First time I’m downtown Ft. Myers and I ordered the gluten free cheese pizza and it did NOT disappoint! I imagined being gluten free it would taste mediocre boy was I wrong. If I could give 10stars I would. The waitress however was lackluster. She got my drink order wrong. I asked for Mezcal and she brought me a glass of Moscato. After the mixup she advised Mezcal is only served on certain days 🤔. I ordered an Old fashioned and it was garbage. I waited 40 minutes for my food and only saw her 3 times. Once to take my drink order, once to take my food order and then to bring the check. It was a Thursday night and the tables were pretty empty so it wasn’t due to the crowd. I still would go again for the amazing tasting pizza and stick with a glass of wine! 🍕
Would rate a 20/10
This restaurant had absolutely delicious food! We went 3 times while on our vacation because Salty Papas has the ABSOLUTE BEST customer service. I have never felt more safe as a celiac while dining. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and they go out of their way to make you feel safe about ordering fried foods. Amy and Stacy D were our servers and gave the BEST customer service. In today’s world customer service is few and far between but this place is DIALED IN!! I would recommended this to anyone—-food allergies or not! They make you feel like you’re at home!
Great food. Meatballs were so good.
Not a big selection of Gluten Free.
The atmosphere was perfect for 1 year anniversary. Wine selection amazing. Come early for their wine tasting.
Our kids are picky eaters and they absolutely loved the pizza here. We got gluten free pizza bases with vegan cheese and it was all lovely! The kids were chatting with the staff who were great with them and very accommodating. We loved the food and service and will definitely return any time we are in the Fort Myers area!
They have the most delicious house made gluten free biscuits!! I was so surprised and they also have GF pancakes and waffles!. It's beautiful and bright and the people are so friendly. I always enjoy my time there. Definitely order the GF biscuits even if yiu aren't gluten free!
I try to eat healthier and here I can enjoy pizza with no guilt. They even offer gluten free options .... other than salad. Really great pizza and sides.

Excellent experience here. I have Celiac disease and while they don’t have a designated gluten-free menu, they have gluten-free items marked on their regular menu. I had a cheeseburger on a gluten free bun with mashed potatoes and broccoli (wanted to avoid fries since they likely are in a shared fryer). It was a really good burger. My husband loved his burger too. Our kids were also happy with their meals. Very cool decor on the inside. There is limited street parking, but there is a parking ramp just around the block. Located in Downtown Fort Myers. Would love if they added gluten-free appetizers like a shrimp cocktail or something.
PF Chang's has some gluten free options that are tasty! Teelra, our waitress, was wonderful working with our special order and was very knowledgeable about allergens.
One of the only organic cafes in town — and they have baked gluten free vegan donuts and muffins too! I love their soups and homemade gluten free bread as well. They also have fresh juices, smoothies, wraps, salads, sandwiches, and more.
What a great gem to find ! Being a part timer in Florida this was a new to me restaurant. I haven't seen them in Indiana. Food was amazing...great surprises inside. Huge, clean salad bar, free ice cream which I could partake in but such a nice treat if you brought the family. My Shelley chick sandwich was delish as were my steamed vaggies. What a nice option for a low salt, gluten free option. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and a young man was constantly cleaning off tables. A def return to, quick lunch restaurant !
First time at the Fort Myers location. Great food and service. Kylie was so helpful explaining menu options, offered us tasting samples and made us feel so welcome accommodating me with gluten free options. We'll be back for sure!!! Linda & Brian B.
I agree with the other reviewers who felt this is one of the better Italian restaurants in the area. Had the House Favorite with Sausage which was excellent. I appreciate they offer Gluten Free pasta and pizza since that expands my options. Portions were big and prices very reasonable. Server checked on us often. Looking forward to going back.
Hidden gem, but worth the drive back by top golf. Kylie, Byan, and Kevin were very inviting and gave great service. The roast beef 3 way is a must try. THEY EVEN HAVE A GLUTEN FREE BUN!! Kids loved the mac and cheese bites and kids chicken tenders are big and juicy. Great value♡ quiet and clean. Soft serve Icecream was very a nice treat too!
When the gluten-free pizza hit the table, I felt like I’d been sucker-punched by good intentions gone wrong. The crust wasn’t just bad—it was a culinary crime scene. Dull brown, spongy, and so undercooked it could’ve doubled as a prop in a zombie flick, it sat there under a blanket of melted cheese and toppings like a secret the kitchen was desperate to hide. If it weren’t for that cheese, stringy and forgiving, you’d swear this thing never saw the inside of an oven. I wanted to love it, I really did. But this crust? It’s the kind of thing that makes you question why you left the house.
The food was fantastic. Possibly one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had. Our Ribeye and Prime Rib were cooked to perfection. The only thing that could have topped the food was the excellent service.
Matthew was attentive, he made sure I had a gluten free menu when I informed him of my allergy, and he was patient whilst I was ordering and answered all my questions.
Will be back 👌
Awesome spot, delicious pizza. Will definitely order again! The gluten free was a bit pricey ($17 or $18 for a 10”, compared to the other normal pizzas), but hey what can you do. I loved their red pizza sauce, so delicious! Only thing better would be if they can do keto/ pizza bowls or crustless pizza, then I bet I’d order weekly, lol! Definitely blew my carb count today!
Friendly people and great place to bring small kids to play while you enjoy a slice. Will certainly be getting take out from there again soon!
I am from out of town, and I had gluten free German cheesecake from here a year ago, and it was delicious. I still think about it and wish it was easily accessible to me now. Definitely worth a stop for their baked goods.
