Enjoyed an excellent lunch at The Alma Boathouse Restaurant on June 3rd. Lucky for me, they have a separate gluten-free menu (much appreciated). I had the lobster roll (which was served on a GF biscuit) and coleslaw. My husband had the fried clams and coleslaw and my daughter had a salad and a bowl of clam chowder (the best chowder that she's ever had). All were delicious and the soft drinks were good. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. Will definitely be back the next time that we visit Alma.

Our server Brooke was amazing! Very knowledgeable of the menu and gluten free options, I have Celiacs Disease and She took it very seriously which I always appreciate. She accommodated very well for our 10 month old, was super nice and even recommended some fun stuff to do / places to go while we were vacationing in Moncton. Tiara was an exceptional waitress ! If I could choose the person that serves me whenever I come here I’d choose her every. Single. Time. My spouse and I have very very recently been diagnosed with celiac disease so our favourite restaurants can be questionable whether or not we can still dine with them. The amazing kitchen party like live music was what made the night! The service was wonderful our server was knowledgeable and very charismatic! The food was really great for everyone else at the table. The salad for me was the highlight for me. The Rueben I ordered was served on a soggy not so yummy GF bun. I know I am limited but I was disappointed with the bun it ruined the sandwich for me. Though I must say I wasn’t sick so cross contamination skills in the kitchen are on point! Everyone else loved their meals so overall an amazing place to eat and hangout but if you’re celiac it’s not the best place to fill up on food.

Sadly it is not safe for anyone with celiac.
They offer a lot of options but use all the same grills and toaster for regular foods so it would be cross contamination city. The wonderful lady there warned me when I ordered and in the end there where no food options for me 😞 so we left. It happens.
But if you do not have food allergies please go eat there for me. They have a great selection of sandwiches, wraps and more and lots of baked goods and the coffee smelled divine.
Its got a great vibe, cool seating and just a very nice place,and the staff was really wonderful and I am so grateful for the honesty and knowledge about thier menu.

I've been there a number of times and secured their separate room upstairs for retirement dinners.
