I’ve heard such amazing things about this place so I was really excited to try it. I ordered my food on Uber eats so that may have made the difference with dine out. The pizza was OK, I didn’t love the cheese and there wasn’t a lot of sauce. However, the bread was great especially gluten-free. The fries were a little bit cold so that might be why they weren’t so good but I wasn’t in love. And the mac & cheese was OK. It was probably the best thing out of all three items that I tried. I just wish it had more cheese. I would definitely try it again, but would try different items or in person this time.

It was a disappointment because online it states they have gluten free pizza with designated ovens. Not only they did not have it the waitress told us it is not a gluten friendly restaurant and that there is flour flying all over the place. Being celiac I walked out. Not nice at all. Celiac friends go across the street to Acquolina. Great service, atmosphere and gluten free options.
Unbelievably tasty crispy pillowy chewy gluten-free pizza crust I’ve ever tried. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My go-to so far is the ‘Sofia’ with mushrooms, artichoke & Italian ham. Superb service. Take your date, your mum, or heck yourself, here for a treat!
House bread with garlic butter, hot shrooms (star of the show), and Caesar salad were excellent. I think I would return just for those three things. Joey was an excellent server. I knocked off a couple stars because although our appetizers came out quickly, we waited an extremely long time for our entrées and the pesto fusilli came out room temperature, nearly cold. They accidentally served us a gluten-free widow pizza, and shortly after brought us one with the regular crust. The smoked date purée on the widow sounded intriguing, and although it was tasty, there was way too much slathered onto the pizza. I would not go so heavy handed with that covering the pizza. So overall, the entrees were meh, but the appetizers excellent!
Best pasta joint in LA! Been coming here for over 20 years. When I discovered that they had GF options, I literally did a victory dance because I didn’t have to give up on one of my favorite places. I wish they’d make their tiramisu in a GF version…that’d make this place perfect.
We had take away. Gluten free pizza crust was good. Sauce was typical So-Cal bland. Spinach salad with balsamic salad dressing had an alarming amount of rosemary. My sautéd spinach had a hard piece of foreign matter in it, which hurt my tooth and ruined my meal. I shared a photo of the object with the manager and he stated that he only needed to reimburse me for the spinach as that was the only part of my food impacted. Clearly he is fine with foreign matter in his pricy food. Not a restaurant that I will return to.

A wonderful gem of a place in Little Italy. A family business, with the proprietors giving you a taste of real Italian humor should you give them an opening (try ordering a dry cappuccino, lol). It’s rather small and fills up fast, so plan for waiting if you’re heading there for dinner. Worth it, though. We had the Frutti de Mare Linguini (special), Lobster Ravioli and Funghi & Salsiccia pizza. They have gluten free options. Highly recommend!
The best gluten free pizza. They have the dough perfected! They will even make bread sticks gf for my son. I wish they had gf meatballs because they are amazing
Got the grand slam. Never would have guessed the pancakes were both vegan and gluten free. Everything was delicious. The sausage and eggs are definitely vegan, but taste great. Service was excellent, excited to try other things.
Being celiac, I blame myself for believing that a Mac and Cheese place that offers a gluten free alternative could be for real. Don’t be fooled by their ‘GF available’ option, either the sauce was made with flour, or they reused the water to boil the pasta, but I had the worst gluten experience of my life. It was way beyond cross contamination. I agree that the food was delicious, but I would not risk it being are celiac or gluten intolerant, I regretted it deeply. The restaurant agreed to reimburse my plate and ‘look at the kitchen footage’… one week later and I am still waiting for the refund and never heard about their conclusion. I would not brand this place GF unless they change to a dedicated kitchen.
To end the night on an even lower note, although not the restaurant’s fault, our car got broken into, parked right outside the restaurant.
10/10. Can’t wait to go back for lunch. I felt safe eating here and consider GG’s celiac safe. They took excellent care to prepare wonderful safe and vegetarian gluten free food for me.
