"I was incredibly impressed with Pizzeria Sunrise! Despite it being a Saturday night at 8:30pm, a typically chaotic time, the service was impeccable and the dishes arrived surprisingly quickly.
The quality of the raw materials is evident in every bite: the ingredients are fresh and of the highest standard, making each pizza an exceptional dining experience.
But what really makes Pizzeria Sunrise unique is its incredible inclusivity. I have rarely seen such attention paid to dietary requirements: the menu offers specific options for celiacs and lactose intolerants. The gluten-free and lactose-free pizzas are true works of art, expertly prepared without any compromise on taste or texture. It's fantastic to find a place that puts so much effort into ensuring that everyone can enjoy delicious pizza.
I would highly recommend Pizzeria Sunrise to anyone looking for not only great pizza, but also a thoughtful and inclusive dining experience.
We ate an excellent gluten-free and lactose-free pizza, the flavor of the tomato and mozzarella was excellent at a reasonable price. We were well received, the place is clean, the oven is separate. They are very prepared for gluten-free
A bad (expensive) figure
I'll start by saying that the quality of the food was good - except for the calamari, which I suspect were squid and in any case a bit hard/rubbery - but overall it was a disappointing evening, especially having ten guests who I cared about a lot.
I chose this restaurant because on the website it was presented as exclusive, attentive to vegan and celiac needs, with a rich and interesting menu. Unfortunately, the reality was very different:
• The menu on the website did not correspond to what was actually available in the room.
• The only vegetarian/vegan second course indicated was not available because it was "out of season" - but then why keep it on the menu?
• The service was slow (almost half an hour to take the order, an hour to eat), disorganized (starters and second courses served together; one diner was left without a dish for a long time) and often distracted (errors in the orders, little attention to the tables).
I understand that the ambition is to offer an elegant and refined experience, but elegance and professionalism are not built only with a beautiful venue or a high bill. They require consistency, attention to detail and, why not, even a little humility.
An evening that should have been special turned into a bad impression. A real shame.
All you can eat formula, includes appetizer of fried food and pizzas. Possibility of having everything gluten-free with an extra charge
. Friendly staff
Gluten-free pizza, Neapolitan! Doc, really... I haven't smelled the scent of quality tomato for a long time. The dough worthy of a pizza. Not too soft but rather crispy and light. Compliments to the pizza chef.
Nice, clean place, friendly and helpful staff. The products are of excellent quality, all prepared with care. The choice of pizzas and beers is vast. They have gluten-free products and everything is delicious. The prices are right. Super recommended..
Beautiful evening and beautiful place... I enjoyed some exceptional potato chips and an excellent gluten and lactose free pizza... the menu is very varied because it also includes sandwiches, salads, a well-stocked wine list and top craft beers! Professionalism and kindness on the part of all the staff.. Thanks to Giulia and Roberta who served my table with care and courtesy! Congratulations 👍
Gluten Free Review. #Celiac #GlutenFree #GlutenFree
I had the opportunity to try this pizzeria twice within a year of each other, always taking a margherita so as not to distort my evaluation.
Unfortunately, the opinion has not changed, they will also be ok with "normal" pizza, but without a shadow of a doubt if there is someone in the group who eats gluten-free, this is really the last resort to eat. In my opinion it is among the last in the ranking of pizzerias offering Gluten Free in Caserta.
"Non-contamination" is not guaranteed.
Tip 1: By spamming on the Naples celiacs Facebook group you are giving yourself a huge "shot in the foot", because celiacs tend to review and, as can be seen from your review history, you are inexorably lowering the rating of the restaurant.
Tip 2: If you want to focus on the celiac market, take a few months to learn the technique, because right now you only leave a negative impression when you come there.
We are disappointed, I don't think we will return
A pizza at the table and a gluten-free one that after having gone around the place was reheated and brought to the table telling us that it had to be done again... it was so hard that an electric saw was needed to cut it... never again...
I'll start by saying that I've only eaten here a few times but I'm a person with a strong gluten intolerance and it's difficult for me to dine out, I have to be careful with everything... I had a good time at this pizzeria because they make gluten-free pizza, the only downside is that during the summer you can't book but you have to call to book the dough for the gluten-free pizza (it's a bit confusing).... Out of three times I've eaten here, twice I ate very well without any consequences and I had a great time... the last time I was very disappointed, we were told that on Saturdays they can't make gluten-free pizza anymore even if you call in advance but during the week they do... the pizza inside was very thin, there was a lot of tomato sauce, more than it should have been... I asked for a simple one: tomato and a drizzle of oil but they also added a few basil leaves which I have to avoid for other reasons... I only managed to eat two slices when suddenly I got very strong cramps in my stomach making me feel sick all night.... even an intolerant person has to be careful about what to eat don't feel bad, finally you find a pizzeria where you can eat peacefully but in this way very disappointed and personally I won't go back.... staff always available, kind and friendly, very nice place...
4 of us came on Saturday night for a 12-bite dinner specifically for the gluten-free sandwich but unfortunately it wasn't available!!
Despite the difficulty, Antonio, the guy in the room was super decisive, thoughtful and kind... he immediately cheered us up by advising us on excellent meat while also giving us all the explanations about the cut and type.
To pair with the meat he also recommended a perfect wine, a bottle of Dolcetto d'Alba, making us all agree on our tastes.
What can I say, we entered with a sulk and left with a smile, it's really rare to find someone who, despite the CHAOS of SATURDAY EVENING, is willing to take care of a table so as not to disappoint expectations.
We will definitely be back to try something else and let Antonio advise us!
I recommend to everyone!!

