The cafe is AMAZING. I am gluten-free and my friend is vegetarian and we were spoilt for choice. I really enjoyed my meal, but found the servings somewhat inconsistent. 3 of us had the beef rump, and all were different sizes and cooked differently, meaning some of my party did not enjoy their meals as much. Lovely restaurant with delicious food. We were 2 adults and a toddler and had dinner on a Sarurday early evening. Restaurant was busy but not fully occupied, although we had a booking. Staff were very friendly and accomodating, specially with gluten free options for our child. BEST BREAKFAST EVER! I am gluten free and vegetarian which is really difficult to cater for usually but Partisan absolutely smashed it! We booked a table for 12 at the Masons Arms as part of a trip to York. I can say it was one of the best decisions we made on our Easter break away. Got booked in to the last available table at 8pm Saturday night. I am coeliac and the owner/chef went through the full menu telling me what she can adapt for my needs. I was served pretty much everything I wanted catered to my needs. Throughout the meal snacks/gluten free treats were brought out for me on the house.