First time here after seeing many positive reviews for celiac diners who have to eat gluten free. I also need to be dairy free and egg free and that had a generous selection of vegan items so I had high hopes for a good experience. They met my expectations! The sever made me feel comfortable right away when I let him
know my needs. He directed me to the 2 gf pasta choices and the vegan sauces. They even had bread I could eat with their amazing tomato sauce. It’s been years since I’ve been able to have bread in a restaurant with my family. The pasta even held up to being reheated for leftovers without falling apart- bravo!!!
This place was great, the staff were attentive and kind. I ordered Seafood Fettuccine and it was amazing. My boyfriend is gluten free and he was catered for too!
Went here to celebrate a family birthday, with everyone eating gluten-free. Disappointed there was no gluten-free beer available. The mozzarella cheese fries appetizer took half an hour, and was strange—odd presentation with way too much cheese (it looked like cheese pie—which okay, who doesn’t love more cheese? but visually, it was unappetizing, not browned or bubbly, just a slab of melted cheese) and underneath, the fries were barely cooked. When we mentioned it to the server, she didn’t apologize or make it right—she told us the fries are baked that way in the oven since they don’t have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and they end up undercooked. Okay….Our pizza was good, but not enough sauce, and the sausage was crumbled instead of bite-sized pieces. The gluten-free vegan lasagna was delicious! But the slow service (it wasn’t crowded, but every step of service was slow) and “sucks to be gluten-free” attitude of the server and cook were disappointing. And the ‘80s pop music all night was not our thing.
Wow. Just wow. We just had an absolutely elite meal here. It's an unassuming spot, with a casual but cozy ambiance. Great for a date, celebration, or really any time you want a delicious plate of pasta.
If they have the mushroom flan, start with that. It was savory, and flavorful. We had the gluten free version, but I'm sure the normal is excellent as well.
I was impressed with the range of gluten free options, which is always appreciated for me (celiac). My partner had the crab and shrimp cream sauce with lemon linguini pasta, and she raved about it. I had the same linguini, but with the sausage saffron sauce, and loved it.
The dessert menu had a number of decadent sounding options, we settled for thr ugly chocolate cake and the GF tiaramisu. The tiaramisu was so creamy it was almost a pudding - tasty, and melt in your mouth smooth. The ugly chocolate cake (that's what they call it) was lighter than I expected, rich, but kinda airy like a soufflé.
Anyway, I can't say enough about this spot. It's a gem. If you want good pasta, this place delivers in spades.
One of the best vegan spots in LA, and one of my favorite spots in general. They have tons of gluten free options and their gluten free pizza is amazing! Staff is always, warm, friendly, & accommodating.

Yummy! They have a really good Gluten free 🍕!
It’s hard to find gluten free pizza. Tried the
Luau one and the pepperoni 🍕. If you buy a medium you can take the rest home for lunch. The service is good the staff is friendly. Our waiter Shawn was very nice. My friend bought two of their wine glasses that have the name on them. 👍 👍
i’m gluten free, lactose free, vegetarian and more. safe to say finding food i can eat is a challenge. was about to start the end of the drive back for a road trip and i felt AWFUL. we went here to grab a bite and my entire mood changed. the people we so warm and kind, there were so many options for me, and the food was so flavorful. they let me know they had dedicated gf and vegan fryers, and were easily able to accommodate a wheelchair. if you need a place to stop for a bite and you don’t know what you want, or have dietary restrictions, or lots of people with different diets this is the place to be.
TLDR: celiac friendly
My celiac friend and I stopped by to try out their gluten free flatbread and she took half of hers to go which is highly uncommon. Most gf breads are like cardboard or rubbery but this flatbread tasted just like gluten bread! She didn't get sick so there was definitely no gluten in it but whatever it was, it was amazing!
I ordered gluten full tortellini which looked and tasted like it was made in house and I was completely satisfied with my meal. We stopped by just as happy hour was ending and our waiter was quick to help us get some happy hour wine orders in before it was too late.
