We drove from Buffalo to eat here. I must say it was worth it. Fantastic service and delicious crepes. So Fresh and tasty. My wife is celiac and they were accommodating.
I was visiting from out of state and stumbled upon this sandwich shop — and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.
The food was absolutely fantastic. Flavorful ingredients, generous portions, and a menu that offered creative options while still delivering the classic favorites. What truly stood out to me was how allergy-friendly this place is. As someone who needs to eat gluten-free, it can be tough to find sandwich shops that understand cross-contamination and take it seriously — but Picasso’s did. The staff took the time to listen to my needs, explain the menu clearly, and offer safe, thoughtful options. They even had a gluten-free brownie for dessert!
Whether you have dietary restrictions or not, this is a must-visit spot. Great food, even better people. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!
I cannot begin to tell you about my amazing experience at The Cork! My students, staff, and I stopped for lunch on our way to Pittsburgh and the staff was beyond accommodating! They had meals prepackaged for those fasting in observance of Ramadan and even created a dedicated, private prayer space. And the chef and manager gave a short presentation about working in hospitality and management. The food was beyond amazing and then curate a menu to fit everyone; vegetarian, halal, and gluten free! I would highly recommend The Cork for a small intimate dinner with a loved one or a large group. Not to mention the staff was SO great with my high schoolers.
Our server was so kind and polite, and I was impressed with his attention to detail and care for our table! He frequently checked on us to see if we needed anything, and all orders were correct. He even brought my toddler daughter's food out first so she would be content and happy while we waited.
The food was very good, and they have very nice gluten free options for their burgers, pizza, and sandwiches!
The only reason I am not giving 5 starts is because it was expensive for pub food, and they have no french fries on the menu which was a huge bummer to the whole family.
Good experience. Hailee the server was awesome. Tons of gluten free and allergen menu. Amazing view, good decor and ambiance, relaxing. Portions are huge. Would prefer smaller with more quality. Shrimp on flatbread didn’t have any flavor and was a bit tough. Lots of cheese/oil, but nothing bad tasting. Pork was well cooked, tender and juicy.
Really wonderful service and food! The server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gluten free options. The meals were good portions and excellent taste.
They don't bread anything, so eating there is safe for people who have to be gluten free. They have a choice of hamburger in a bowl or lettuce wrap. I chose in a bowl. Since nothing is breaded, the delicious french fries are safe to eat. They also serve hot dogs and a veggie burger. I love Five Guys and I'll definitely come back again next time I'm in Erie.
We had an event catered by them and it was absolutely perfect. The food is delicious, they even have options for gluten free, and are wonderful to work with. 100% recommend.
My wife and I ate here recently, I ordered the roasted-garlic sirloin steak (medium rare) with garlic/thyme butter, loaded baked potato.. it was really good and seasoned well, I ordered a side salad (I chose the BLT salad) for an additional upcharge and it was delicious. My wife (Gluten Free) ordered the tomahawk pork-chop, and it was massive, came with roasted carrots that were cooked perfect and were probably the largest carrots we'd ever seen as an accompaniment. They did botch her request for the GF option she had chosen, but that didn't prevent my wife from enjoying the rest of her meal.. the only thing preventing us from having an overall great experience was the temperature inside, it was cold, very cold, and we weren't even that close to the entryway.. most tables nearby had their jackets on for the duration of their meals as well.. but overall it was very satisfying, and the price was good for the portion sizes. We will be back.
Today was my first time at The Boardroom, and my tastebuds have been blown away. The Happy Hour specials run Monday through Saturday with delicious options at the bar! We tried the cheese curds and won tons and which were bursting with flavor. Our drinks were prepared by Trey, and we couldn’t have enjoyed the layered notes of taste.
Our dinners were beyond our expectations! My husband, who is gluten free, was awestruck by his shrimp Caesar salad which lightly grilled the romaine for a Smokey finish. I had the shrimp gnocchi filled with Asiago and Parmesan in a vodka sauce and roasted tomatoes. Trey recommended two scallops with this dish, and they topped it off! Goodness, it was absolutely exquisite. We will definitely be back!! I’ll be taking people to lunch and dinner at The Boardroom!
The Co-Op is such a great community asset to Erie! Absolutely love being a member. Minutes away from home so super convenient— superb options nowhere else here has, like the sea moss gel and Shilajit honey. Also appreciate the wide varieties of dairy free and gluten free products. Every snack from the cafe is always delish, the whole team is so sweet and helpful- always look forward to a shopping trip here!
Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Their Gluten free options were good, but my burger looked more like wet cat food pate than a burger. The other food (grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, and Stromboli) were up to par for kids and my partner. All-in-all, not a bad choice, but I would not order the burger again.
Gluten and soy-free diner here. My family and I dined here on Monday after the tornado warning expired. We were not disappointed. A big thank you to our server Meadow, who noticed that I did not receive my corn tortilla with my California Grilled Salad. I asked her to substitute the regular Monterey Jack cheese and salad dressing with Cojita cheese and a side of guacamole. It is nice to know that in spite of how busy she was, she remembered that I also asked to substitute the normal flour tortilla with a corn tortilla. Thank you once again, Meadow!
I absolutely LOVED this place. I watched the birth of this establishment on the Discovery Channel TV program Undercover Billionaire. Since my wife and I were in town, we decided to try it out.