Great place to eat pizza if you’re in a hurry!!! They serve it within 5-10 minutes and it’s delicious. You can customize it. Gluten free options. Great customer service and lots of space, indoor and outdoor.
This was a lovely experience! Both the tea and the treats were delicious and well-curated and it was wonderful to be able to have my gluten-free family member there and have her be able to do all the courses with us.
I'm a fan! I'm gluten free and my girl is vegan and we ate like fat kids. The food is delicious and the portions are great. That sangarita drink of theirs is amazing.
Perfect place to take people for a great breakfast, also has gluten-free food, and an outside dining area. Great food, and don’t forget to get their million dollar bacon. Super place plus you can get a Mamosa! Great staff too.
Quick stop before catching a flight at the airport, this place is fast food at its finest! Friendly service, delicious Gluten Free sandwich option, and free ice cream cones! Highly recommend!
I recently visited Shrimp Shack, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. The servers were prompt, accurate, and incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. I was super excited to see their extensive gluten-free selection, which made my ordering a breeze. I ordered the shrimp scampi with mashed potatoes, both were absolutely delicious. The outdoor seating area had a lovely, laid-back vibe, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal after a long day. Overall, a great dining experience with excellent service and fantastic food! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone with gluten sensitivities/allergies.
We had the sweetest server tonight and the best slring sangria ever. Its always a pleasure! Mind you we are a couple where one is vegan and one is gluten free and we always eat so well here
I had a gluten free cheese burger and fries. I WISH we had a Culver's in NJ! This will be a must when I'm in the area again. Thank you Culver's for a great GG meal!
I enjoy that their menu offers multiple size, gluten-free pizzas. They are also very timely when placing takeout orders. I've never had to wait for my order, which I appreciate greatly.
Very nice...menu offers gf sign for gluten free entrees... the lady that answered phone wasn't real nice when i called ahead to check on gluten free, but THE STAFF WERE ALL GREAT at the restraunt♡...
Great place to go to eat at. Everything is just perfect about this restaurant, its food(which is more than likely gonna fill you up), its atmosphere, and its service(kudos Zachary), .If you have anybody that has lactose and gluten intolerants (like my son), they have pasta and probably more that you can eat.You just need to ask the waiter.Again ,this is just an over all awesome place to eat at. If you go there, you’ll definitely have a great time.

Feeding the Hangry and the Heroic
So there I was—lunchless, hungry, and dangerously close to turning into the kind of person who snaps at motivational work posters. Despite my well-documented aversion to unsolicited human interaction, I found myself at McGregor Pizza & Deli, where society and carbs collide in the best possible way.
Why? Because my operating dojo was teeming with surgical tech ninjas—dedicated, scrappy, potentially hormonal, and suspiciously eager to stay after hours for more practice. Or hazing. Depends on the lighting and legal definitions. I needed to feed them before their inner beasts turned on me, so I ordered seven assorted pizzas. Seven. Because apparently I enjoy lifting pizza boxes with a back that served three tours when there was an actual war.
Enter McGregor’s staff: fast, friendly, and blessedly unbothered by my general disdain for small talk. Not only did they whip up pizzas that could make a gluten-free monk reconsider their life choices, they also noticed my service-connected Marine Corps-certified spine and kindly carried the pies to my vehicle. Actual heroes in a world of people who still ask if I want to sign up for their rewards program, and I did.
And the pizza? Hot, cheesy, meaty, and appropriately sacrificial—each slice laid down its life to tame the dojo beasts. Flavors? Bold. Crust? The right balance of crunch and chew. Sauce? A righteous splash of tangy salvation.
Bottom line: McGregor Pizza & Deli is the unsung MVP of hunger emergencies and late-night practice sustenance. If you’re antisocial, hangry, heroic, or just in desperate need of seven pizzas and a little human decency—this is your spot.
Five stars. Would return. Preferably with fewer ninjas next time. Full-grown adults get expensive!
We must have arrived at the end of the rush, because there was just a five minute wait late Sunday morning. We had a pleasant table outside. The service was great. The coffee was okay. I love coffee that is rich and robust, and usually drink it black. This was a bit watery for me, and cream didn’t help much. My husband had a traditional breakfast (the 2-egg platter at $12.50) and I had the Avocado, Swiss, Bacon & Tomato Omelet for $13.50. No gluten free bread here, so I ordered the scone to go, which my husband later said was excellent. The omelette’s ingredients were generous, but the eggs not great; I will ask next time whether the eggs are poured rather than cracked. My husband liked the potatoes and eggs, the meat was meh. Overall I rate this restaurant OK: great service and pleasant seating was offset with not great coffee, no GF bread, uncertain omelette eggs, lackluster meat and prices a bit high given the quality.
My wife and I had two different lamb dishes and both were spectacular. They adjusted the spice level down to my wife's liking. Very happy to eat here. Many vegetarian and gluten free options as well.
Overall- the atmosphere is the best part, don't come here expecting great food. I would recommend it if you want to stop for a drink on a hot day. They do have a pool, with drink service. Our food was just ok, presentation is unremarkable. I had the fried Mahi fish tacos, which were worse than the fish tacos at home, in Wisconsin which was very disappointing. The waiter swapped the blackened tacos and the grouper tacos we ordered. When we tried confirming which was which, he agreed and yet was incorrect. My daughters chicken meal was overcooked. We also ordered a gluten free salad, which came with croutons on it. When my dad ordered his gluten free burger, it came on a bun. I would not recommend Boathouse for anyone with an allergy as they do not seem to know how to properly serve their guests with care and concern. We waited around a lot as well, for water and our bill. I had really been looking forward to the experience, go for the atmosphere and drinks! Go elsewhere for food.