The bathroom... it an experience. Like many cities, some locations work within their confines and RoVino got very clever. The restroom is a short walk outside the restaurant which at first seems so strange because they have someone walk you down to it. At the end of the block, tucked away you'll find a very clean little walk to a door with their logo. Type in the code and you enter a 1 stall restroom. It was so random but well done, I'll be talking about that little experience for a while.
Great gluten and dairy free pepperoni pizza and Italian salad! The chef came out and talked to me to make sure everything was ok. Very friendly staff and fast service. I’ve been twice since our trip started, and hope to get a pizza to-go before we leave.
We had a very nice server and there’s a great ambiance at Scopa, perfect for dates and connecting with friends alike. They have a gorgeous bar, large window, candles on the tables, and all of our food came perfectly coursed. We were easily able to make a same-day reservation via the Resy app, and I do recommend making a reservation in advance because it was popping when we arrived. For parking, you can either park in the connected valet lot ($13 on a Monday) or look for free street parking (we found it pretty easily, but then again it was a Monday).
There are the top four absolute must-order items you should order to share:
1. Hot Antipasti - Scallops Oreganata ($23) with brown butter, bread crumbs, & lemon. I’m gluten free so I asked for no breadcrumbs, and I also recommend ordering a side of gluten free bread to dip in the brown butter after you finish enjoying the scallops because they have the absolute best gluten free cheesecheese bread! They only came with 2 scallops in an order so consider ordering enough so each person can have at least 1 full scallop.
2. Hot Antipasti - Mortadella Meatballs ($21) with pistachio pesto, arugula, & parmesan cheese. This came with 3 medium-large sized meatballs covered in a delicious green pesto - don’t let looks deceive you, even if this isn’t how you expect meatballs to look they’re delish.
3. Cold Antipasti - Heirloom Tomatoes ($18) with sweet onion, basil, ricotta salata cheese, sherry vinegar, & olive oil. If you enjoy tomatoes of all shapes and sizes, this is the dish for you. My favorite were the little orange tomatoes.
4. Salad - Raw Brussels Sprouts Salad ($22) with generous pecorino romano cheese, parsley, grapes, olive oil, sherry vinegar, & toasted almonds. This was a good portion size and the best raw Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had.
While I did really enjoy the flavor of oysters themselves and their sauces, and I do want to put them as item 5 to order, each of the oysters had some shell bits had to spit out, and it only came with 1 spoon and 0 mini forks. The oysters come with lemon slices, cocktail sauce, shredded horseradish, mignonette, and are $4.50 each with a minimum of 6. I would order them again, but enjoy them carefully and hope that they’re shucked better next time.
However…
Maybe things were off because it was a Monday and they had multiple large last minute parties walk in. Maybe I should have gone for the pastas instead of the below because it is an Italian restaurant. Maybe I’m just a person who enjoys more seasoning on seafood or less sauce on pork chops, but a few of the dishes weren’t exactly as good as I was expecting.
Unless you love canned tuna, absolutely avoid the Sicilian Tuna Cold Antipasti ($19) with market green beans, fingerling potato, capers, lemon, & olive oil. It wasn’t until we mentioned to our server our strong disappointment with the dish, as we were expecting either Tuna Crudo or Seared Tuna, that our server told us that he usually steers guests away from it. It also had zero seasoning, and boy did it need it. It also feels like this dish should have automatically been served with crackers.
The Amberjack Crudo ($25) with watermelon radish, bulls blood micro greens, & herb oil needed a combo-sauce or a stronger flavored oil, as it was very bland as-is. Luckily not a fishy-fish, but still lackluster for their only fish crudo on the menu.
For the Mains, they were already sold out of the 24oz T-bone Steak ($82) when we arrived, and the server recommended the Pork Chop. The generous portion of Pork Chop ($66) came with crispy fingerling potatoes, roasted shallots, olives, capers, garlic, balsamic vinegar, & fresh herbs. The balsamic was more of a thick, sweet, heavy glaze, and it overpowered the meat. Personally, we both felt it was over-sauced.
