Lovely little restaurant serving quality gluten free south American dishes. Service is always friendly and food always looks amazing when brought to the table. The banana cake is fantastic. You can tell the chef and waiting staff have pride in their service.

We enjoyed the meal we had here. Loved the atmosphere. The service was great. We all had different meals, no complaints. The gluten-free menu has plenty of choice. Gf confit duck leg cassoulet was delicious with extra twice roasted potatoes. For dessert lemon posset with white chocolate served in a glass looked and tasted delicious. We all had cocktails, which if you go early, you can have a couple for a very reasonable price.

I love this place the menu is great and they have a really big selection of gluten free foods. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is amazing . Just a few criticisms, the service at the bar is a bit slow as the only 1 bar staff that was on at the time was trying to serve queuing customers plus prepare drinks for orders placed at the table.. The staff would drop food off food ay your table then walk away empty handed when it was obvious the table needed clearing. from previous customers, However it’s not put me off as it’s an amazing place that just needs a few tweets 👌.

Great vegan options. Also catered for non gluten diet. Great food, excellent customer service, lovely cafe. It would be amazing if there's baby change facilities, however that didn't impact my experience with FINT. 5 stars 👍

Visited Fat Hippo on 15/05/24 for a Special Birthday Celebration From the moment we stepped into Fat Hippo, the atmosphere was perfect.The cleanliness of the restaurant was also impeccable. My food journey began with the cheese balls starter, a blend of beautiful cheese and the most tasty sauce, creating a memorable beginning to our meal. The main course, the signature Fat Hippo burger, was nothing short of a masterpiece. It was gigantic, not just in size but in flavor. The quality of the ingredients shone through, earning a solid 10/10 from all of us at the table. It was very satisfying and filling, The staff at Fat Hippo deserve a special mention for their friendly and helpful demeanor.. The availability of a gluten-free menu is a thoughtful touch that speaks volumes about the restaurant’s commitment to inclusivity. In terms of food quality, Fat Hippo stands out. The taste and presentation of each dish was exceptional and the variety offered something for everyone. While the portion sizes were generous, they did not compromise on quality. The prices for a group of 4 were reasonable. I was very happy with the bill. Well worth it. Would I recommend Fat Hippo? Absolutely, Fat Hippo delivers an experience that is both satisfying and memorable. I am looking forward to our next visit.

We came here last Wednesday and enjoyed the deal - 2 persons eat 2 courses for £30 and share a bottle of wine for £10. We are both Coeliacs so we're delighted that most of the options on this menu were gluten free or could be easily adapted so that they were. There was a good buzz about the place and the staff as always were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much, we're going there tonight!.
