From appetizers to combos, you will not be disappointed. Dine in or take out. Hearty meals with delicious side dishes and dinners served with corn bread. There is also a gluten free corn muffin for those who are conscientious of this type of intake. Great Senior meal choices, kids menu and great choices for the serious BBQ lover. Staff is very attentive and friendly.
From food, to service (Andrew), to management (Ricardo), they run this place like it is some fancy restaurant like Spago and that is beyond impressive. My mom and I went here on a lark and it made our day! To have an experience where you want for nothing, your drinks are always refilled promptly, and the food tastes amazing, you can't be disappointed.
Then, when your server (Andrew) hears you off-handedly mention that you can't eat gluten and he realizes you ordered something with gluten in it, he stops what he is doing and has it remade so you can eat, you're going to feel like a VIP.
TLDR - When you come here, ask for Andrew. He was BEYOND conscientious, kind, went above and beyond, and could willingly accommodate some dietary restrictions. If I had a restaurant I would actually woo him away from here. Good service is rare these days, and they have it in spades here!
It was my turn to pick where my girlfriend and I went for date night and because she can’t have gluten I searched gluten free and saw this place. I was so impressed with how they presented themselves online I took her here. We stayed downstairs and the vibe there was just wonderful and perfect. Our servers name was Randy who was by far the best server I have ever had in my life. We was super nice, really attentive and excellent all around. Now let’s talk about this food, my girlfriend and I ordered the wagyu beef meatballs For the appetizer and the entrées were the filet mignon and the steak fries. The food was cooked to absolute perfection. I we are eating we both were already talking about what we were going to have the next time we come here. Definitely the best of the best eating experience of my entire existence.
Usually, this place is packed. And for good reason. Since my wife and I can't eat gluten or dairy and I get off work late sometimes, this place is our go-to. Order when I leave work, pick up, and go. Staff is quick, kind, and sure to check the order belongs to you. Love that, love them.
I have celiac and the menu is somewhat labeled with gluten free options, however the server was unsure about if their chips were fried in a shared fryer. I asked him to check with the kitchen and he didn’t - kept saying “should be fine to eat”. Regardless the meal I got was delicious.
Definitely the best place to eat in Long Beach. Unmatched service, many food options, including gluten-free, delicious, with little waiting time and ideal to attend with family and friends.
This is a nice local spot that if family friendy, with a nice older arcade area for kids to play. Their pizza is good, with lots of options. They have gluten free options as well. The service is not traditional as you order at the register and they bring it to the table, but still great for a family style pizza place. The owners are wonderful, talkative, and kind.
Great little restaurant. Laid back style, polished service, and great food. Appreciate that the gluten free pizza dough is higher quality than most restaurants.
I love Outback because they are so careful with gluten-free food for me with celiac disease. They are also consistantly very good at all their locations. When traveling to conferences I look for Outback.
This time someone made a mistake and added bread to my gluten-free meal. They were great and offered to remake the meal or credit me. Unfortunately I had gotten my food to go and had not checked. Thank you for making it good. I will see you at some location soon.
Waitress was kind and wonderful, the Gluten Free crust was crispy and delicious. Best GF pepperoni pizza I’ve had in ages. The ranch was dope, if you’re into that sort of thing ;)

I have been coming to this place for quite sometime. As someone with Celiac I was excited to see the gluten free options, especially the fries! After eating there multiple times and asking about the fries being in a separate frier we were told they were. It wasn’t until the last time that our server informed me that they cannot guarantee the fries weren’t fried with the pita, even though they have 2 friers! She did check and was told that on that day they hadn’t fried pitas in the same frier. Sadly we went again hoping for the same outcome, but that was not the case. Evidently both friers had fried the pitas. Our server actually tried to charge us $10 for some cucumbers to have with our hummus, despite not getting the pita. It makes me super sad that we cannot go there safely and I won’t be able to bring friends and family there anymore.
*Edited to update. I so wanted to give them other chances after my last review, based on the owner’s response. However, just tonight our server informed us that my regular dish is NOT dairy free! The manager doesn’t even know, how can they expect their servers to be properly trained? He gaslit me by asking if I had a reaction before! It’s none of his business! Every reaction can vary and before they someone, PLEASE train your staff m!!!
