Perfect place for a first date, a good catch up with friends, and I’ve even had a couple of business meetings at this location. The restaurant is massive. I’ve had wings at the bar, patio drinks, and full parties in the back corner. The fact that there are so many options, including vegetarian and gluten-free is amazing. There’s a discount card to collect points, you can take beers to go home with you. There’s even a root beer for kids to enjoy as well. I can’t say enough good things about beer town. It’s the place that everyone enjoys. Brunch is a must have!!
This bakery/ cafe is 100% gluten free and dairy free! They have all kinds of sandwich and lunch options as well as delicious and fresh pastries and baked goods. They also have a wide range of packaged products from other brands to help you stock up your pantry!!
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!!!! EXCEPTIONAL FOOD + OUTSTANDING SERVICE by our hostess Sainsha equals us returning for a second time during our mini vacay.
Between our two visits - We had the K-Saq to start … followed by Lebanese Cevapi, Here comes the Bride, Grilled Balkan Beef & Lamb Cevapi, Maros Special … For drinks - the kids had Iced Lattes & we loved the Tehran Underground cocktail which totally topped off our experience.
Sainsha was extremely attentive, and caring helping us with our questions as we had no idea how big the portion sizes would be. So listen to her when she tells you if it’s too much lol ! She was also great in helping baknce our palate which we appreciated greatly. Topping all of that off with the fact that I am Gluten intolerant so having a variety of dishes to choose from totally made my day.
Thank you Sainsha & Maro’s for being a memorable part of our trip this time … a 10/10 You guys know how to make everyone, especially visitors feel special … Keep doing what you’re doing!!
Blaze pizza has lots of great options for people with allergies or intolerances. Their Gluten Free Vegan crust is tasty and they have vegan cheese too! This is a friendly location and very clean.
Kareena took very care of us and she was very sensitive to our food habits - some of us were vegetarians and one friend gluten friendly - we enjoyed our special day - ty 😊
Loved the place for the food, the ambience and the service.
The service in particular is worth mentioning as the servers are very attentive and friendly.
The food prices are good for the quantities served. We ordered the fish and chips and the gluten free steak burger along with a raspberry no-jito drink. Everything tasted good.
Romaine was a friendly amazing server & super aware of my grandmother and uncles gluten allergy, offering alternative options & made us aware that my dessert had gluten in it so they didn’t try it.
Everything on the menu can be gluten free!
I am happy to hear that when I entered the store. They also helped me to customize the sauce to be dairy free.
I ordered the beef burger with the flavor "son of the beach" and chips.
Terrible experience here. Unfortunately the server did not ask me what bread I wanted my avocado lox on or how I want my eggs.. they said it cones standard. To my knowledge e server should always ask these things. It's common courtesy. So my order came on multigrain toast even though I am sensitive to gluten I ate one and packed up the other. I didn't say anything cause they were busy. When I mentioned to server after a manager came to my table and asked me what the problem is. I mentioned to him that I prefer gluten free bread but the server too the order so fast I did not get a chance to tell her. He remade the order but sadly when I received it and checked later in my car it was not same order. It had avocado with egg on gluten free toast but had added cheese no salmon or capers. Sadly I am sensitive to gluten an could not eat it. On top of that my other half order I left at the restaurant because I thought he remade same order. I am not impressed with this location at all. I have been to pure and simple many times and nevr experience d this kind of service before. I go there specifically because of my sensitivities. If I wanted to eat gluten I could have went to McDonald's or something and paid 4th of the price.
I shared dinner with seven of my sorority sisters this evening. We had a little area to ourselves with our waitress or server Robin. Everything about the evening was perfect, including Robin. She anticipated our needs for drinks and for take out boxes and we did not have to wait for our appetizers with the meals coming shortly thereafter. The timing for the entire meal was just perfect. I also have celiac disease with tree nut and shell fish allergies. Both Robin and the Head Chef made sure I was accommodated and I had no issues. I ordered the pork loin dinner and it was moist and tender. It was a large meal for me to finish so I now have a second meal to enjoy at home. A big thank you to Robin and Paradiso for a wonderful pre-Christmas celebration. We were also given a gift certificate to use on our next visit and I will be bringing my hubby back to enjoy this special place.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was nice, creating a cozy ambiance on the heated patio. However, the service and food quality were disappointing. We arrived as a group of four at 8:15 on a Monday and were seated within 5 minutes. I decided to try the all-you-can-eat tacos, while my friends ordered various entrees. Our fifth member joined us around 9:00, at which point only my first order of two tiny tacos had arrived, while the rest of us had been waiting for almost 45 minutes with just drinks, chips, and guacamole.
