Fully vegan and gluten free. Everything was truly very good. One of our favorite plant-based joints yet. Convenient parking and access. Chill atmosphere. Not busy at all for 9am on a Sunday. Also great coffee and tea place right by it as well. Perfect stop for my family w/ 2 kids passing through town.
Really good but odd tasting, it was probably just not my taste of this type of food. I didn’t know the waffles were gluten free but it seems like they use a very fresh type of ingredients for everything, which is good. Everything was still really tasteful but for the family it just tasted a bit off. Service was great. This place should be like 2x the size for the amount of people who love it. I’d come back and try more.
As someome who needs gluten and dairy free food, I was very excited to try this restaurant. The dairy free cheese was excellent but the gluten free pizza was not. The crust was gluey and the opposite of crisp. Maybe it needed a few more minutes in the oven? I've had much better gluten free crusts from frozen pizzas in the grocery store. I was extremely disappointed to pay an extra 3.50 for something that tasted like the gluten free pizza I was excited to eat 20 years ago. We've come so far in what gluten free food can be, there is no need for limp, chewy, sad crusts anymore. Hopefully this restaurant can up their game in the future. I did enjoy the greek salad with dairy free feta!
Came here with my daughter on a day off school and the vibe was 10/10 and the bagel was even better!! I am celiac and got a gluten free bagel sandwich and cinnamon rolls and they were soooo good!! We will be back!
*Gluten Free Pizza Review* I got 2 GF pizzas and they were undercooked and not memorable - tasted more like flatbread than pizza. Only plus is the veggies did taste fresh, but otherwise will never go back for GF pizza. Try Bennedito’s on the South Hill for delicious GF pizza.
I was searching online for a nice place to go for Fathers day Lunch. We have 1 person with a Milk allergy, and 1 person who cant have gluten or dairy. So when this place popped up and i saw the menu, i was pretty excited, seeing as i am the milk allergy. Happy hour appetizers where delicious ( the vegan queso i could have ate like soup) the pretzels are amazing, chips and salsa, then we all had different main courses, we had one fried/ crispy chicken sandwich that looked spectacular, we had a basic cheese burger ( with vegan cheese on lettuce) they have gluten free buns but she prefers no bun, then we had the Cascadia burger with the garlic fries, and finally the blue cheese burger sub for vegan FYH blue cheese and garlic fries, a dessert of lemon cheese cake with a huckleberry sauce ( that only had to bites eaten but was declared refreshing) a couple scoops of vegan icecream shared, and a scoop of regular icecream. All in all the meal was pretty tasty and we all were planning what we wanted next. Dare we say at least a couple of us are thinking the Vegan Mac.
I've eaten here several times and my boyfriend always has issues, not enough sauce, the ajou is watered down, service is slow, etc. BUT my meals are pretty good. The gluten free tots are my favorite. Crispy and salted just enough. The burgers, rueben, and rib tips are good. So I'm giving 1 star less because of my picky boyfriend and how unhappy he becomes during meals here. I do agree that service takes too long to give the check and/or return to the table during the meal.
We had a really great experience! We are visiting from out of town and stopped in after a really long drive with out very cranky 10 month old. The staff was very understanding and kind- super kid friendly restaurant!! They had great gluten free options that were delicious! They also were really knowledgeable when I ordered which made me confident in the kitchen staff. Would definitely recommend!
Took family and relatives to dinner here. Food was fresh and good. Some ordered gluten free. We had drinks. Everyone enjoyed their dish. Appetizers were good. Service was very good. Highly recommended.
Saranac Public House – Spokane, WA
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Saranac. I was dining with someone who has celiac, and we had zero issues finding great gluten-free options. The team did an awesome job.
I ordered the chicken wings with gochujang sauce (not gluten-free), and we shared the steak and potatoes appetizer, Thai chicken flatbread, and mac and cheese. All had gluten-free versions available and were outstanding. The flavors were bold, the portions generous, and the service was top-notch.
Also, happy hour is available all day on Sundays, which was a great bonus.
Great food, plenty of GF options, and excellent service. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure.

If you say you have gluten free pizza but you tell someone that needs gluten free that you really can't trust how "gluten free" it really is then you don't have gluten free. Very disappointing.
Service was stellar, but the waffles and toppings were bland. Double checked mine was gluten free when it was delivered. They said yes, it wasn’t. It’s a crowded spot but it was poppin.
I'm not even sure that they need my review, but I'm going to make sure I add it to the pile. They are definitely a very special and unique place. First of all, I have an affinity for places that are tucked away in neighborhoods. I think that's so neat! Parking is a little bit difficult, and that's probably the only downfall.
They have such a huge selection of specialty sodas, and they also have floats and homemade frozen custard. So your sweet tooth can definitely be easily satisfied. They have a decent selection of beer, too. The food menu is somewhat limited, but still very expansive. They have some very creative combinations and interesting and unique sauces. My favorite was the green onion sauce! I never had anything like it and it was amazing. Their burgers are large and definitely quality, from the bun to the patty. I had a gluten-free bun, but it tasted like it was made in-house, as I've never had one like it.
Overall, a great experience and we would definitely go back. I highly recommend it.
