my boyfriend has celiac (which i noted in the order) and i ordered him dinner for his birthday. lexi, the wonderful person that works here, called to let me know that their gluten free fryer was down and she wanted me to be aware of this, as i ordered fries for him. after a brief convo (she was a hoot btw), we agreed that she would refund me for the fries, as we didn’t wanna risk giving my boyfriend explosive diraerra as a birthday gift (lol). well! when my boyfriend got to the restaurant, they told him that they scrubbed down the fryer and made sure he was able to have gluten free fries. when i called them back and requested that they charge my card an extra $10 for an additional tip, they were so nice and asked me to leave a review instead. thanks everyone ! (they also left this cute note on his fries)
The whole staff is amazing! I wanted to give a special shoutout to Tanya! She made sure my pizza was perfect, and I had one that was a Gluten allergy. She made sure gloves were changed and I got all fresh ingredients! (Even fresh utensils and pizza pan!) thank you!
Jason's is a fast food so why is it so good. For us it is a safe haven. We have to be careful about food, due to gluten issues (not a choice). We have found Jason's to be very aware and caring about food allergies. Additionally, we enjoy the food and the attitude of the staff. They seem to care and go beyond what you expect for service. The free ice cream doesn't hurt my decision.
Edit. 2 yrs later. Still no GF buns. At first NO GLUTEN FREE BUNS!! But then I talked to the Chef, David, and he was so wonderful. And said he was going to do his best to make it happen. I look forward to coming back. He also has corn tortillas so the tacos can accommodate gluten free people 🙂
Kayla was the best! Gave me advice on GF options! Quick service and a smile, can’t ask for more!
Always love the pizza at MM, gluten free crust is so crunchy and delicious! Beer selection is great, with local and craft beer..always something new to try!
We booked for Christmas Day thinking it would be a wonderful experience, however, it was by far some of the worst customer service we have ever received. At arrival for our reservation time we waiting 35 minutes to be seated walk-in’s who did not find time to make reservations were seated before us. Upon being seated I noticed there were flower petals all over our table (usually for special occasions), I thought this must be a Christmas thing. Once seated we got a waitress who did not happily greet us or ask how we were doing or even how our holidays had been. She took our order and when we let her know of my husband’s Celiac Disease it really went downhill. We asked to substitute two items due to the allergy. She came back and told us that since we wanted the “much more premium filet cut than usual” it would be $20 up charge. We called the manager over to discuss because I think she was confused with what we were asking for. Either way the manager, who was extremely rude came over and told us this filet was so much more expensive because it’s a special menu. Whatever. We didn’t end up getting the filet just based upon principle. Well about five minutes later the waiter for the adjoining table offered to sub out their items they merely disliked (no allergy) for the “premium filet” free of charge. At that point I was fuming. Clearly this waiter knew what he was doing and this would have happened had we not asked why they were getting special treatment. An hour after we were seated our waitress came back over to retake our order. At this point, nothing but water at our table. I was about to lose my mind. She said our order got cleared out when she was asking the manager about the steak. No apologies, nothing. While we are waiting we saw the same waitress and manager go into the room behind us while the family seated at the table got up and left. After finally getting our cheese 1.5 hours after being seated, not one single time did this waitress stop to ask how our food was or if we needed anything. Not once. We finally received our salad at hour 2 with the entree to follow 10 minutes later. Still nothing. Not even a water refill. Or an ask to refill the one glass of wine each that we ordered. At hour 3 we were just getting our chocolate. At this point I was so irritated I couldn’t even enjoy it. She brings our bill over and as I suspected they tried to add the $19.99 charge for flower petals and one rose that was on our table. I quickly told them to remove that because I never asked for it nor would I. What a rip off it would have been. Plus I hate flowers. With all of that being said, our Christmas dinner experience was horrendous, nobody seemed to care including the manager. She made snarky comment when I said “we eat here a lot”. Which we do. I consider multiple times a year a lot when it’s a pricey place to eat. I was less than impressed and I have reached out to their corporate office to file a complaint. If the manager had simply just apologized instead of being rude throughout our entire situation it would have made a big difference. Returning customers is a big deal in this economy. Think about that. Being treated like we don’t matter was not the way to go with this. Very disappointing and we will be booking our experience elsewhere from now on.
Update: I was contacted today by manager, Brandy, and she apologized for our service. I feel we had a positive discussion and we will be going back to The Melting Pot in Kennesaw again to give it another go. We do greatly enjoy the experience and the food. I am very glad we were able to have a conversation.
Excellent experience from beginning to end.
I met my daughter here for dinner and I was specifically looking for something that had a gluten-free selection for her but that I would like as well. Carrabba’s is consistently excellent across every restaurant I’ve eaten at and this store is certainly no exception. We had excellent service, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. You really can’t ask for more.
My favorite from almost the first time I ate at this restaurant is the Pollo Rosa Maria. Paired with the fettuccine Alfredo it is hard to beat!