The slow service caused confusion when our late-arriving friend saw that I had finished my tacos and thought we had all eaten. For the next 10 minutes, we tried to explain that no one had received their food except for me cause he didn’t believe the service was that slow! Eventually, I got my second round of tacos, and everyone except one person received their entrees. Unfortunately, the missing entree belonged to one of us who had arrived at 8:15. Time passed and everyone was eating their food but still we had one entree missing, at this point the wait was so long that the friend with the missing entree chose to cancel it. The server apologized and agreed to cancel the order.
We had specific dietary requests at our table: one person is gluten-free (no problem, as the tortillas are corn); one dislikes tomatoes (no pico); one doesn't like cilantro; and one is lactose intolerant (no crema). Despite these requests, the kitchen made several mistakes. My tacos arrived with cilantro, which I asked to be fixed. They returned with cilantro simply picked off, which was still visible and unappetizing to me. The gluten-free guest, who also does not drink alcohol, received a mango margarita instead of the non-alcoholic mango drink he ordered (they removed this from the bill). The guest who dislikes tomatoes received carne asada tacos with no pico and avocado on the side, which was not requested like that but wasn't a major issue. Lastly, the lactose-intolerant guest received a bowl with no crema or cheese, but the pico de gallo was forgotten, leaving him with an unappealing and dry dish of rice, steak, avocado, and greens that he barely touched.
After waiting for what felt like an unreasonable amount of time and with one friend’s meal still missing, the lactose-intolerant guest and his girlfriend, (the one who had cancelled her entree), decided to leave and get McDonald’s from around the corner. This was particularly disappointing since we had not all been together in over a year and a half and had hoped for a nice, enjoyable dinner. To make matters worse, we were charged for the canceled entree. We only found out after paying ! Overall, the experience was frustrating and marred what should have been a joyful reunion.
Delicious fresh food, timely service and everything was exceptionally cooked. The bok choy and the ginger crispy chicken are phenomenal. We ordered the pancakes and the rice cakes for dessert. I love how many Gluten Free options there are.
Nice outdoor patio, even though it's in a strip mall. Above average food. Expensive drinks. Rated three stars because I'm gluten-free and I ordered a gluten-free pizza and I was sick a couple of hours after leaving. Management sent me a very standard note saying oh well, we'll try to do better. Seems like they don't take gluten-free very seriously. When you spend $90 for lunch for two you expect better. If you're not gluten free, I highly recommend it.
They have very knowledgeable staff and delicious gluten free pasta. I’ve been many times and have never gotten sick and feel comfortable eating there. On top of that it’s delicious!
I'm gluten intolerant and I love how accomodating the menu is! The crepes are delicious, but I ordered the Oh La La and it was definitely way too sweet for me, maybe more of a shareable thing if you don't want a whole plate of sugar, but very tasty. Nelly was our waitress and she was lovely too. Would definitely come again, esp since it's hard to find gf restaurants and this one has so many options for us.
Fantastic meal for our date night. The restaurant was very busy but service was quick and our waiter was very attentive.
We enjoyed calamari, pasta, pizza, and gelato for dessert — all gluten free!
Looking forward to our next visit already.
Please be careful here if you have food allergies! I went for dinner last night and let staff know I have celiac disease. They assured my my meal was gluten free but there was definitely some wheat in it because I had a very strong reaction yesterday with a lingering headache today. Quite unfortunate!
Buca Di Bacco is our "go to" for special occasions. Love the cozy, rustic atmosphere, delicious food, great service and reasonable prices. I usually have the penne vodka - fantastico! But this time tried the Veal Satimbocca - perfecto. My wife loves the Penne Divaola cause she likes hot & spicy food (adds extra chili flakes provided). The big benefit for her is their amazing gluten free pasta, best we've tasted. We weren't clear about GF when we ordered and the non GF version was served. When we mentioned it, Olivia immediately apologized (even though it was not the waiter's fault), took it away and replaced it with the GF version. When the bill came, it was not even charged! I said that was not necessary and asked them to add it but she insisted it be complimentary. Wow! On top of that, since there are no dairy free desserts (which my wife requires), they brought her a bowl of fresh fruit - no charge! If anything is not quite right, Olivia will look after it. Shout out to our friendly and attentive waiter, Humza. Like they say on the Food Network... "You Gotta Eat Here"!
