I wanted to surprise my mother with gf cupcakes on her birthday because she has celiac. I drove 45 minutes. The cupcakes looked amazing, but tasted not very good. The icing was hard and the cupcake was a sticky texture. Maybe they have other good things idk, but I won’t be trying this place again.😕
My friend & I visited this Restaurant for the first time & we thought that the food was amazing. The food was fresh, didn’t take long to arrive to our table & our Waiter Andrew was amazing! We both got the same dish which was the Gluten Free Fried Chicken which came with grits & green beans. Everything was delicious!
This place is my go-to for well over two years since I was diagnosed with celiac disease! They never gluten me and take very careful precautions with gluten-free meals, and half their menu is naturally gluten-free!!! it’s a dream come true.
I’d like to give a special kudos to Marcos, who is my regular server. I do even seen him out and about in Johns Creek and he recognizes me! If you have gluten specific needs, they take such good care of you. And there’s no substitutions to make the food taste different when it’s gluten-free, it’s just naturally like that! I can enjoy it with my whole family and I come here about two or three times per month. If I was rich, I’d be here every other day. The prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious, I can’t recommend it enough.
Great breakfast today! No wait, great service and wonderful options. Enjoyed the gluten free menu. Had the sweet Carolina skillet and subbed the Mozerella cheese for Jack cheddar, it was so good!
Our server Jackie was so sweet! The Gluten Free Flowerless chocolate cake she highly recommended was everything she said it would be.
It took having a second cake to say Wow this is incredible!😊
My 1st cake was cold,
Great breakfast spot. I had corned beef hash. The eggs were cooked perfectly. My wife said it’s the best gluten free pancake she’s ever had. We’ll be back.
Our waitress was very kind and accommodating, but only 3 stars because the main reason we choose this restaurant was for the gluten free pancakes/waffles. We ordered and 15 minutes later were told they were out of gluten free batter. Okay, that’s fine, I can be flexible. So I asked for gluten free toast. They were out of that too. At this point I just wanted to eat. I didn’t want to wait for a whole omelet to be made, so I just ordered a side of potatoes and shared my husbands omelet.
As a gluten free person who doesn’t get pancakes often I was very disappointed as an out of town guest because we could have picked another place that has gluten free.
We were seated immediately upon arrival for our reservation, which was a great start. Our server—Christi, I believe—was absolutely outstanding: attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food came out quickly and was packed with flavor.
There are plenty of gluten-free options, which we really appreciated. My girlfriend said the pesto was the best she’s ever had, and she raved about the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. The calamari came in a generous portion and was perfectly cooked.
To top it all off, we had a butterscotch crème brûlée that completely knocked it out of the park. An unforgettable meal from start to finish.
I’ve been wanting to try out Ted’s, for a long time! This restaurant is super vibey, even down to the old timey honky tonk music! LOVE IT!
I explained, to my waiter, that I do have a gluten allergy. One of my biggest issues, when visiting Georgia, is that most restaurants do not accommodate such dietary restrictions.
Not only, did the waiter reassure me that their kitchen has strict allergen protocols, but also, the female manager joined us, at our table, to answer any additional questions/concerns I may have had.
I felt super taken care of!
My meal was fantiastic!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nina V. was our waitress that greeted us with a warm smile. This young mature lady ensured we didn't have to wait for seating. She helped us understand some items on the menu and she was willing to ask the kitchen a couple of questions we had due to our gluten allergy and our preference for turkey sausage. The accumulation of the smallest things made us so happy, including being able to request seating on their outdoor patio with the extra large umbrella tables. My fiance didn't want to be in the sun, so it made the perfect compromise. We enjoyed a hot breakfast meal and reasonably price so we will be returning again!
This was our first time here and we will definitely be back! The service and the food were phenomenal! The gluten free pizza is incredible (this coming from someone who is very critical of gluten free food). Even our little one, who is picky, devoured his! All of it was delicious!
Just went here for a birthday dinner. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Loved our waitress. Tons of gluten free options. Wonderful drink menu. Ate the best pork chops we've ever had. Oh, and the banana pudding creme brulee. We had the cheese plates. Fried chicken. Fried green tomatoes. Everything was so good.
Cooked to order so it can take a minute but I think it's worth the wait. Still faster than a regular restaurant. My favorite is the Buffalo chicken wrap with cheese added, my wife loves the Gluten Free Chicken Tenders. Good place to people watch too.
Several weeks ago, my husband picked up dinner for us to go from the store located in downtown Alpharetta. We had the "CP GF Basil Pesto Cream Shrimp & Lobster GF Pasta for 2 (GF)" and a side of broccoli rabe. The food was so fresh, well prepared, perfect balance of flavors, and very satisfying. This is now one of my favorite dinners anywhere! I have a wheat/gluten allergy and appreciate when vendors provide GF food options. Looking forward to trying other things there. The meal is for 2 but we were able to get a few meals out of it. You cannot beat the price for such great quality as this.
If you are gluten free, this restaurant is amazing! We had the GF pizza and it was great and the GF pasta was still delicious with the bolognese sauce. Amazing meal! Great atmosphere, too.
