This was the second time we've been here and the food was excellent again!
Pictured are the bacon wrapped plantains, Denver omelet, and the roast beef sandwich. The plantains were a great balance for sweet and savory, Pat liked the dipping sauces, but I didn't need them. Pat liked his omelet and devoured it quickly. The pot roast was nice and tender with great flavor paired well with the slightly salty mayo. Not pictured is the banana fosters cheese cake, I didn't have enough self-control for that photo, sorry.
I do recommend this place in general, but especially for Gluten-free people, there are tons of options for everyone.
This is not your ordinary cafe. Quality drinks, plenty of options including gluten free. The homemade pop tart is a must, such a delicious treat. Will be back.
We have eaten here several times and have always enjoyed it. The food was great and it’s awesome that there are some gluten free options. Renee was our waitress this time and she was the best we’ve had! Incredibly friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!
Wife and I go here frequently for brunch dates. They make quality food consistently and the service is always pleasant and quick. They have an arrangement of specialty coffees that my wife loves and the plain drip coffee that I drink. They have a few gluten free options. Specifically gluten free bread for sandwiches and toast. Cost is more than a mom and pop style restaurant, but not overly priced. On top of that the portions and sandwiches are large.
I am OBSESSED with this place. The quality of the food is just so high. Everything tastes extraordinarily fresh. I originally tried this place because I wanted to support a local business - I had never had pupusas before. But they are amazing!!! And since the first time I’ve eaten here, I’ve tried other pupusas from other restaurants, and they all pale in comparison to La Bodega. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Bring your whole family!
I've heard good things from friends of mine for a while now, and finally decided to make the trip out to Buckhead to give them a shot. Upon walking in the door I was extremely pleased with the aesthetics of the space! Located on the lobby floor of one of the Alliance Center buildings (with complimentary valet!). We showed up on time for our reservation but asked if we could enjoy a round at the bar before we took our table, this was no problem. I had an old fashioned and it was what I expected to get from an establishment of this caliber, my date, enjoyed one of their signatures and said it was fantastic (it had tequila in it?). Cecelia and Anthony were sooo friendly! We took our table and were greeted by Kyler. His first question for us was to address any dietary restrictions we had, which was an amazing ice breaker for my partner (she has Celiacs disease) he knew exactly how to handle her concerns about gluten and cross contamination. Very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the menu (I would call it modern American with a bit of west coast inspiration). The food... wow! Tuna tartare for an app made with tamari (celiac safe)! I had the Duck entree with black rice and a coconut curry. Perfectly cooked and delicious. My date had their seared scallop dish and was extremely happy with her choice. We didn't save room for dessert but definitely will next time, as they do have some Gluten Free options. I think our table was touched by about 6 staff members, from other servers, the assistants, and the GM Mallory who was so gracious from start to finish. Even the chef thanked us on the way out! Overall, 6 out of 5! The ambiance from the decor to the music... the teamwork... the food... the drinks... we will be back! Soon!
Only place in the county that has halal food (as far as I’m aware of) and it’s always delicious. They also have gluten free pita bread. They used to serve baba ghanouj but I guess it wasn’t popular and they removed it from all locations which is so sad because theirs was so good.
We visited Altobeli’s tonight for the first time and it was amazing! I had the Chilean Sea Bass special and it was perfect, and my husband had the Chicken Parm and said it was some of the best he has ever had. I am gluten free and the staff was so great about letting me know what my options were. They even have a delicious gluten free chocolate cake! We loved our server, Madison, and we so enjoyed speaking with the owner, Casey. The service was top notch as was the food. We will be back!
One of my favorite restaurants in all of the Atlanta area! Wonderful service and authentic Spanish cuisine. The owner is very hands on and a delightful person to converse with. And the caveat for me, plenty of gluten free options!