Wow. I’m a chicken sandwich aficionado. And let me tell you, this place exceeds expectations. Flavour profile was elite, the gluten free batter might be the best I’ve ever had. I hope the owner franchises this product / brand so that I can stumble upon it in more cities.
Today was my first time trying House of Wings and I ordered 3 pounds of wings for takeout. The young lady on the line was very patient with me and explained how the wings are gluten free and briefly described the flavours. I highly recommend the godfather flavour and we will be returning for sure!!!
We always do drive-through. It is the quintessential fast food burger joint. The burger can be ordered in a lettuce wrap to avoid gluten sensitive reactions without the usual up charge for GF buns.
Because of our food issues this has become our go to, but the food really is great.
I like how they can accommodate gluten-free food, but no gluten-free buns, and absolutely, there is cross contamination for Celiac people since I also have problems with that all the time.
Flavourful and fresh unique foods. This is my 2nd time back and it was equally amazing. They were able to accomodate gluten and dairy free. The portions are generous. A perfect place to catch up with friends and enjoy a meal
We asked for a private table and they gave us one away from the rest of the other customers, and were quiet and respectful when the waiters came to check in or serve our food.
I am gluten and dairy intolerant, and both were respected with the chef personally checking to make sure everything was to our tastes.
They altered the pasta I selected to fit my dietary restrictions while also taking care to make sure it still tasted absolutely delicious. My partner's pizza was divine. Nothing to complain about.
Everything was perfect. Thank you for a great experience
We stopped by for a cuppa and the owners very kindly gave us complimentary slices of their gluten free almond cake. It was lovely! The chai latte, hot chocolate and carrot cake we ordered were very tasty!
Server was 5 stars. Bartender basically said she didn't want to serve us.
Food is gross. Gluten free pasta is like mushy cardboard. Hardly any chicken in my pasta.
Meatballs were best part of meal. Ceasar Salad tasted like vinegar. The purple lemonade was actually delicious.
I ordered a gluten free Margarita Pizza, and was disappointed after reading the reviews. The crust was disintegrating wherever the toppings were, the sauce was bland, and not a single basil leaf was on the Margarita pizza. I'm sure the regular pizzas are fine (the reviews seem universal) but avoid the gluten free pizzas.
For a neighbourhood spot the food is fresh and good. Hot and very flavourful. Easy takeout close to home. Will come back. I’m gluten free and dairy free so appreciated the options that let me eat within my dietary preferences.
The staff at Pilot Roasters go above and beyond to ensure their customers are satisfied. I have celiac disease and always feel safe getting my coffee made by them! A special shout out to Mar and Lu who always ensure my drink is not cross contaminated (also to the other staff members whose names I do not know).
Additionally, I’ve noticed that they are very inclusive in the language that they use when speaking about customers.
Their coffee is the best in Oakville!
I was really excited to try out this restaurant as I’ve heard great things about it (and we didn’t have to drive downtown).
We came here for an anniversary dinner and overall it was okay. The atmosphere was lovely with a modern space. We were greeted with some non-alcoholic champagne (I don’t drink) for the occasion which was nice. The menu was a little on the light side in terms of options. Since I have dietary restrictions, I went for the oysters and the halibut dish while my husband ordered the tartare and steak.
The halibut was really lacklustre and small compared to other equitable restaurants I’ve been to. It was a bit overcooked (my husband tried and he even said it was on the dry side and he’s not really all that into food). It also didn’t have the depth of flavour that I was expecting. The service was great to begin with but got slow once it was busy. There were also no gluten and/or dairy free desserts, which was really disappointing (since they emailed to ask if I had any).
The steak, according to my husband, was good but I can’t speak to it. He enjoyed it though but was still a bit hungry after dinner.
All in all, it was good night out but I’m not sure if we will visit again, especially for the price point.
Lucas was our server and was absolutely fantastic and provided phenomenal service. He was incredibly accommodating and helpful concerning gluten sensitivity. It was our first time visiting and we will definitely be coming again ⭐️
Ursula was great! We’ve had her a couple times now: with one of us having a gluten allergy she made sure everything was safe to eat. Food was very good! Overall a great experience! Definitely ask for her if you can.

Very sad because my family has been coming to this hero burger for a while as they do gluten free for celiac, but my boyfriend got food poisoning from here a few days ago and it has not been good :(