The food is pretty good but the atmosphere is not cozy. Cold and industrial feeling . Music is to loud. My biggest problem is they no longer have gluten-free buns this is 2025!!!
OMG! This restaurant is the best. They take celiac/gluten free very seriously and take every measure to prevent cross contamination. They also have a front and back gluten free menu including dessert! They provide complimentary gluten free bread and butter which is amazing! (It doesn’t fall apart!) Our waitress was so knowledgeable and made me feel normal dining in a restaurant (which i haven’t felt in a while..). I had the flourless chocolate torte for dessert and it was delicious. 100% will be coming back here!
Place is really beautiful. My review is for Gluten Free. Which they do accommodate. They have decent GF bun, not great but fine, and good fries. Like everyone, they up charge for gluten-free, which is totally expected for actual gluten-free items.
But an additional up charge to use the gluten-free fryer, for the brussels sprouts? That is wild. I’m 15 years into a gluten allergy, and while I appreciate places that accommodate, Come on you are now nickel and diming us.
I think the server was fine, we had a lot of requests to remove cheese and other sauces from things which might’ve been too much for her. But I still believe she put in everything correctly and a bunch of stuff came out with the wrong dressing and cheese on it. Overall, a very good spot, I just wouldn’t bring children back here since their food has to be made perfectly
For sure, the first time ever in the world seeing an up charge to use a gluten-free accommodating fryer. This just can’t be inflation.
While the food was okay the service was horrendous. The waiter first came out with our drink orders telling us not to switch seats because thats how he keeps up with tabs. Normally not a big deal but then when ordering one of our party of 6 had a questions on sides as they were not readily listed. He then proceeded to huff and pick up a menu to show him the sides. One in our party has a severe gluten allergy and she asked several questions about the gluten free items. She the decided on a sandwich. When are food came out I had ordered the taverns benedict, my husband the regular benedict. We both received the same thing then the gluten free sandwich came out with out bread. They then recycled the eggs from the wrong order and added them to the correct order. The waiter then cane told us that he didn't know the sandwich gf sandwich did not come with bread but they had a sample that was dropped off she could try. She then asked for a manager because this is a life threatening allergy and she wanted to get someone knowledgeable about the menu and allergy. Well he came out and told her they don't have gf bread or buns of any kind and that loaf was someones personal gf bread. She ended up with a salad that they competed. While the food wasn't bad mine wasn't even slightly warm and the service was terrible.
This was my first time at the Cheesecake Factory, and I was not impressed. It didn’t take long to be seated, but after we were seated, it was a while before anyone came to take our order/drink order. Our waiter was the bartender and he had was too much to do to give anyone good service. (Not his fault) After we ordered our meal, it was 47 minutes before we received our food.
I ordered a gluten free four cheese pasta dish, and the pasta was cold when I got it. It was not good. It had some kind of marinara on it and in the center of the plate was a massive pile of what looked like ricotta- maybe? It was inedible. The pasta was way overcooked and with the massive amounts of toppings, the noodles turned into a pile of mush. My 5 year old did not get her grilled cheese and fries with the rest of the tables food. (There were 2 adults and one child). When her plate came out about 7-8 minutes later, she only got the sandwich, and no fries. We were told the fries had to cook. When we finally got the fries, they were not hot, so they were not just cooked.
I was impressed with how much work our waiter/bartender was able to do, but he just didn’t have time to come to the table to check on us.
The little one wanted dessert, so we reluctantly ordered.
The cheesecake was very good, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they had gluten free options.
We spent more than $70 for lunch for 2 adults and one child and the food was terrible.
The restrooms were filthy, no toilet paper, trash overflowing, and the sink area was a mess of wet paper towels, soap, water, and other trash.
I will NEVER eat a meal here again. However, I would stop in to get a slice of gluten free cheesecake and take it TO GO (because of the service and restrooms)
I absolutely love Intermezzo and visit 3 to 4 times a week! It’s truly my favorite place, especially since I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and a soy allergy — finding safe, delicious options means so much. My favorite salad is the beet salad, and the dressing is super amazing and yummy!
I just wanted to kindly suggest offering a soy-free option for the dressing. I recently found out it contains soy, and now I’m not able to have it, which has made me visit a little less. Please!! It would be incredible to have a soy-free alternative so I can keep enjoying my favorite salad all the time.
Plus, I have to say I love the servers and customer service here — they are absolutely amazing!!!
Thank you so much for considering!
Came in for the gluten free cookie ice cream sandwiches. They were incredible and I don't eat gluten free (wife has to). The chocolate sea salt was fantastic!!
Stopped in for a few beers to kill some time and they had a great selection.
We were 6 people for a birthday celebration. The food is top quality so the prices are warranted. We had 2 people at the table who eat gluten free due to Celiac Disease and they take that very seriously. Everything that they brought to the table they told us if we could eat it and if there was the potential for cross contamination in case we wanted to share. Our server Skylar was great. As busy as she was we never had to wait too long for her to come around to check on us. I would definitely go back.
