and good food, as a suggestion we would also love to have a mushroom sauce offer that is not just pasta for gluten intolerant, thank you!
We had lunch at this place on the last day of our vacation. We were walking in the Gothic Quarter and scrolling through Google Maps I first checked that it was possible to order gluten-free dishes and then looked at some photos. The offer seemed interesting to us and so around 12:50 we went in. We were given a menu that however listed few dishes and the gluten-free ones were only sweet (pancakes and waffles). I asked if we could have a gluten-free savory alternative and the only thing that was offered to me was a handful of rocket with salmon and feta accompanied by 4 gluten-free pancakes. Almost at the end of our lunch we see that at the other tables they start serving pokè and other types of sandwiches, pasta and toast not on the menu. When we asked why we were rudely told that we had asked for the brunch menu when we entered (which was not true considering that I did not know they did brunch and above all because we found the menu on the table) then to justify themselves by saying that brunch was until 1:30 pm (which they did not warn us about claiming that it was written outside) and then with the change of time they moved on to lunch. Leaving aside the lack of flexibility given the time of our entry as well as the lack of "business sense" considering that I explicitly asked several times for gluten-free savory dishes, present on the lunch menu, I add that when we left we read that brunch was until 1:00 pm which therefore ended 10 minutes after our arrival, information that can then be verified also on their website, therefore they simply made a mistake and could have apologized. Profit and loss account.
We were a group of 18, we had a very nice space for us, surprisingly few people on a Saturday night, fantastic service mainly from Natalia, they have Gluten Free bread, and good enough food. Potatoes, eggs and foie very good.
Excellent, varied, homemade, and high-quality food. Everything we ordered was excellent. Another star for the convenience for those with celiac disease or gluten or other allergies. Everything is perfectly explained on the menu. And a double star for Mireia: kindness, empathy, and professionalism. It was a pleasure. We will return. Thank you!
They are not only specialists with embers but also have flexibility for all those intolerant or celiac people. And all this at a price fully accepted for the quality received.

TAPS Bar
Carrer de la Mare de Déu del Remei, 53, Barcelona, Spain
Place run by Italians. Good quality local tapas, but with prices, in my opinion, high, perhaps on average with those of the city. Glass of wine + papas bravas tapas + tapa de queso + creme brulee = €23.60 and we are talking about tapas, therefore portions to accompany a drink. Cuisine for celiacs not guaranteed against contamination as, as reported by the waiter, very small.
Chain gastronomic space with modern atmosphere, design full of nature. It is ideal for sharing healthy and sustainable foods, 🥗 varied and innovative salads, fruit juices and the best: its proposals in dishes personalized to your needs and/or preferences. Fresh and seasonal foods. Follow the gastronomic concept
"Real food" no sugar, no additives and 100% real food without preservatives that's why I recommend it.
Ideal for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free diets.
There are several in different parts of the City of Barcelona and within some shopping centers.
It's gluten-free, but the taste leaves a lot to be desired. It took the waiter 10 minutes to bring us a water and 40 minutes to bring us our food, even though the place was practically empty. Six mussels for a 2-piece paella.
If you are gluten intolerant, prepare to eat like a budgie. They tell you that they can make your coca gluten-free and what you see in the photo is the supposed coca. In quantity it was half a coca with gluten. They would have to come about 2 more loaves to equal the quantity. It is a mini sandwich bread, opened in half and I didn't even want to know if they charged me an extra for being gluten-free because I returned the plate. They told me that I could order another dish but that the burgers were with that same bread. They have not given me any alternative to putting more or another type of bread so I have not ordered anything, because the quantities are also terrible and they do not have a gluten-free variety other than that bread and those ridiculous quantities. We were a group of 20 people and everyone was still hungry, even ordering several dishes and repeating them. In short, not to return.
The sangria (white and red) is FANTASTIC! Great little bar, our waiter Marc was wonderful and very accommodating. We were thrilled to find gluten and dairy free options on the menu, it’s usually hard to accommodate a large group with mixed dietaries. The square is lovely, and on a Friday it had a great buzz!
Above all, highlight the treatment of all workers. A 10 in everything but especially in dealing with children, it is appreciated to go to places where you do not leave with the feeling that the children are unnecessary... The service and attention are excellent and the food is very good, perhaps a bit high the prices. Something negative about the place is that we went on December 27 at night and it was cold, even though they offer you blankets to protect you from the cold... They have paellas and some other gluten-free things and that is also appreciated!
Good weekday lunch menu, with the option of choosing between 3 first courses and 3 second courses. Very good attention and the place is bright and very pleasant. I recommend it!
Gluten free options.
Every time we come here, we eat great! Plus, all the staff are very attentive and charming! We'll continue to come back for brunch every time! Super-friendly if you have celiac disease and/or gluten intolerance. They have many types of plant-based drinks! 100% recommended!
When we have the chance, we eat from both the set menu and the à la carte menu. We love it, and I couldn't say a dish we didn't like. We often go back for the nachos, octopus casserole, ribs, burgers, and, when available, artichokes with romesco sauce 👌👌.
For dessert, the cheesecake 🔝.
They have a #gluten-free menu; my celiac son loves going there 😊
They told us to give us some shots since we were the last ones, and then they tried to charge us, they gave us to understand that they were courtesy of the house and they didn't do it at all, the manager was terrible, he also didn't know how to arrange the menu for celiacs and we left very unhappy, and that's despite the fact that we go every year for lunch or dinner,
We ate causa and octopus paella and botifarra. Both dishes were delicious. One of us was gluten intolerant and the service and options that Ahmed gave us were 10.
