Lots of choice as a ceoliac and had total confidence in the kitchen. The staff were incredibly helpful after being told that I also have a dairy allergy and checked ingredients of the bread to ensure there was no milk and then gave me an alternative when they found it did contain milk.
I would definitely recommend the tuna salad with roast potatoes instead of chips (chips were cooked in the same fryer and mozzarella sticks)
We eat well. The pizza is light and digestible, with thin and crunchy dough. The gluten-free pizza and the sliced beef are also good.
The staff is helpful and kind.
Very good place, good price and attention. The letter is in Italian and English.
As a tourist with food intolerances, I had had a hard time choosing dishes in other places in Rome. Here the menu has information about the allergens in each food including gluten, milk, nuts, shellfish, others. Without a doubt an excellent experience!
We often went to this place. The last time I booked a table for six on Wednesday for the following Saturday making express reference to the fact that we wanted the room on the left. Not the one where you can hear the bathroom drain. We would have changed the date in case. The very rude person on the phone closed confirming the reservation. We show up and that was exactly the table. To my report they responded that there was no note regarding my request and that that was the best table in the place. Rude is an understatement. Empty restaurant, the reservation was for 7.30pm, and there was no way to change the tables. We left and ate at another place. I would like to point out the change in management which has caused courtesy and customer care to collapse dramatically. Furthermore, the last time my celiac husband was brought a beer with gluten. We noticed it ourselves at the table by reading the label and we didn't make a scene out of respect for the waiter. It can happen although it is very serious. Never again! Ps: if that was the best table in the restaurant and leaving was madness, according to them, why so much reluctance to change it for another?!? You could have made other customers happy!
Very tasty food, friendly service, and hardly any waiting time. Many pasta dishes were also available gluten-free. A large selection of vegetarian and "regular" dishes. We really enjoyed it.
I ate here three times in the one week and had no issues with food , our server was very knowledgeable about gluten free food
The staff were really friendly especially Julia , she is so kind and lovely , great sales woman
Food was absolutely delicious every time.
Bad experience. The website says you can also eat gluten-free sandwiches, but once we entered, we were told that, yes, there is gluten-free food, but there is contamination. So I ask myself: "Who are you feeding this "contaminated" gluten-free food to?" Obviously we left. Leon made a better impression because we were shown the foods that were definitely NOT contaminated because they were packaged in a way that they could be safely reheated.
I've never been to a Roadhouse before, but I don't think I'll be back.
First they make me eat tortillas and then they tell me that without gluten I could choose between a steak or a Swiss, everything else is not suitable.
Only after insistence and checking the allergen list, I managed to eat the strips, with arugula so wilted that it looked like it was cooked.
Definitely not recommended.
Food really really fine and delicate.
Service very Friendly and open also to prepare some Gluten free dishes.
Fish very Fresh, perfect cooked 🫶
I will recommend, if coming before 8:30 the best, so no waiting time.
We didn't stay in the hotel but visited for dinner on our last night, lovely restaurant with gluten free options of pizza, pasta although they don't advertise it, fantastic steaks,
Very nice and warm hosts, especially towards our daughter/children. We felt very comfortable every evening and the food was great. Eating gluten-free wasn't a problem either.
Thank you so much, it made our vacation even better. Thanks to Salah and team.
The food tasted great but they told us they did not have gluten free options. They took away the plates once my boyfriend stopped eating. Whilst I still had food in my hand! I was dipping bread in my leftover sauce and thought that was very rude.
We booked two days in advance in person and when we arrived, they told us we didn't have a reservation, but they were very kind and found us a table.
The dining room was small, dense and noisy.
When they gave us a note, of my two dishes, they made a mistake with the first one, but they very kindly offered to change it, but I said no because we had been waiting for 55 minutes and I was hungry.
For coeliacs there are options, but as it says in the letter, they do not guarantee that there is no cross-contamination.
Value for money, correct.