I stopped by this evening to take and taste gluten-free croissants and staples for the first time, as I recently discovered that I am celiac...expectations weren't high for gluten-free, but this place is absolutely to be missed...and I'm sorry to write this review because I've always eaten normal staples and croissants and it's exceptional...I ordered 3 croissants with Nutella and 2 empty staples, all gluten-free, to take back.
After 20 minutes of waiting they were delivered to me, asking several times if they were correct, when I got home I opened them and... I only found the three croissants of a bad consistency and with Nutella on top while they had jam inside, and I'm still trying to understand where the staples went... I don't recommend gluten-free.
We went to Tommy's for the first time.
Well, it's been a long time since I ate so well but above all with generous portions.
At the starter (about 10 courses), we were almost full, we moved on to the main courses (mixed fried and sliced meat with rocket and parmesan), very good.
What to add... simple 5⭐
P.s. also for celiac people.
Finally, after years of culinary dissatisfaction, I found a place where everything was almost perfect, from the courtesy of the staff to the excellent food, of quality, cooked and seasoned in an excellent manner, and above all of quantity, where now everywhere they make minimal portions, making them cost an arm and a leg. Congratulations also for the possibility of eating gluten-free. It's a shame you don't live in the area, but if I were to end up in Caserta again I would happily go back!
My favorite restaurant ever! Comfortable and familiar environment, kindness and smiles, extraordinary dishes! From the appetizers to the dessert everything is really delicious!!! Gluten free dishes are also available, what can I say... perfect!
All excellent... or rather “Formidable”!
The sandwiches are delicious, I recommend phenomenal with burgers, pistachio pesto, mortadella and croquettes, a real pleasure! Very large menu with omelettes and croissants of various flavours! The pizza is also excellent quality products! They even have gluten free!
I recommend this place
Truly positive experience, exceptional raw materials, preparation of top dishes, impeccable service, kind and ready to meet our every need, celiac lunch from starter to dessert, owners are very kind and exquisite people, 5 star experience well deserved, congratulations to you for your commitment, we had a great time and will return to you as soon as possible.
Elegant and welcoming place, with kind and prepared staff. The food is excellent, the menu is extensive and also offers gluten-free food.
The quality-price ratio is also excellent.
Excellent food accompanied by the courtesy and professionalism of the owners and all the staff. Attention to the customer and his requests even when it is necessary to improvise an off-menu for a celiac person. An enchanting garden and so much kindness to feel at home! We will see you again soon! Thanks for the beautiful evening.
We stopped before entering the highway, even though it was a little late, they were very kind to let us sit. Everything is excellent and of good quality, and also equipped with regards to gluten-free. We will certainly return again.
Went last night with my family. I reluctantly have to give 3 stars...our expectations were very high!
Clean and pleasant environment, bathrooms equipped with changing tables which are also clean... we ate outside.
Staff quite poor and slow. We went in at 8.45pm to be served the pizzas at 11pm... at first we thought it was because there were people, but shortly after we realized that two tables that arrived much later than us, were services and had already finished while we waited again and again despite the impatient requests of us asking a boy where the pizzas were...he didn't even give us an answer but shrugged his shoulders and left! The only really kind one was the boy with the pigtail and glasses (I don't remember his name) who apologetically brought us the pizzas and at the end also offered us the bitters. He was really courteous, but all this was of no avail because after all that waiting my aunt (who by the way was the birthday girl) received a raw pizza, (gluten-free pizza... and no, it wasn't white for that, I assure you it was raw!) Furthermore, for her there wasn't any type of appetizer suited to her needs... they only brought her two slices of raw because according to them it was only what they had (but they still don't have gluten-free products in the 2024?!) And so, on her birthday, the poor thing started watching us eating some appetizers and an appetizer.
Another flaw is the bread. It's the first time I've been to a pizzeria that doesn't have bread! And believe me I have been to many places where you can eat!
For the rest the other pizzas were good, but nothing special. I repeat, the expectations were very high and instead we left very disappointed.
In their favor I must say that, having understood the mistake, they also gave us a small courtesy discount. Although we preferred not to have it and be served better and on time! We thank you for your consideration.
Would I go back? I don't think so, if the service remains the same, I'm sure no... my 3 stars go to the really good appetizers, to the kind guy I mentioned earlier and to the place which is really nice anyway. For everything concerning the remaining part, no... I'm sorry, there is a lot to improve. Sometimes customers also prefer a product that is not at the top but a polite (asking a question to know how far along they are with the pizzas and having a waiter who shrugs and goes away is not very courteous!) and qualified staff... and unfortunately you sinned in this yesterday!
Place located in a splendid mountain setting, welcoming and warm staff... Well stocked for celiacs and gluten intolerant people (they even had gluten free beer)... Highly recommended
In the room, there is a homely atmosphere. The location is very convenient, easily reachable from the Royal Palace. I had lunch with my celiac son and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable, he was also able to enjoy the pasta with potatoes and provola!
The appetizers are tasty, the meatballs with sauce are good, it's a shame that I found one raw. The roast beef was a little tough. Overall it was a positive experience!
The place is very nice and characteristic, I would recommend it for events and birthdays, it offers gluten-free solutions only fried from appetizers to pizzas, I liked them but I would also have liked a choice of normal gluten-free pizzas. I will definitely go back to try other things.
It's the first time I've had a pizza here, even if it's gluten-free, and I have to say that even though I also brought it home as a takeaway, I found it to be a truly excellent pizza! A truly delicious flavour! I highly recommend! Courtesy even on the phone when I called to book it! I will definitely be back to try some more!
We had dinner at this place on a Saturday evening. Cozy place, and GREASE themed decor. We chose it for its Gluten Free cuisine and I can guarantee you that they put the right amount of dedication and attention to detail into it. Really good sandwich (as per attached photos) and friendly and helpful owner. I highly recommend.
