Very warm welcome. People of all ages were here, and it was a genuine space. I am a very picky eater, it was my first time trying this food which I usually don't do. I had gotten my driver's license next door and was hungry! I got the burrito with sausage. Super yummy! Would try again if I get the chance. They also had a small little window for baked goods, I think I'll try the cinnamon roll next time. They had veggie quiche & gluten free options in the bakery window as well! It was $11 give or take for my burrito!
Switchbacks is a cute coffee shop with a surprising amount of gluten free and dairy free options. They have gluten free bread for toast, gluten free granola, and other options. The staff seemed knowledgeable about cross contact and was happy to modify dishes if needed.
I ordered something to go and it felt like the kitchen might have been annoyed I asked for gluten free. I paid $14 for eggs splattered over two tiny pieces of GF bread with a sausage patty that I asked for it to be turkey sausage (it wasn’t) just thrown into the box and wasn’t even a sandwich. It looked like they just threw it in the box and were pissed about it. I’m honestly frustrated I paid so much for something ridiculous.
Fantastic little place. Food was amazing and service to match. The gluten free pizza is probably the best I have had. The Bunzy's are great. Super tasty, very unique, must have. The seltzers are very good. Don't forget a cookie.
Good neighbors is a hip and THE spot in Colorado Springs. The space is open and modern, and it’s a great place to people watch. Great place to come to meet someone for coffee or brunch. Also, perfect for families with a playground outside for kids to play on. The menu has many options for those who are gluten free.