5 stars for Ruth! My mom has to eat gluten free. She wanted lunch, but we arrived too early and they were still serving breakfast. She had not had Chick-fil-A breakfast before. Ruth made a couple of recommendations and answered our questions. Mom got a breakfast bowl with grilled chicken (which she later said was fantastic) and a peach milkshake. Ruth even requested they clean the ice cream mixing wand for her to reduce the possibility of cross contamination.
Not GLUTEN friendly! I got so sick! I was half way through my broccoli salad when I noticed pasta was mixed in there. My whole body is jacked up, because this wasnt just a little cross contamination, which is bad enough. Not to mention that they didn't include our whole order in the delivery and we had to go through the hassle of figuring that out.
We found this place because of the tesla superchargers just outside the door. Perfect set up for charging and dining. I was not expecting to walk into one my all time favorite meals, but it happened. It felt like I was in an old restaurant in Europe. The staff was on top of everything and smiling while they worked. I told him I was gluten free and it got me a gf menu in seconds. We made our choices and everything streamlined from there. A delicious family style salad came out. As we finished that our entrée's came out. That meat sauce was the best I've ever had. My wife ate the garlic rolls/knots or whatever they are called with her eyes closed all while she made these funny moaning sounds. I just watched.
As we finished, the check arrived, and our tesla finished charging. It couldn't have timed out any better. We arrive at our car to find others needing a charge spot and a guy ask if that italian restaurant is any good. Lol
Don't skip this place. I might drive down from kentucky to just to charge up and eat again.
I attended a seminar there with about fifty people. We were served in a timely manner. There were several choices for dinner. Every entre was hot and the presentation was beautiful. I had blackened salmon served on a bed of yams which was gluten-free and it was delicious.
The food was average. They do have gluten-free options. We had the BEST server ever! He truly made the experience wonderful for me. I'll go back just to see him! His personality lit up the room!
We enjoyed our breakfast. The turkey sausage was really good, but the egg whites had zero flavor. They do have Gluten Free options so that's a plus. Great service. Will visit again.
I would be extremely careful if you have Celiac disease and want a Gluten Free pizza. My husband and I were in town visiting friends when we ordered Pisanos. We ordered the Gluten Free pizza for him. No one advised us that there could be cross contamination, and there is no disclaimer on the menu. He became violently ill a couple hours later, almost had to make a trip to the ER. Do Not trust the GF pizza if you have celiac!
Food was amazing, Service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was like being on vacation.
They have an entire menu dedicated to gluten free options!!
And they have ALOT of vegan options.
If you go, you have to try the Ultimate Pina colada
Flying Biscuit is our favorite breakfast spot. It’s a hidden gem. Several clearly marked Gluten Free options. We typically sit at the bar and our server Ansley H is always on point with her service and triple latte. They never disappoint.
AMAZING food. Came by because I found out arepas are gluten free and I have celiac, but I did not expect the quality of this food to be so amazing. Honestly could not recommend this enough.
I owe these people a review. Know that I have been coming here enough to have received multiple earned free desserts on their point system. Why? Thai has gone the way of Indian (Chicken Tikka Masala takes its origin in Britain.) “Chinese” General Tso Chicken- don’t get me started). Bland milky curries, boring spring rolls, sugar coated flavorless Pad Thai….etc etc. do you want it 1 star or 5 star spicy…..THIS IS NOT THAT KIND OF PLACE. Sorry Julio. Your Thai churros are not going to fly with me.. You will eat your food as the chefs prepare it and you WILL like it. One exception- a friend of mine is gluten intolerant. Nearly the entire menu can be prepared GLUTEN FREE. Just ask them. If I could wish for 1 thing there - not a dealbreaker - a soda fountain with Diet Coke.
This was an amazing restaurant! The owner and part of the staff are from Italy which makes it so much better. The food is amazing and everyone took care of us! I love the atmosphere as it gives a good home like feel. I definitely will be coming back to this restaurant every chance I get. I strongly recommend! My friend is allergic to dairy, gluten and soy and they still have her an amazing dinner!
This is the place for a burger. They offer gluten free bun and lettuce wrap. I can't eat the cryfry basket, but I hear that it rocks. There is a patio and upper terrace if you wish to view the charms of Kennesaw while you dine. Parking is a bit of an issue because they are popular, and space is limited. Get around that and eat here. You won't be disappointed
Amazing sushi and service. I drive 30mins to pick up sushi here. Even had ordered the wrong sushi (sushi with gluten) and manager fixed it right there for me. Favorite sushi place by far.
I was told that this place had something special, and they were absolutely right! The gluten-free pizza here is hands down the most delicious I've ever had. I honestly forgot I was eating gluten-free!
The atmosphere and energy in this place is just as incredible as the food. The interiors are dope and the staff make you feel like you are part of the family.
If you're looking for a spot that delivers on both taste and atmosphere, this is it. Can't wait to come back!
Love coming to this location! Our experience is fantastic everytime & we recommend this place to all our friends! They are also very gluten-free friendly!