When we walked in, we were immediately taken in by the smell of smoke. Something you would smell if you were doing an outside wood fired BBQ.
As we looked at the menu, my wife was concerned about several items on the menu. She has become very gluten sensitive in the last 2 years which has caused her to scrutinize everything she eats. We consulted with the waitress and she was not able to sufficiently answer our questions.
The waitress actually brought the cook from the kitchen (I think it was Ashley) who was able to tell us what was in the food. My wife was able to make a selection that was not only safe for her to eat but was also delicious. (BTW, my meal was great, too!)
Thank you to all the staff at Underdog BBQ and I wish you great success!
I love the owners🥰- always friendly and they treat you like family. Food is delicious with lots of options, best Gluten free pizza that doesn’t make me feel like I am getting less than because of my allergies. Thank you Friends! We will always be repeat Customers! ❤️
What an amazing jewel in Erie. The food was amazing. The service was top notch too. Best of all, it was safe for Gluten Free dining. Loved this place!!
Needed a quality place for great beer and food after spending hours on the beach. This place is all that and more. CC was our server and took care of us with great service. They accommodated my wife with a gluten free salad and flatbread. We got the cod special, blackened chicken pasta and shrimp tacos and all tasted fresh and very filling. Large selection of beer cans and bottles. This place is a local gem in Erie.
I got the three meat plate with two sides, a pound of brisket to take home, and deviled eggs. The meat was juicy and delectable. I ordered fatty brisket but they do have lean as well, and it’s equally juicy. Their sausage isn’t spicy, and is well seasoned. The turkey was the best smoked turkey I’ve ever had, and that includes having had Texas style BBQ in Texas. Their brisket you hardly had to cut, and was the star of the show. All of their meats and sauces are gluten free, as well as the coleslaw, potato salad, and deviled eggs. I tried mixing all three sauces and they’re delicious. My cousin got ribs so I tried a bite and they were fall off the bone and moist as well. Her husband got pinto beans and Mac n cheese and he said everything was delicious. My only suggestion would be to add a white sauce to the mix, but that’s not commonplace in Texas style, so I get it if they don’t. 100% will go back.
I absolutely love this place! As a gluten-free gal, it's hard to find places to eat, and chic-fil-A makes it pretty easy! I don't have to worry about cross contamination and I can eat the fries!
Fast food is something I avoid, but this will always be a treat I fully enjoy!
Delicious food, got a burger and fries and my boyfriend got a salad with sweet potato fries. Everything was super good, I highly recommend their burgers 🍔 The workers were great and they have gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options.
I have been trying to find a favorite restaurant in Erie. I was excited to try this and glad that the menu pointed out the gluten-free options. Unfortunately, they were completely out of gluten-free bread which took out a lot of things that I wanted to eat like the French dip sandwich. When we got there, we were told that there were only a few hamburgers left and my friend said he wanted one, so they went ahead and set it aside for him which was nice. But like why are there so few hamburgers left on a Saturday evening? It was hard for me to decide what I wanted, so I went ahead and went for the strip steak. My friend ordered a mudslide, and we both tried it. There was no alcohol in that thing not even a little bit. My rum runner was fine, but not spectacular… they served it in plastic cups, which made me not want to get a glass of wine with my dinner. My steak was fine and the garlic mashed potatoes were fine. The portabella’s were so so. I don’t think they were fresh or they didn’t taste like it. My friend got the burger and I just wasn’t any condiments on it and all they gave us was ketchup. Finally tracked the waitress down and got some mayonnaise and mustard. The fries were not anything special and definitely not worth of $4.95 for the ad on if you didn’t want the potato salad. Overall, this place could be really good. Maybe we just went on an off night and it was too busy. I really wanted to like this place it just didn’t seem to add up to the reviews of being one of the best spots in Erie. But location location location it’s a great spot to people watch if you sit outside. If you have a big booty the chairs, are those cheap plastic kinds that are miserable. Good luck.
One of our very favorite places! Specialty glittery citrus gin cocktail, Creek's invention, in photo. 😋 Offers some gluten free options and gluten free buns pictured here with French Dip sandwich with au jus. Lately they've been featuring regular specials, like this bone-in pork steak with a great sweet potato veggie combination that is simply delicious, healthy and refreshingly different from the basic bar and grill menus in most places. Creeks has also begun offering dessert options. Mmmm!
They have very little knowledge of their gluten free menu options; I have celiac disease, and I was very open about this when ordering my food. They brought out my burger and the bun looked eerily similar to everyone else's; I questioned it and was reassured by the waitress that it was a gluten free bun. It wasn't. I was sick for days afterward.
The manager assured me that they would train their staff to prevent this from happening again, but once I get sick like this, I don't give the place another chance.
I highly recommend Roscos. Gluten sensitivity? No problem! They have many gluten free options. I love the turkey burgers and the pulled pork nachos. Fun atmosphere too!
Just passing through. Our waitress checked with the cook to help me order gluten free food. Very good burger and fresh fries and coleslaw. Recommend and I will go again.
We got the nachos, cheeseburger with gluten free bun, fries, and the reuben. Nothing came out hot. The nachos were cold and soggy, barely had anything on them, and were super salty and just gross. The gluten free bun was stale and it fell apart. The fries were cold and greasy. Maybe they should make better food not bigger food. We left most of our food on the table and server didn’t seem to care. $51 for the worst food i’ve had in a long time. The best part was the red cream soda.