THE BEST dining experience I’ve ever had. I was never a food connoisseur, but NOW I am. This place livened up my taste buds and now I see why people dine at elegant restaurants. WOW! AMAZING SERVICE, BEAUTIFUL FOOD, VERY knowledgeable and friendly staff. ALSO 90% of the menu is GLUTEN FREE and they change up the menu every 4-5 months continually exciting you for the upcoming dishes! The entire experience makes me finally see why people do fine dining. I’ve never been utterly impressed with food until now. The best date night ever!!! Thank you for this dining experience!
Kunis is always a winner! It’s our absolute favorite spot. I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu, and every dish is a solid 5 stars. As someone with celiac, I truly appreciate how accommodating and friendly they are—they make dining in and out such a seamless and enjoyable experience.
I had the pleasure of celebrating a night out with my sisters at P.F. Chang's in Spokane, and everything was absolute perfection!
We indulged in the decadent Chef's Feast, and let me tell you, it was a masterclass in flavor and abundance! The portions were generous, to say the least, and we relished every bite.
Our waitress was an absolute rockstar! Attentive, knowledgeable, and warm, she made our evening truly special.
The culinary highlights were endless, but the gluten-free options truly stole the show. The gluten-free chicken was a game-changer - crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. It's rare to find gluten-free options that impress, but P.F. Chang's nailed it!
If you're looking for a dining experience that will leave you feeling full and content, look no further than P.F. Chang's in Spokane. Five stars aren't enough - I'd give it ten if I could!
Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or need to feed a large group, don't hesitate to call up Caruso's! We are lucky to have a lot of great options in Spokane, but Caruso's is highly requested in our office, for good reason! I've never had an order show up late (it's such a bonus to not have to use a third-party delivery service for catering orders!!), and the one time an item was missing, they offered to replace or refund it immediately. The staff is fast and efficient without sacrificing friendly service. I cannot recommend them enough! The salads, pizza, and sandwiches (my favorite), are always a hit!
P.S. They have gluten-free options, too!
Amazing coffee. It was so so good. Very cute decor. On street parking only. Staff wasn't super organized and it took a while to get my drink. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. No soy milk... which is my fav. It was almost $9 for a latte however....
I really enjoyed eating g here with my dad and sisters a few months ago. It was a charming little place, and their Gluten-free crepes were excellent. I highly recommend this place for good service and their awesome GF options!
It was just an amazing place overall. We were on a roadtrip and just passing by. I was so surprised to find a dog friendly restaurant that was also gluten-free! I was very pleased!
Mizuna has been my go to downtown restaurant for years, tonight however was a complete disappointment. My scallops had a beautiful sear and were delish, however the accompanying risotto was under done and full of butternut squash. My gluten free/vegetarian friend had ordered the risotto main and her entire entree was underdone, full of squash and tasted like fish. My friends and I meet there every year to have wine, food and a wonderful holiday visit- we are willing to pay for the experience.
That did not even come close to happening this evening.:….at one point during our lengthy wait for food, I went to the bar to get my own glass of wine!
I did not take out my disappointment on the wait staff- but rather waited to submit my concerns to management.
Omg, this was the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a longgg time. I got to eat something insanely delicious that defied expectation and was also gluten-free. And the service was fantastic. I had a lovely evening with my friend catching up.
I haven't been here much since the pandemic and work from home thing all started as well as the new ownership, but that was obviously a mistake on my part because the coffee and baked goods are even better than I remember. The gluten free stuff is so dang good. The GF blueberry scone is to die for. Everyone can find something yummy to eat here! Their patio is super cute and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed.
I can't say enough about Frank's diner. The food is amazing and the staff is amazing and the services impeccable. I have celiac disease. Frank's is the only place where I can order. So many different foods that are gluten free. I love the train car atmosphere as I always have love trains. The food is fresh, quick, hot and delicious. I don't have any pictures of my plate because I always eat it too fast and forget to take pictures lol. Frank's food is exquisite besides comfort food and if you can't do gluten for any other reason besides Celiac like allergies or intolerance Frank's is the place to be.
Consistently good food, has great gluten free options, staff understand gluten free needs. We order the pans several times a year and have never been disappointed in the quality. Kudos!!
Server was nice but very slow. Our appetizer sat on the bar for at least 10 minutes before the cook brought it out to us. Gluten free pizza had good flavor. I’ll be back, but to go.
Ok, so everything about this restaurant is five star! The food is exceptional, chef’s kiss. The service is crazy good ( I wish I knew the name of our amazing server, but I don’t BUT I do know he and his partner just had twins), and the vibe is perfect.
Do yourself a favor and book a brunch!
We’re from out of town and our kids from Liberty Lake took is to brunch here on our way to the airport.
I have celiac and they totally catered to my dietary needs!
We haven't been here since it first opened. We don't live in the area.
It's great that they have a gluten free crust for my wife.
The basil and tomato with chicken is fantastic!.
I have Celiac. They were great at accommodating my allergy. All the food and drinks were delicious. The pairing of sweet and savory of the pork chop was perfect. The staff was friendly and very professional. The atmosphere is delightful except for a very bright bulb right above our table. I would recommend this as a must to experience if you are in Spokane.
I'm going to start with if you want gluten friendly it really isn't gluten friendly. they cook it all on the same surface witch contamination from the gluten pizza messes up the gluten free pizza.