My favorite place! I have celiac, and they really are wonderful for gluten free options. The food is amazing- sangrias on point. Very happy a atl gal can get some good food up here now!
Is this a joke? I paid $50 for this crap? What happened to the good gluten free Neapolitan pizza crust? I have been scammed, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It’s gone downhill, the frozen gf pizzas from Costco are 10X better than this cardboard.
Roman our waiter was fantastic. I am gluten free and he made sure everything was safe for me. The food was phenomenal. Highly recommended this restaurant.
First time visiting this place with my girlfriends for lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious!! I got the one of the gluten free wraps, tater tots and chai latte. The quality of the gluten free wrap was great!! We ate outside since my friend had a stroller and they also have heat lamps that the staff can assist you with if it’s chilly. Staff is very friendly and they have quick service as well. I can’t wait to come back!!
Adorable location and delicious bowl. I had tropical bowl with peanut butter and it was perfect! Their GF granola is really nice (you have to ask specifically that it be prepared with gluten free granola and they charge it as an add on if it’s GF even if the bowl already comes with granola).
They offer military discount.
Good, upscale, fresh bar food. Great drinks and staff. They do have items available that aren’t on the menu. They used to have risotto but I think they might have it back now. If so it’s supper good! They don’t cater to the Gluten Free lifestyle but there are some things on the menu you can eat. The kitchen and staff have always been very accommodating.
Love eating outside. Fish n chips amazing. My hamburger twice has been way undercooked - raw in the middle which is not medium well. Fries are delish. Both last visits they didn’t bring cutlery until after the food came. I also ordered gluten free burger no bun but it came on a bun. Not sure if we will be back.
This was my fifth visit.
I love TBB 122 because it is seed oil free restaurant and they use clean local ingredients.
It is beautiful restaurant that serves brunch, lunch, and dinner where it used to be house.
They offer valor coffee, cocktails and wine, pastries and freshly squeezed juices.
Parking might be restricted but they have lots of sitting inside and big patio as well.
I love TBBs seasonal bakery goods and you must try all of them.
(They also have gluten free options as well)
I have tried tuna sandwich, toasted chicken sandwich , avocado toast and Georgia mushrooms toast.
Each visit, staffs were attentive and friendly and when my roasted chicken sandwich was just too burnt, they fixed it immediately.
(Although they charged me so I had to ask for it)
I definitely recommend TBB burger & mushroom toast!
Don’t forget to add confit potatoes that are cooked in olive oil and salmoiglio sauce is amazing.
Food can be pricey but the amount of the food portion is large and I love healthy ingredients.
When I thought this place couldn’t get any better, they opened a new location right in the heart of Alpharetta! I’ve always been a fan of the Johns Creek spot, and now there’s even more reason to love it. Every dish here is crafted with so much love, creativity, and thoughtfulness. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality, with passion infused into every plate.
The staff makes the experience even better—special shout-out to our servers Di and Ashton. They were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The chef’s talent is evident, with years of experience reflected in every dish. This isn’t just a business—it’s her passion, and it shows.
Some of my favorites? The gluten-free pancakes are outstanding, and the breakfast tacos are a must-try. I’m also a huge fan of the tostada at the Johns Creek location—it’s worth the drive if you can swing it! And don’t even get me started on the turmeric tonic—it’s absolutely refreshing.
On top of the delicious food, the décor is stunning. You can see the care that went into every detail of the space. It’s thoughtfully curated, adding to the experience.
Just a heads-up: you will probably have to wait, but trust me—it’s worth every minute. If patience isn’t your strong suit, maybe save it for a day when you have time to relax. But if you do wait, you’ll be rewarded with one of the best meals around. Highly recommend!
Went here for the first time tonight and had an amazing experience. I had a salad and it was perfect, and my boyfriend had the pesto chicken and mushroom risotto and loved them both. Horia was our server and made us feel so taken care of. He was very attentive and had fantastic recommendations for gluten free food. He double-checked the chocolate mousse to make sure it was gluten free before we had to even think about asking. It was the best mousse I have ever eaten. I look forward to going back!
Great atmosphere with reasonable prices! They have accommodations on the menu for gluten free and everything is made from scratch because of the wonderful Chef Anna. This place is amazing from the fun drinks, to the impecable service, to the mouth watering food.
Our family enjoyed the brunch offerings at South Main Kitchen today! Our service was impeccable (Thank you Brooke!) Every item we chose was a hit! GET the brussel sprouts appetizer with the come-back sauce— you won’t be disappointed!! Fish and grits— BAMMMMM, chef’s kiss! The stone ground grits were the creamiest I’ve ever had and perfectly seasoned! The burger (oh Mylanta— the pimento cheese was divine!) was heavenly and even the kids plates were perfection! We are super appreciative of the effort to accommodate our son who is gluten free!
The crème de la crème was definitely the desserts! We sampled the trio of offerings to-go and it made the traveling home worth it ❤️❤️ We will definitely plan a stop in downtown Alpharetta for more of South Main Kitchen culinary delights!