I had their 5-course tasting menu.
I shared my dietary restrictions and that I am vegetarian beforehand. And Sorrel did an excellent job at adding delicious and creative alternatives and came up with a vegetarian menu for me, keeping dietary restrictions in mind.
All the dishes were great but I particularly liked the one with root vegetables, risotto that was served with a bread with seeds/nuts since I cannot have gluten which I really enjoyed and the desert that I had very slowly because I did not want it get over :D
Sorrel also offers zero proof pairings(non-alcoholic) which I decided to go for and was the best decision for this course - this provided more variety like tea, soup and some really interesting drinks which matched so well with the food that was served. Highly recommend this.
I had a long day so I was very happy that I had dinner at Sorrel.
It did take a while for some dishes to be served, there is no waiting area and have to wait outside until they are ready, it was really difficult to get through on call with the restaurant.
Flour House is my all time favorite pizza on the Central Coast. Maybe even in the US. Every time they deliver top notch quality food. I'm in love with the Arugula bresaola salad. I'm celiac and I can eat there gluten free pizza. The crust is incredible. Even my friends love it that can eat the regular pizzas. My husband who is Italian, loves the regular pizzas and he also says it's his favorite pizza in California. If your with a big group meter Mondays hits the spot I hear! They have cocktails and a great wine selection. Cool ambiance and a lovely patio in back that is cozy and cute!

Had an amazing dinner at Caffé Sport. Our server was very friendly and assured us that the kitchen took gluten free order very seriously. That us separate water for gluten free pasta and clean the prep space for gluten free pizza. Really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend!
We were in town for a family emergency and looking for a gluten free restaurant for my partner. This is the MOST AMAZING place. The gluten free crepe - perfect, the home potatoes - superb, the service - welcoming, quick and attentive.
Less than a mile from Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, easy to get to if you're needing a delicious meal.
We will be coming back tomorrow. I cant wait to try something different. I would literally wait in the pouring down rain just for this!
I am visiting LA from Atlanta and both my best friend and I have celiac disease. It's usually a struggle finding high quality, delicious, safe food but this place was a pleasant surprise!! The ambiance is really welcoming and it feels very homey. Our server was very friendly and super accommodating to our allergies!! She helped us navigate the menu and we both loved our meals!! I definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a tasty, nutritious, home cooked meal. 10/10!!
Food was good.. I got the papardeli carbona it was salty. Wife got some gluten free stuff that was pretty much like all the other Italian restos.. my daughter and son in law got some pasta with shrimp.. and the kids got spaghetti and pizza.. asked them to close the door as it was cold out but they kinda shrugged me off as it was their entry to the patio and I guess they'd take want to open and close it. Had to ask for parmesan! Refills on ice tea...
Had a wonderful dinner here this evening. I am gluten free and ordered the gnocchi and my husband had the lamb tagliatelle pasta. Great portion sizes. We ordered a bottle of the Super Tuscan which is luscious! We took what was left with us. We shared the misto salad which they graciously split for us. Our service and food were wonderful. We have been to Italy and this is top notch.
Folks Italy is Italy-it’s the terroir of there and cannot be matched but this came pretty darn close! Would defiantly eat here again.
We stopped by while in the area for lunch. It was a sunny day and we were thrilled we didn’t have to wait and got a table outside under cover for shade. I ordered a gluten free flatbread with prosciutto and arugula. It was a nice size, very tasty and fresh ingredients. Service was good even though it was a busy day.
I love this place! The pizza is soo good and service is excellent. They have the best gluten free pizza options. Great brunch menu as well. Definitely recommend this place.
Very delicious appetizers, food, and wine at F&W. I'm gluten free. They offer tasty ricotta with GF crackers and GF pasta for me. The staff is so nice and the atmosphere is amazing.