Have had great meals here in the past, but super bummed about how simple, boring, and dry the burger is now on the new menu!
Granted I always order it gluten and dairy free, but the older burger had sauces and fixings which still made it mouthwatering without the cheese. Now, not so much.
Not sure how common this complaint is given the dietary modifications, but it would be amazing to get a slightly more exciting and tasty burger back on the menu.

I have a gluten allergy, and it can get challenging to find a pizza crust that isn't weird and soggy. LW Pizza did not disappoint. I ordered a cheese pizza w gluten-free crust, it was amazing, and they'll deliver to you at the bar across the way. The cheesecake is basic, but if you need a slice in a pinch, there ya go. Yaaay us!!!
Flew in from out of state and staying at the Hilton down the street. Wanted to get a local feel and good food. This place hit all the buttons.
Highly recommend.
Gluten free options as well!
Excellent all around - in my personal experience, the personal pizza was reasonably sized - don't understand the other reviews complaining. Pasta was gluten free, appreciated much. All was amazing, nice subtle heat. Will visit again.
Their sushi is good and they do accommodate people with Celiac. The wait was knowledgeable and helped me to get what I want. I hope they have a dedicated gluten free menu! Please take care and make sure plates are gluten free for people with Celiac!
Went for lunch on a Saturday. Was to be 30 min wait to be seated but no wait to sit in the bar area which worked out great. Gluten free menu showed most of th emeats are gluten free as are most of the sides. I had a duel rib combo with fries. All tasted fantastic.
Pretty kick A..spot, I loved the pizza, lots of selections even has Gluten free pizza for the celiacs, huge selections of bottled soda and huge variety of beers along with beers on tap and seltzer. The decor was pretty rad, they even have old school video games. Gets packed so get there early, parking can be difficult we parker down the street in paid parking structure. We will be back.
-I have a serious problem with gluten and unfortunately was served regular pasta noodles by the MANAGER.
-We were charged gratuity with a party of 7 when the menu states gratuity is applied to parties of 8 🙄
-No refills
-Kids never got the drinks that were supposed to come with their kids meals.
-Rude hostess
-Short staffed
-They put a layer of chips on the bottom of the calamari appetizer to make it look like a larger portion...so weird!
Rance's Chicago Pizza is a recommendation to me from a few weeks ago. During my experience, customer service is good especially for a seemingly somewhat busy night. The eatery offers a variety of seating options; outdoor and indoor (high, low, hard, and soft cushion) seating. There are televisions. I order the Gluten Free Vegan Small Thin Crust w/ Mushrooms and Garlic splitting the pie though joining in the middle. The meal is so filling and really tasty, warm. The slices don't taste anywhere near as good to me in the morning. Yet, the flavors linger, whether fresh out of the oven or hours later, so much; the aftertaste is amazing and consistent.
I really would love to give a better rating, because the staff and waiters were amazing! They were very attentive, understood the menu and gave suggestions specific to our dietary needs (gluten free).
The food was 1- expensive for what we got! 4 tiny lamb chops, rice and veggies $38! Six pieces of beef total on 2 tiny kabobs $23 with rice and veggies.
2nd- the food was BLAND! Not enough salt, seasoning, or herbs. I’m not sure if there was any seasoning added to flavor the food. Not on the veggies either- frozen veggies heated up, that is all! The best thing on the meal was- the rice! How does the cheapest part of the meal score so high!? It had flavor and seasoning!!!
It was a huge disappointment.
We were so happy to know that they have a vegan and gluten free menu. The lettuce wrap vegan burger was delicious. We added mushrooms and guacamole 🥑:) too bad the breaded zucchini isn't gluten free;(
This was such a fun happy caring dining experience. The interior designer has impeccable taste in decor! Every staff encounter was above and beyond courteous and the pad see ew and pad Thai were out of this world (hats off to the chef)! The Thai tea was perfect too just like everything else. Ty for accommodating my gluten diet sensitivity, we highly recommend this place!!!
