-WAS GIVEN REGULAR CREPE WHEN ORDERED GLUTEN FREE-
Saw online that this place had a bunch of gluten free options. So my wife (Celiac) and I tried it for breakfast. Arrived first thing in the morning, was the first customers. Place smelled like it was having sewer problems. We overlooked that and took a seat. Waitress was super nice and informative. We saw on the menu there were Gluten Free Crepes. My wife ordered a gluten free crepe. (cream cheese, strawberry and chocolate). Waitress said it was a good option for gluten free. Food arrived and it tasted wonderful, got the bill and noticed that we were not charged the extra $1.50 fee for gluten free. Initially we thought, how nice of them to not charge it, and we paid and left. An hour later, my wife started to get sick, and sicker. She had been “glutened”. Somehow there was a miscommunication on the waitress end to the kitchen and was given a regular crepe. We did not contact the restaurant, because we knew they were just going to apologize and maybe offer a free meal at a later date. However we were just visiting for the week and that was the last day and we were headed home. I guess when you order gluten free crepes, double and triple check that they are actually gluten free.

Excellent taco shop. Vegetarian and gluten free options. One of the tacos is vegetarian with corn and pickles jalapeños the other is smoked pork with onions. The crisp cheese is a nice touch. Loaded queso is delicious and my wife enjoyed the loaded tots. Great for this Celiac guy!

I absolutely love this place! I wish I lived closer so I could come here as a regular. The gluten free coffee cake is to die for! I am gluten free and my friends are not. The staff was so rude. I can't even rate the food because we didn't stay. We had called for gluten-free options, and the person on the phone was rude when we asked about the wait; he said he could not tell us over the phone and had to go online. Then we showed up, and the front staff was rude when we put our names on the list. So we decided to leave and go to the next store, the Creepery, which was much more accommodating and friendly. They even have gluten-free options that are perfect for gluten allergies! Do not recommend

We needed a quick food run with gluten free options and we chose Mad Pita because it was highly recommended for GF options. The woman Working the register completely ignored and disregarded multiple attempts to ask about gluten free options and the contents of the rice bowls. When we receive the food, I pointed out that there was something on the bowl that did not look gluten-free and once again inquired, can you tell me the contents of this bowl? She ignored me, handed me the bowl and continued to say “nothings guaranteed.” I had to get on their online menu to find out that there is Boulder wheat in the salad and was not informed of after multiple attempts of asking. I even inquired about the gluten-free menu and she said she knew nothing about that except that they had gluten-free pita bread. This was some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. The woman completely disregarded any and all concerns. Wasted my $10 and had to throw away the bowl because it contained gluten.

This is my favorite place to have a fancy dinner in St. George! The view is stunning and they do such a great job at accommodating gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries and these fried brussels sprouts with bacon and balsamic are the best that you’ll ever eat! I always get the red chili salmon and it’s so good too! I can’t understand why it is so hard for the employees here and the manager to follow a simple order ticket. The only reason we continue to eat here is because my daughter needs Gluten Free. I understand it’s hard to find good help but I’m pretty patient since I owned a successful restaurant for years. 9 out of 10 trips to this Costa Vida go the same every time. My daughter and I send our orders in on the app separately. I always show up at least 10 minutes late because I know the orders won’t be ready whether they’re busy or slow. Tonight there were 5 customers sitting at 2 tables (3 & 2). 2 people waiting for their orders, 1 before me and 1 after. I tell them our names, we order the same exact thing everytime. As usual, they haven’t started making it. When I arrived, 2 employees are standing at the food line waiting for customers to come in. The girl runs the tickets off and takes them to the back. I wait for over 15 minutes. They finally bring the orders up. I always have to check them because again, 9 out of 10 times the order is wrong. First I notice the queso is missing, chips are there but no queso. As usual, one Baja bowl that is suppose to have no toppings except the chips is smothered in pico and other toppings. It’s ordered without because it can’t be eaten so I have to ask them to remake it. 10 minutes later the 1 little Baja bowl comes back up. There is suppose to be extra chicken and extra chips (it’s paid for). They usually put them in little cups. Trust me this Baja bowl they bring up had nothing extra on it. I mention to the girl, there is suppose to be extra chicken and extra chips. She tries reassuring me that “she’s sure they made it like it said.” First of all, not sure why she would be so confident it’s correct when she knows they always make it wrong. Their way of dealing with issues is to ignore the customer. She starts helping someone else so I just leave.
While I was waiting the second time for the order to be made, there’s no one in the restaurant in line so I ask, who I think is the manager. Hi, I’m wondering if they wait until the customer comes in with an order on the app to actually start making the order. I asked very nicely, trying to figure out their system. A customer walks up to the line right then, so his way of dealing with my question was to mumble something, and walk off to help the other customer. Like I say, it’s always been thier way there, avoid and ignore!! It’s to bad they can’t find better management to help work out some of these issues. Good luck

There is absolutely no possible way to get ahold of the physical restaurant because they have a stupid corporate answering system where someone in their bedroom working form home answers. The only way they can get ahold of the restaurant is by email. Super helpful. I had to call them to tell them to change their gloves and wash surfaces due to my wife's Celiac Disease. Because DoorDash doesn't have a special request option for Chipotle, the site specifically says this location has chosen not to accept special requests. So good job Chipotle, you likely contaminated my wife's dinner. Now she gets to eat frozen pizza instead of a nice salad. So we wasted a good amount of money for a mean she can't eat.
Hope this makes it to the suggested changes box and changes real fast.

My fiancée and I dined in at this location and I have to say, that was a 10/10 experience. My fiancée is celiac and the staff were very good about washing their hands and reassuring her they’d prepare her sandwich on a different line to avoid cross contamination. She was also very complimentary of the gluten free bread, something that has constantly been an issue at other places. My sandwich was divine, the bacon was crispy, the lettuce was fresh and crunchy, it was a perfectly prepared mixture of textures and flavors. No notes. Only the highest of praise for this location. Next time I’m in St. George I will plan on stopping here because it has easily been the best Jersey Mike’s location that I have been to.

Ordered delivery. Delivery came as scheduled no issue there- the food however was absolutely disgusting. got my burger as a lettuce wrap (gluten free) and it was soggy and dripping wet by the time i got it. Also cold to the touch, and the lettuce looked like it was a week old, held up like it was too. Wound up trying to just unwrap it from the wrap, and eat it like that but even then it was filled with grease and cold. The fries were bland and soggy and cold as well. Very disappointed.

We came in for date night about an hour before close on a Monday night.
Food was great, portions were great, and service from Kara was great too! Wine prices were very reasonable. Was happy to see a gluten-free menu option. Took a minute to get sat but sometimes that’s the case when waiting for good food. I was very happy with the overall experience. Will be trying again in the future.

If you are Celiac or severe reaction to gluten DO NOT go here!
I do understand it’s a sandwich shop but when I asked about cross contamination as I have celiac disease (not my choice) the lady was very rude to me as she stated they are a sandwich shop and there are no guarantees. They did remake my sandwich but as the other worker did she rolled her eyes and was clearly bothered that she had to do that.
If you work in a restaurant maybe educate yourself on what celiac disease is as it’s not something someone just asks to get or has a choice.
We want to be treated with good customer service as well.
Being that you’re in customer service then maybe being a little nicer with more compassion would go further.
Customer service was awful!
